I go to StretchLab after working out & after physical therapy after I was injured & before injury workouts/ personal trainer..if you think you're miraculously going to be cured. Uh welcome to real life. You have to put in work outside of appointments. I had a fantastic experience at StretchLab. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the cleanliness and welcoming atmosphere of the studio& staff! They were not only friendly but also highly knowledgeable. My Flexologist took the time to understand my goals and tailored the session to address my specific needs. Their expertise was evident as they guided me through personalized stretches with care and precision. So I was hesitant to give Stretch Lab a try but I'm happy I did! I tried the group stretch class first which was great and to my surprise we were doing stretches I really didn't even think I could do but I did! I also took a 25 minute private that was beyond wonderful with Marissa. The personal assistance of stretching was as wonderful as a therapeutic massage. Services, great. Ethics, not so much. Policies for canceling a membership are quite deceiving and met with pressure and loop hole policies to continue to take your money. The passive aggressive manager thought he was doing me a favor by saying "we want to avoid having to call collections". I simply feel bamboozled and taken advantage of. For more background see email I sent, my hope is to protect current and future customers: Following up from yesterday's call on April 12 with your shady manager which after the fact left me feeling taken advantage of, bewildered by a bait and switch tactic and left me paying for services that I do not want. Please see this entire  thread starting from Oct. 5, 2021 note this was my 30 day notice of cancellation, followed by a confirmation email  on Oct 6 stating "Your final billing date will be 10/28/21, and your final use date will be 11/28/21 " continuing to Feb 6 once again confirming my cancellation to Feb 7. I have spent SIX MONTHS trying to cancel - and today I see  through your app that you have taken my new CC once again put on file for charges and received a Welcome email- the very opposite of what I want as a former customer who paid every single required bill on time.  In addition your manager had the audacity to by a passive agressive threat to call collections if I didn't pay for another month(s) of services that I did not want. I will be stopping payment  from my CC card company with emails texts and phone calls proving my case further more I have started a complaint with BBB and have taken the time to write reviews on multiple platforms  (I have read other reviews from BBB and social platforms I am not the only one to be victimized which further proves my point) exposing your unethical ways of business practice in order to protect current and future customers. Wow I had a great experience here! I did some research and learned that StretchLab's employees (they're called Flexologists!) have to go through an in depth training that's actually a nationally accredited certification! Super impressed by how friendly and professional my flexologists have been. You can schedule your stretches on the StretchLab app, and I even combined two of my stretches to get an extra long stretch (my package is for 25 minutes but I put two together for 50 minutes which was EPIC). They will lure you to their site and be ambiguous about the intro stretch pricing. Only the group stretch is free but not the intro stretch. Be careful that if they contact you for an intro stretch, that means they assume you to pay. Don't go to this place. I've been going to Stretch Lab for about 5 months and have absolutely seen major health benefits since adding this to my weekly routine. I've increased my ability to recover faster from Orange Theory workouts, enhanced my flexibility, and have been able to subdue migraines that I've been plagued with for years. I also sit at a desk most days and travel frequently for work, so going from long-term stagnancy straight into HIT workouts has shown to take a toll on my body if I don't recover properly. Stretch Lab is a major part of that process as well as a place that forces me to disconnect from my phone! The staff at stretch lab helped diagnose what could be causing the pain based on my description and the result of my virtual stretch test. I typically don't write reviews but I will in this case because I'm so impressed with Victoria. She's professional, considerate and of course fun (to talk to). She really listens and try's to design each scratching session around what particular issue you are having that day or week. If you are regularly active with exercise or sport and maybe starting to get a little older I can't see how you would not be interested in improving your mobility and flexibility. Victoria is really a people type person and enjoys getting to know her clients. Her energy and enthusiasm for her job is infectious and I find the hour I spend with her weekly passes by quickly. The whole Stretchlab team at the Solano Beach location always puts you at ease and is very accommodative to schedule changes and your time obligation. I want to thank Jeremy Lee at StretchLab Solano beach. When I started, I had extreme sciatic pain, lower back pain, and was generally stiff to the point where even walking was compromised and painful. Jeremy explained that it is a process, it takes time to change a 66 year old body, but I would get there! Within a few weeks, I suddenly realized how much my pain was reduced and flexibility was increased. The sciatic pain completely disappeared! I could not believe how good I felt, for the first time in years. I also understand that I need to maintain myself and continue with routine stretches. With Jeremy, it is such a pleasure. Here's an interesting opportunity. Stretch LAB in Solana Beach LIES. #1 - I tried Stretch ZONE in Encinitas at an event in Jan'19 down in San Diego - they were GREAT! They gave us a little glimpse and said to come for a free trial as they didn't have the straps they usually have. My husband loved it, but with his work in LA and other factors, we didn't have an opportunity to get in all year (soon - I highly recommend stretch zone's people and warmth and how good you feel - even when you don't have the full effect!) #2 - they were outside my gym in Solana Beach (stretch lab), promoting and giving out a free stretch. I signed up and waited.. and waited.. went away and came back and waited.. and waited.. and then they packed up and left! No apologies or anything. How rude! #3 - I see stretch lab at fletcher's cove after a few hours walking, running and swimming at the beach. I have a pretty bad back and while walking is good, it can also cause a lot of tensions in my back which I thought wow - if they're offering a trial, let's give them another chance. WOW - I was yelled at that it's for first timers (which I said that I was). They said they've seen me before and I'm not a first timer as they saw me at an event in January. Uhm.. I am a first timer as their only space is in solana beach (or so the owner told me) and I just walked away with my friend and decided they would never ever get my business. I realized when I looked it up that there are definitely two spaces in north county and please do not be confused! STRETCH ZONE IS GREAT and stretch LAB is NOT. Their people are unkind, and with five people sitting around offering free stretches and shooing a person in pain away and telling them they aren't wanted. I don't know if they are body shaming me for not being super fit at this stage in my life, or just not truly into body assistance, but I'm disgusted and disappointed if this is the type of business they are looking to run. I am truly supportive of local businesses, but this is not ever going to be one of them. I gave them three attempts (tried calling the owner - and they just offer you to pay to try them out - but after their attitudes - there is no way I'd pay anything to "try" them. If they were any good - they would have confidence. But, they are evil hearted with terrible business practices in my book. If you need a massage or a stretch.. GO TO STRETCH ZONE IN ENCINITAS! I actually gave a glowing recommendation for the Stretch Lab in Solana Beach last month. Sadly, we're here now because of an experience with their owner. I had been going there 4 times a month since the start of this past Spring (2021). First thing...It's expensive...not cheap at all...so understand that going in. I worked with two really great "stretch-ologists" over my time there. I'm routinely looking for things to make my mind and body feel the best it can get. Stretch Lab seemed like a good fit after my first few visits. Plus, I am a big supporter of trying to help the local economy, spreading the good word about local businesses and people who do me right, and the folks/employees there I interacted with were really very nice. However, today when I walked in for my appointment, I was greeted by an individual who was behind the desk, presumably worked there, but also someone I had never seen there before in the 14-15 appointments I previously had. She was exceptionally loud, carried herself in a manner that I would best describe as over doing it from a "personality plus" standpoint, but also clearly had an "I have authority" tone to her voice. As I walked in--this person was also making chummy jokes about my first name as if we had been introduced in the past and she felt comfortable enough to do so. End of the day, at the very moment--totally fine and not that big of a deal--in most cases. I was happy to smile and move along from her and wait for my appt. However, she didn't read my body language all that well--I wasn't in the mood to interact with the Mrs. Personality Plus routine--and she then followed my movement to their waiting/sitting area and said, "Did you bring your grip socks today!?!?" (Now this wasn't a first, I had been asked that question before, but only during my first visit. Never got asked again. As stated, this was easily my 14th or 15th visit. I said, "Sure?") She then questioned my response, proceeded to tell me "that in order to have a stretch, you must wear grip socks!" -- where upon I informed her that in the previous 14 times I had been there, no one asked me to have grip socks on. (I'm quite certain they have a pair there for me to purchase though--which are grotesquely overpriced and I'm sure the margins are very much in the owner's favor--which is indisputable. Look on Amazon for "Grip Socks" and see how much they are relative to Stretch Lab's price). I very sternly summarized to her that A.) I was happy to leave if she was going to enforce the very lackadaisical policy, B.) I had been there around 15 times and 14 of them hadn't been asked about grip socks, C.) furthermore, I had never encountered her before, and finally, D.) that's when she told me she was the owner and we could go outside and talk further. No thank you. (*Side note, honestly, since that first visit--I never saw what the purpose was for wearing "grip socks" was. You're lying down on a table the entire time while you're being stretched and no one is actively grabbing your feet in a manner that would necessitate you and your feet to be gripped to anything. Hence never been asked to wear them again? I digress.) Listen...if you* want to have a company wide grip sock policy for your customers while they get stretched out--or any policy for that matter every single time they come in, that's totally cool-- I have no issue with that at all. However, if you're not going to enforce that policy 99% of the time I have previously been in there, and then you're suddenly out of the blue 1.) not going to introduce yourself to a customer who's been there several times and 2.) stomp your proverbial feet up and down and tell me I have to either leave (while I bet still having to pay for my appointment) or buy the over priced grip socks you have there...then sorry Charlie, I'm out. Also out? The aforementioned expensive sum I was willing to pay you each month to come in there. *With all due respect, if you're the owner of a business like this one, handle things differently. Be classier. Read the room. You're in the people/customer service business. You're also rarely there if I haven't seen you in the 14 or 15 times I've been there before. I'm paying your business a monthly membership fee that is about 3 times as much as a gym membership, to come (4) times a month for a 25 minute stretch. Take a quick second to understand that. Defuse the situation, offer a friendly alternative to a person who's clearly been a paying customer for a few months. Instead, you ignited the fire substantially more, one that you clearly saw was burning right in front of you. When you combine the owner's approach, with her over done personality plus, "How ya' doin' champ?" opening vibe while you're mocking my first name as I literally walk through your front door--that's not a good recipe for a dish well served. Buyer beware: I visited the Solana Beach Stretch Lab studio for an introductory session. During the course of the session, while my personal "flexologist" was stretching my right leg, I heard a pop in my knee and screamed (as did the "flexologist"). I left the studio in pain and unable to walk. After icing my knee for a bit ended up in the Emergency Room because I couldn't put any pressure on my leg. After 8 hours in the ER and a series of x-rays, I left with a knee immobilizer and instructions to see an orthopedic. I now LIVE with knee pain and my knee was 100% fine before walking into this place. Do not do this.... they are not trained professionals and you could end up like me - in daily pain because of your experience there. read more

They had everything to be good if it wasn't for the worst customer service. They were signing people up when they were still under construction, and I did think it would be a great thing so I decided to join, but I told them many times that my schedule changes every week and since they didnt have a class schedule yet, they told me that they would call everyone who paid in advance to see whats the best time for everyone and theeen make the schedule based on us. And they charged my card right away! Never received a call. Never was I once asked what time works for me. The holidays came and everyone was busy so I just waited till January to ask when they would open and guess what. They were already open, already with a schedule, already charging my card, with only 3 classes a week at 9am when I told them (manager and owner) MANY TIMES before signing up that I specifically couldn't do at 9am. I then asked for a refund and cancellation and they told me they could cancel my membership but not refund me and that they would charge me ONE MORE MONTH. This is ridiculous. So I never ever step a foot in that place and they already have $150 from me. I understand that its a business and they can't do their thing based on me of course but when they sell you something promising you that they would work around your times and ask you and make it work both ends, they should keep their word.
