This company brought a processing truck that appears to have violated the law as it processed the leaves and balls in residential areas. First and foremost, it created so much dust that you could not see through the dust cloud to the other side. But also, the workers did not bother to check to see if neighbors' windows were open before starting, and mine were. This truck was sitting about 10 feet from my open windows, producing an amount of air pollution that was in no way legally acceptable for a residential neighborhood, and a huge dust cloud from the organic matter that they were processing blew into my house, all over my belongings, on my cats, and my cats started sneezing and running around frantically. I literally had to do two days of emergency cleaning after they left (including hiring house cleaners). And that was just the inside of the house. Thank goodness I was home to get the cats to safety. It was so stressful. When I went outside to tell them to control their dust, the workers offered to clean my car for me, as if that would make it all better, which was just bizarre, and the least of my concerns in that moment. I had dust in my hair, in my mouth, all over my clothes, and in my ears and eyes, plus it was also all over the house and all over my belongings around the house. Further, the I'm certain that the noise exceeded the legal residential noise limit. Also, the workers trespassed all over my property , including my front porch, and left piles of leaves all over my plants, which would have likely killed them if not removed. I have pictures and video to prove all of this. I thought of calling the company and demanding that they come back to make everything right, but I really don't want a company that is this oblivious and careless anywhere near my house ever again, plus what they did was too problematic to imagine that they could realistically make amends. It was truly horrific. If this review is removed for any reason I will follow up with a BBB complaint and a formal complaint with the county. On a side note, what this company is doing at large is extremely environmentally damaging to Monarchs and other endangered species. If you don't know about leaf removal, google it.

We recently (Saturday, July 4th, 2026) had a microburst storm that literally destroyed 8 trees on our property. These trees were all about 40 years old from when we built the house. Dubois Tree Service was out on our property the following Tuesday at 8:00 with a full crew. They not only worked on our property, but also on several other properties that day. It took two days to totally clean our property, but they were out in our neighborhood six days in a row helping people with MAJOR storm damage. The owner Jimmy was with the crew everyday and his wife Christine in the office kept us up to date while I am sure she was managing a hundred different calls as this again was a MAJOR storm. We had a big Chestnut oak tree in our back yard that had started dying last year. It had really…read morewide, spreading branches and a thick trunk. It was also located at the top of a bank that leads down to a creek, so the location was tricky. We obtained four estimates before starting our project. Caliber exceeded the other tree companies in every way. Their proposal was professional, specific, and detailed, and they provided information about their licensing and insurance. Both Tim and Julian were very responsive to questions. We had some limitations about where they could go on the property with the heavy equipment, because of the location of our septic field. They put down mats and did their best to minimize the impact of their work on the yard. They used two crews so there were eight men working at once, but they coordinated their efforts so well, and every person was friendly and helpful. They chipped branches and hauled away all the huge trunk sections. I would recommend them very highly for more complicated jobs.

The yard also features a 5' W x 50' L raised garden bed planted with various dwarf evergreens trees and deciduous plants. It is a lot of yard and I find it next to impossible to keep it looking neat and orderly.) The Moyers landscaping team, led by Danny, arrived on the exact day and time promised (no rescheduling on their end; what a blessing in this day and age). I watched the team working from my windows and could not believe how hardworking and efficient they were. The crew was absolutely dedicated to the work at hand and cut no corners. In short, they exceeded my every expectation. On Day 2, I was greeted at my door by Danny for the walk through of the completed work. I couldn't believe my eyes. Our search for a landscaper began as a search for someone to repair a leaking foundation. After three foundation companies said our water intrusion issues were grading related we started our search for a landscaper in Severna Park. I called 6 companies, 3 showed up for the scheduled appointments to price the work and out of those 1 provided us with a proposal. We'd asked for an itemized proposal with a few 'wish list' items and got back a lump sum estimate for the grading portion of the project alone. I called one more company at the recommendation of a neighbor-- Bear Landscaping. It took about a week to get on Russell's busy spring calendar, but he showed up on time, listened to ALL of our concerns (including my constant wants versus needs budgeting assessment) and gave us his recommendations. In addition to the grading he addressed how to make our project last -- namely our super shaded yard with lots of tall (and many dead) trees wouldn't allow for grass to maintain the grading project meaning we'd be in a cycle of re-doing the work. Russell suggested removing the trees (I could only hear cash register sounds in my head as he continued), laying sod and finishing with river rock on the side of our house. Within days I had a quote in my email that had to be wrong: it was nearly half of the quote that I'd expected to receive and considerably more competitive than the one from a big name company (who only priced the grading work which I'd have had to pay for multiple times over because the solution wasn't a long term one). I was floored. We booked all of the services immediately and Russell's team came out for the tree removal about two weeks later and just came back after another week to finish the grading, sod and river rock treatment. Russell's team even hit a snag with their drainage approach when our deck turned out to have another deck built underneath it, but they quickly pivoted to a new solution without hesitation. Also worth noting: both landscaping crews that came to our house were friendly and professional to us and our neighbors. My husband and I could not be happier-- the transformation of our property is unbelievable. We have had neighbors seek us out to compliment the work. We are so grateful for Russell's easygoing, no pressure and honest approach, and that he took the time to truly listen to our concerns and fully explain solutions.
