This Subway seems to have a bad reputation on Yelp. I fail to understand why. I have been here on numerous occasions, the line can occasionally build up with families and uniformed soldiers, I have been to other locations that slowly make sandwiches, this location is rather quick. The staff has always been nice and respectful to me. Some patrons look at their phone or get distracted and hold up the line instead of being punctual with their order. It is important to note, this is the cleanest subway I have ever seen. And the large quantity of seating is very accommodating. read more

18+ people in line waiting on lunch while the girls are only working on online orders... there's workers in the back just looking from behind the wall. When they could hop on line to help get the line going. As a former subway shift lead the line should've been knocked out within 15 mins max easy. read more

Its not bad! But for specific reasons, it takes a while to get your food. Been to this location twice so-far and my food was Def a 5 star!lol. Prior to 11:30 on work days, if you get there at a 11:00, you will walk out by about 11:25 with your order. This location also does online orders. So while standing inline waiting behind the 10+ people waiting to order, they are also completing just as many, if not sometimes more orders from online. So there is some frustration with us customers, (rightfully so), but the workers are beyond amazing, place is clean, including the bathrooms, and workers are wonderful to interact with. They make the food soooo good.lol. For me, it is worth the wait, and I understand what's going on. read more

The hours honestly suck, they think opening from ten to six pm is gonna do a dramatic change in business, but it don't, these are the hours that everyone is at work, trust me. They only have 4 workers and move at a snails pace, I'd say buy your own bread and stuff to make your own hoagie it would taste better and you'd have it a lot faster. read more

This place is a disappointment. 8PM on a weekday 4 workers, 3 goofing off. 1 person is helping you out. On top of the bad customer service the are always out of EVERYTHING. First thing they say to you is we are out of every bread except white flat bread, most all veggies and everything else. This subway should not exist, it is by far the worst subway I have ever been too, the service is sad so dam poor. They never have bread ready to go they expect customer to wait 40 minutes and they never have cookies and the fountain drinks are always out of service. NEVER coming here again. Let's start off with it's one of the few places opened until 9pm in the area. For the most part, this location partakes in the Subway national monthly promotions. Service is great here to include the staff and clean. Usually there's a line; but what can you say (Consider the ratio of population on post and the number of restaurants)? From start to finish when my sandwich was being made plus the 2 minutes it took the guy to figure out how to wrap the sandwich it was 14 minutes... add that to the waiting in line 12 minutes. The meat was no longer even warm but I was starving and it was good. This place now closes at 1700. How is that a good idea on a military installation where many don't conclude their day until 1700. read more

Service and food were good. It's a subway not really anything amazing. If you go at lunch it's busy. Problem I had is an employee who had already clocked out just stopped the whole process of making the customers food and had them make her a sandwich. After that was over and she left, she then returned and did the same exact thing stopping the whole line to have her sandwich made. Management should be involved because people actually left the and went elsewhere due to this employee stopping everything for her. read more

I didn't think it was possible for anyone to move this slow. If this Subway was located anywhere but Ft. Irwin, it would be out of business very quickly. With 4 employees working (one washing windows?) at 2:30, there is absolutely no reason for a long line. read more

If you stop by around 5pm to 6pm expect a line, but it goes pretty fast. I've stopped by this Subway frequently during my stay here and the subs have been good. The veggies fresh, the bread fresh and the service good. I normally order double meat, and twice the double meat was not double meat (it was barely what I would consider regular). But that is the exception to the rule. They always great every customer that comes in the door and they make every effort to get you through the sub making process quickly. It's located centrally to the area so it's easy to get to. It's a bit small on the inside for seating but there is outdoor seating (for when the weather is so hot). read more

This is the slowest subway I have ever been too and the employees take their time. If you don't have an hour lunch you will never get back in time... Seriously takes between 15-30 min to get your sandwich at times. That is a place I stay away from. read more

This place irritates me! I really like their breakfast, and they are the only subway I've been to that stops serving the breakfast altogether at 11am...I was in there the other day...got in the door @1030, and got to the counter at 1102, and was denied breakfast...I did not appreciate the attitude I got when I explained that I got there 30mins prior...I got my breakfast tho...and guess what, the eggs were still on the line! Long lines, especially during lunch hours. They are always out of key ingredients like avocado or bell peppers :(

It's hit or miss here. Sometimes the workers are really nice and the food comes out great. Other times, the lettuce and turkey taste a little funky. Also...do yourself a favor and stop hiring 16 year olds. They are rude little brats who could care less about their work ethic. It makes paying customers want to steer clear. Better yet, have a responsible manager there to MANAGE them. read more

The service here is terrible. Every employee has an attitude and can't seem to follow simple directions. The person making my food is busy fooling with her clothes and doesn't bother changing her gloves afterwards before handling our food. Every time I've been they've been speedy, helpful and very polite. I eat here whenever I can. The only problem I've ever had was a couple times I ordered the meatball sub and a couple of them were burnt but other than that it's amazing. read more

I Never had any problems with this restaurant as I go very often to subway, but my husband and I went on Sunday January 12, 2013 and was the worst experience ever. First we ordered the foot long turkey breast with wheat bread. Unfortunately, the bread was totally disastrous since it was falling apart, it was very soft and falling into several pieces, and the guy that was preparing it did not mind and left it as it was. On the other side, there was another guy placing the vegetables into the sandwich, this person had a very bad attitude, and prepared the sandwich as if preparing food for animals, he just threw the veggies into the sandwich literally. When he finished putting the veggies, the sandwich broke in several pieces, this because the bread was very soft, but again this person did not care and just wrapped it up. When we arrived home to eat the sandwich, it was completely destroyed, the veggies all out and the bread all over the place. My biggest concern is not the bread or the way they prepared, but the bad attitude and poor costumer care that these people displayed. In truth, this was my worst experience at subway. I hope this does not continue happening in this restaurant location, since I am a big fan of subway. read more
