The Sweat 60 class is an infrared heated class and it works every single muscle. I love the way the classes are lit (it's dark inside) and the music is perfect. The studio is new, clean and people are spaced out inside. They sanitize all your equipment when the class is over, and give out a refreshing cold towel. There's a shower, bathroom with toiletries and places to store items. The location is convenient for anyone in Frisco/Prosper and is right on 380 west. Best of all, the community is so welcoming and it's a local woman-owned business! They even do social events with members. Tips for your first time: register online, arrive a few minutes early, hydrate before and after class and be sure to grab a towel before class - you'll need it!

The workouts are in a heated 90 degree room so you definitely will burn calories and SWEAT! All the instructors are great and I love the community they have here. The music is always bumpin' and the workouts are fun, but they also push you. Sweat Project is definitely one of the best workouts you can do while having fun!

The worst customer service ever. PLEASE GO TO another gym. Not worth the hassle. I used Merrideth as a personal trainer and it was a was not worth my time. I ended up just not showing up bc the training she did was far from acceptable. She talked to other customers during my training session. She was supposed to help me with my fitness pal and she never checked that. Beyond disappointing.

On Monday, August 12, 2019, PACs locks were changed by their landlord because they had not paid rent. The owner was over $64,000 in debt to the landlord. We were sent an email assuring us that this was temporary, that they had no clue what had happened, and that no one would be charged dues while they were closed. The owner had to know exactly what was going on. He moved up his annual "improvement" fee up from December to the very beginning of August. He offered a special 2 year deal for members if they paid up front, but he only offered it for 24 hours, on July 30th. He charged all of the new two year memberships, the week before the doors were closed, some of them the day the doors closed. He has continued to charge dues to those who hadn't put a stop payment on their cards, the list of horrific things the owner has done to his customers and employees goes on and on and on. If this place ever opens back up, unless if it under completely different ownership, do not go there! We were told on Tuesday that we would receive further updates, we haven't. We have also been told that the owner, has skipped town. Save yourself some grief!!!

When I moved to Mckinney last year, I was thrilled that there was a YMCA right down the street, literally walking distance from my home. I joined and right away starting noticing huge differences between the Mckinney Y and the Frisco Y. Whereas the employees at the Frisco Y were cheerful and helpful, the employees at Mckinney Y were surly and acted like it was a burden to answer questions or do their job. When I asked for a tour, the employee at the desk gave a heavy sigh and literally walked 15 steps down the hall and said "this is one of the exercise rooms and there is the gym over there". When I asked about spin classes, he gave me sheet which showed only a couple of classes, all of which were during normal working hours. Note to YMCA, fire the current group of employees and get employees who actually act like they enjoy working at the Y and want to be helpful. There are the usual exercise machines and weights but the machines are dated. The location of the Mckinney Y was great but my wife and I dropped our membership. She joined LA Fitness on Custer and I purchased an indoor cycling trainer.
