Everything was good and we set a date for install. As we all know life happens and some adjustment needed to be made. I called John and he was able to accommodate a change in my install date. This company monitors our Fire System and our Alarm system. By telephone, it does take some time to reach a live person. You must select which service you need: commercial or home. It's a few minutes though. You can also monitor your system using their online portal. It is alright. I've been on there enough to know my way around to navigate. Otherwise, I could see how it would be deemed: not user-friendly. Things became easier for me when I was granted "Admin Access". I usually also need to call them to set our systems on "Test" mode when our there is service on our HVAC system or when our Fire System is having the quarterly test. There are several areas they they need access to such as the fire riser room, the monitoring box, and the rest of the panels, which are all over the property. Sometimes the service call turns out to be that the batteries need to be replaced. I like that I will get an email when the tech is on the way over; this just gives me a heads up. Some vendors assume that I am here all the time. Yes, I work full-time.

Nick approached and willingly asked how he could help me. I shared that a year ago I had a fob car key made from a different locksmith and recently it stopped working. Before Nick addressed the problem, he noticed that my fob key was taped with blue tape. I shared that ever since I got this fob key made, the actual key for the car never stayed in place so the blue tape was to ensure that I wouldn't lose the key. Nick, without me asking, stopped and took the time to try to fix that issue. Unfortunately, that issue was not fixable, but Nick gave 200% to try to fix it. Fast forward, Nick ended up changing the battery in the fob key and that fixed my issue. Finally, on a completely different note, I asked Nick for a huge favor. I explained to him that I went to get gasoline earlier and when I went to pull the latch to open my gas door, a clip fell out. Little did I realize that without a functional clip my gas door will not open. Nick gladly helped me get my gas door open. I walked into American Lock and Key with so much stress.
