It's been 10/10 from the careful attention to my issues and figuring out the right pace to the personable professionalism. There are no guarantees in healthcare and I don't want to get ahead of myself, but I've been dealing with chronic pain for a few years and had kind of given up. It's been ten days of exercises and my pain is reduced and I'm sleeping better. Just really fucking grateful right now

The reason that I come back every day isn't just for the workout, but for the community that they've built. Nothing is better than lifelong friendships that were forged in the iron paradise while squat cleaning. Anthony and Pat are not only some of the most knowledgeable coaches that I've ever had, but they make every class fun and approachable. It doesn't matter what your fitness level is, they will find a way to make the workout scalable for you.

Adam is really nice, real cool and personable to talk to, knowledgeable about telling me my treatment plan etc. His assistant, Ashley, was real cool as well, she worked with me on my knee exercises etc. Will come by to check on me periodically as I'm doing my exercises and give you time to work on your exercises yourself. I missed a few appointments and she gave me a call to check on me to see how I'm doing. She's nice. Been here a handful of times and it's been pretty good overall, some of the front desk people are a little spacey with working the computer on scheduling, getting you checked-in and co-pay payment transactions. The staff is mostly ok, some may feel it's social hour and it's super social, fun time among the young staff with each other. I don't mind it but I can see some other patients getting annoyed. May be worth coming by a few times to see if you like it. This is located in the UW Sports Medicine Clinic in Ballard right at 15th & Leary, right at the bridge, it's near Trader Joes, across the street from L.A Fitness and all that. The building is part of the UW system so there are a lot of other types of doctors there, xray/labs, and so on. It's one stop shopping set up. I like the location as I live nearby and it's right on the bus line. Pray for my knee.

With Vickie now gone I've found better care elsewhere. I found my treatment not flexible enough for root cause analysis. 15 minutes with Brian 45 minutes of excercises. Not getting better? Let's keep doing the same things.

Went here for months and months without missing an appointment. Work as a firefighter, worked a 72 hour shift and missed one appointment and they charge you $100 out of pocket, doesn't matter how long you've been a good patient. Also, it was $25, but they sent out a very easy to miss policy revision through EMAIL changing it to $100 with no agreement from patients. And when you call the front desk concerned with the 400% increase, she lets out an audible, "oh my god" and treats you like garbage. Also, she didn't let my PT know that I called in to apologize to my PT as soon as I'd realized I'd missed the appointment. Rude. My Physical Therapist was super awesome though and if you go here I would recommend Leah Kern, however, I don't agree with management's business practices. Been getting PT just down the street at one of their competitors and am treated much better and they have better, AND less expensive cancellation policies (and parking too).

I came in completely frustrated about a back issue that was making daily tasks hard. I came out knowing an old ankle injury was the cause and with a plan on how to move forward. And, I have seen considerable progress within a week. The clinic felt more personal than many I've been to. I didn't feel like I was being slotted into a 30 min slot with the therapist needing to move on. The therapist took time to talk to me, understand my background and previous injuries, and make sure that they were confident in their assessment. I really couldn't recommend more.

This was after I asked if I was being assigned too many reps because I suspected I was sore in not good ways. After that Sunday issue resolved, I started tracking how often I had issues after a PT visit. There's stretch and then there's strain. We had this convo and still my limb was overworked. Now at a different PT and it's enlightening. Also, the business side of this place is a wild ride. First, everything is in text. EVERYTHING. You can't call in and make an appt. You can leave a msg and they'll text you. And then you text them back. And then they may text you back... This was really inefficient on my end. I can't imagine it isn't on theirs as well. At your first appointment, they scan your driver's license because "it's required by law." No. No, it is not. And if insurance was worried about scammers/substitutes, they'd put a pic on our cards like Costco does, so I don't get why they wanted to scan my license. I refused and the office manager ok'd it. Also, the office manager was there when I asked to see their privacy policy. They couldn't produce it but said they would the "next" visit. They were never able to produce a privacy policy and that IS actual law (FEDERAL law to be exact) and not a new law. BTW, the intake form requires everyone to check a box that they've read the privacy policy. I told them I would check it with the understanding that they would show me a privacy policy at my next appt. May seem minor but it's indicative of how a medical office is run IMO. Re: the place. The physical place is great. Clean, comfortable, welcoming, with decent parking. Re: therapist. I may have just had a bad therapist for my issues. Glad I moved on. Re: the office issues. Hard pass.

We greatly value our mobility and independence. Salmon Bay therapists have guided us over the years to recover from injuries and surgeries (2 hip replacements last year). I have worked primarily with Andi but have happily worked with other therapists at Salmon Bay, as has my husband. We have always received great care and attention, lots of instruction on the body mechanics involved and the exercises to strengthen and recover, with lots of encouragement and motivation. I was referred to Integrated Rehabilitation Group for occupational therapy on my left thumb because…read moreKaiser Permanente couldn't get me an appointment for six weeks. My thumb needed treatment immediately, not a month and a half later. After pushing back, Kaiser finally authorized me to see an in-network provider, and I was relieved when IRG could get me in much sooner. Unfortunately, that's where the positive experience ended. When I arrived for my appointment, the OT told me they were "short staffed" and that he would have to split his time between me and another patient sitting right next to me. I was stunned. I was paying my copay for one-on-one occupational therapy, yet I spent the appointment sharing my therapist's attention with someone else. At no point did I feel like I had his full focus or that I was receiving the level of care I was there to receive. The treatment itself was underwhelming. My hand was dipped in warm paraffin wax, which felt nice, but I later saw the visit billed as heat therapy with ultrasound. I never received any ultrasound treatment. Seeing that on the bill raised serious questions for me about the accuracy of the billing. It feels fraudulent. To make matters worse, after dividing his attention between two patients for the entire session, I walked away with exactly one exercise to do at home and a tiny rubber thumb guard. Then I saw the bill: $553 charged to Medicare for that visit. From my perspective, the value of the care I received was nowhere close to what was billed. I left feeling rushed, overlooked, and disappointed. I expected individualized occupational therapy, not shared treatment and what felt like the bare minimum of care. I cannot recommend Integrated Rehabilitation Group based on my experience.
