Seems to be an okay company at the moment. When I initially signed up with him I wasn't told I had to pay for ring services in order for my cameras to record any activities so that was an added responsibility that I didn't want; however Gary said he'd reimburse half of what I had to pay for it so I'll see. I don't like when the alarm is triggered and I receive a text and not a phone call. I first met Gary when he came to my door and asked for my business in Home Security. I have stayed with him as a loyal customer because he is a man of his word. He does what he says and has helped me fix any issues I've had dealing with the corporate greed with price gouging and extra fees that happen with the alarm servicing companies. He has always been reliable and accessible. I have a lot of respect for him as a diligent honest business man that works hard for his family. I see these reviews from the past and all I can say is that people change and grow. In a town like this that keeps getting swallowed up by huge corporate buy-outs that your just a number to them. SafenSound Home Management Solutions - Gary Bender gave us everything he told us he would deliver on! We received excellent customer service. Alarm system is working great. William, the alarm tech is very knowledgeable! Both were very professional. We talked with him one day and the security system was installed the next day. We had a door replaced about a week after the installation. I called Gary and he sent William out to reinstall the door sensor because the handyman ended up putting it on upside down. Very quick response time! Gary has been extremely attentive to our needs. I recommend him. We have received quality products with a very good system. He has a legitimate business. After reading all of the 9 stated reviews, I would like to say i can tell you from my experience and honestly, Gary Bender is not a "scammer", "fraud", or any type of that nonsense. Me and my wife have been with Gary's company or companies for about 5-6 years now and have only disagreed on a few things from here and there on the contract. June 3rd, 2022 was when i decided to renew my contract (or the earliest i could've renewed it) because i believe he just received his kidney with his stage 5 Kidney Disease thing going on so he wasn't able to contact me but it was all good because i understood his situation because my son had stage 4 kidney disease aswell. After a couple months later, we decided to talk and work out a deal. Then the next week, his technicians installed 3 spotlight, a ring doorbell, and a couple outside cameras in my front yard. His technicians were super nice and professional, but had to come back the following day to set up the panels inside my home since it was getting late. Today (Thursday September 29th), i had Gary send out a technician when ever he could to checkup on my panel and Willam Crock and Juilian Bale were knocking on my door hours later. Gary and Jennifer are frauds. Like the other guy said if I could give a negative rating I would. Gary says anything to get your business and Jennifer is a good talker like she's on your side but very much a scamming duo. Gary told us that our current contract with Brinks was not valid and we could easily get out of it. WRONG! Ended up paying two security bills. Confronted Gary and he said he would take care of it. Never did. He gets Jennifer involved and she's just as fake and as bad. You've been warned. Jennifer told me all these reviews are from old employees that have a grudge. Hard to believe since I have a very similar story to as the rest. Stay far away from this duo they will lie and lie some more to benefit themselves. read more

Gary Bender former safe home, now strike security, will do and say anything to get your money. Get you locked into a contract with a company that doesnt even monitor your equipment...(Safe home security) our house burned to the ground august 14th 2018, at 535 pm there was a notification sent (in email only) that there was a tamper at our front door, not one phone call from safe home to myself or husband to inquire about door tampering, 3 weeks later I called Gary ( no answer of course) left email ( no answer of course) called safe home to cancel service due to total loss of home to fire and they said they were not going to cancel service Due to we were under contract, called gary ( no answer of course) after many months of trying to cancel contract as there was no home or equipment to monitor, we let them safe home and Gary Bender know that we will be seeking legal council, low and behold contract cancelled. Still havent talked to Gary though seems he has too many company names to actually locate him.Moral of the story Dont let Gary Bender smooth talk his way into your home, he's just there for your money, no matter how bad the company he signs you up for, hes gone with your cash read more

Then a few weeks later after contract is signed and you need help with system he doesn't even call u back. Who runs a business this way??? Obviously he does...... beware!!!!!! The owner, Gary Bender is not a good person to conduct business with. A little over 3 years ago I had signed up with Monitronics. At the time Gary Bender was a contractor with them and owned the company NSA. His outfit installed my system and we did not have any issues. Three years later he contacted me and requested that he get my business back. He stated my contract was up with Monitronics, now MONI, and he had switched over to Safehome. I took him up on his offer so I signed another three year contract with him. The problems started the first night they installed my system, it went off two times in the middle of the night....false alarms. He told me he would send over the same guy the next day, but all the guy did was call and attempted to trouble shoot over the phone. That did not fix the issue so we ended up having his people come back two more times before the issue was fixed. I was more than patient with these inconveniences. So what really made my life a complete cluster was when he sent me a cancellation form letter to send to MONI. I completed the letter and sent it and then found out from MONI I had another 2 years left on my contact. I immediately contacted Gary and he told me he had me down in his database on a 3 year, not a 5 year. He further stated that this was his fault and he would cover the remaining amount on my contact. He said he would send me a check to send to MONI so when I received the final bill I contacted him by phone and email and didn't hear back from him. I called again the next day and spoke with him on the phone. He promised he would place the check in the mail the next day. Almost a week went by and I did not receive anything. I called him again and left a message. The next night I received a text from him and he said he was approved for my refund??? He said he would bring the check to my house the next day. At this time I did not believe a word he had to say. I called Safehome the next day and they told me they would cover the cost of the remaining balance I had with MONI. I received a check from them a week later. In the meantime I had to cover the cost to MONI since the bill was coming up due. Gary Bender is a sly salesman and will tell you what you want to hear so he can get you to sign a contract with him. If he contacts you PLEASE do not make the same mistake I made with this man. I basically went through an entire month getting the run around with him because he had no intention of covering the cost of my remaining contact. All he had to say was the truth and to contact Safehome. I will never allow him or his crew anywhere near me or my house in the future. UPDATE: So I get a call today from Gary Bender after my posted review today. He left a message saying that I may think I know but I really do not know. He says that Safehome gave me the wrong information and the money for my contract buyout with MONI came from his account. He also wanted me to remove my review. Well, it's not going to happen because I have every right to post my opinions about any business transaction....called freedom of speech. When he was giving me the run around for the 2 week period I was stuck in two contracts , how is that a good business practice? You don't tell a client one thing and not follow through with your word. I went ahead and called Safehome when it was clear to me he wasn't mailing any check and, when he lost all credibility with me. I took care of the situation on my own so if the money was taken out of his account as he says then fine. However, everything else on my review is what really happened. I did not ask to break my contract nor have to deal with this hassle the last month, he contacted me requesting my business and I took his word for it when he told me he would mail me the check. I am also not made out of money and work hard for every penny so to me an unexpected $800 expense is a lot to come by. read more

This companys a total scam. They called me and told me they were the alarm company that initially installed my equipment and that they were moving to some other monitoring company and if I switched pricing would be the same. They said for the same price that I would get a free doorbell camera. I agreed to let Gary Bender come see me the following Saturday. The girl on the phone said she would call me on Wednesday to confirm. She never did. So Gary came out and offered me not only the free door bell camera but a lift master for my garage door so that it could be opened with my phone. Set an appointment for the following Friday afternoon. He said he would call me Thursday afternoon. Once again, nobody called. So an hour and a half before the appt I called his office, three different times, got voicemail. Now I'm suspicious, what company isn't answering their phone on a Friday afternoon. So I started Googling and found nothing but bad reviews. Then called my monitoring company and explained what happened. They knew exactly who Gary was, said he never worked for them, it was just a scam. They said he signs people up, tells them their existing contract is voided when in reality they end up with two contracts. They were not sure how they were getting their customers phone numbers. An inside job no doubt. Anyway, I texted Gary and said I changed my mind, his response was "Perfect. I couldn't get you approved anyway". Which is a load of crap. He didn't run a credit check, and if he did it wasn't done legally. Either way I would have been approved. read more
