I've seen a lot of music in my life, and some of the best shows have been at World Records, I'm talking artists like Mindi Abair, Sugaray Rayford, Ana Popovich, and Selwyn Birchwood, just to name a few. This is top notch talent all the way! Great acoustics, small and comfy, it's just an excellent place to see music. The fact that the artists come out and sign autographs etc. at the end of the show is the kind of experience you can rarely find any more or any place else. They have so much talent it's a pleasure that they are a Bakersfield band. Accompanying Walter this evening was Teddy Zig Zag on keyboards, John Avila on base, Michael Leisure on drums and John Trout, Walter's Son, vocals & guitar. What an all star band each member having a storied history of their own. On concert nights you can call ahead to order one of Jimmy's famous wood fired pizzas for a little nosh preconcert. O Time for me to get…read morea new phone, my family has been after me for a couple years, they call my phone the potato. I made a appointment over the phone for 3 pm at the store on California Ave. we went in and tried to sign in but there was no record of our appointment. We waited about 15 minutes before a nice young man contacted us, he couldn't answer many of our questions it was frustrating I felt he was new at sales we thanked him. We then went to another smaller Verizon store and were disappointed there was only one poor salesperson she had many customers she was doing her best but she didn't have time to help everyone I felt sorry for her. The other salesperson had just left for lunch. We thanked her for her limited help and left after about 45 minutes. We came home and will give it another try tomorrow. Verizon is our carrier and we like their coverage but finding a store that has the proper staffing and knowledgeable sales people to help us buy another phone has been a challenge.
