Absolutely horrible service. We cancelled in April and are still being charged we even disputed the charges and still get charged. John and Merrideth will NOT return our calls. The worst customer service ever. PLEASE GO TO another gym. Not worth the hassle. I used Merrideth as a personal trainer and it was a was not worth my time. I ended up just not showing up bc the training she did was far from acceptable. She talked to other customers during my training session. There isn't anyway to give 0 stars, or I would. Let me start out by saying I have been a member of this gym for almost 3 years with zero issues up until now. On Monday, August 12, 2019, PACs locks were changed by their landlord because they had not paid rent. The owner was over $64,000 in debt to the landlord. We were sent an email assuring us that this was temporary, that they had no clue what had happened, and that no one would be charged dues while they were closed. The owner had to know exactly what was going on. He moved up his annual "improvement" fee up from December to the very beginning of August. He offered a special 2 year deal for members if they paid up front, but he only offered it for 24 hours, on July 30th. He charged all of the new two year memberships, the week before the doors were closed, some of them the day the doors closed. He has continued to charge dues to those who hadn't put a stop payment on their cards, the list of horrific things the owner has done to his customers and employees goes on and on and on. If this place ever opens back up, unless if it under completely different ownership, do not go there! We were told on Tuesday that we would receive further updates, we haven't. We have also been told that the owner, has skipped town. Save yourself some grief!!! read more

Overcharged and Scammed!!! Called and spoke to 3 separate employees about cancelling. All 3 assured me my account was cancelled and i would not be charged. Then i was charged again after 3 weeks. This is by far the best locally owned gym! Love the staff, trainers and childcare. The trainers are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and motivated to help you reach your goals. They have many classes and can help you modify anything based on your fitness level. The Jungle which is their CrossFit type workout area, really pushes you to your fitness limits! The childcare is included in your monthly dues and has great hours. The owner does care about his members and teaches several classes. I highly recommend this gym. read more

It's a good thing there aren't many choices for gyms in Prosper. When they move in, and they will, PAC Fitness will surely go under. Equipment is disgustingly dirty, rusty with years of sweat, falling apart, vinyl torn and cracked on almost every piece of equipment. I workout 4-5 times per week and I myself have to repair equipment to make it operational - handles un-screwed or falling off, replacing pieces left in the floor. Ugh! Hell, one of the two men's urinals has been out of order for over a month. Locker room is regularly out of paper towels and soap ( Yo! It's flu season people!) Pretty sure the only cleaning done is by the high school kids that come once a week. Don't waste your money here folks. Make the drive to another gym that takes care of its facilities. As soon as my prepaid membership (my fault) ends I'm heading anywhere else! read more

I've been a member of PAC for about 10 years now. I have enjoyed the variety of classes offered and the times they are available. Classes include spin, boxing, pilates, cross conditioning, boot camps, and much more. They have consistently hired the best Zumba instructors. It's the class that makes you smile during your workout. This gym is neighbor owned and operated. It is not a chain or part of a larger corporation. I'm glad it's local and that I'm not traveling far to work out. The convenience, classes and instructors are key factors that keep me renewing year after year. read more

I really like PAC. Easy convenient location. My only complaint is that I wish they had additional classes at additional times -- it would be great if I were a housewife or stay-at-home-mom....but I have a big girl job which really limits my schedule. I suppose making 1-2 classes/week is better than none at all though. read more

My family and I recently built a home in Prosper,TX. We belong to another gym but the closest one to us is 22 miles. My husband joined PAC fitness first... For the month of October they ran a special for current members to sign up family members for $14.99. So he signed me up. Today was my first time going to the gym. It's the nasty gym I have ever seen. The equipment is old and filthy. I'm sure that you will catch MECR or need a technic shot if you get scratched on some of the rusted equipment. The customer service is horrible. The older gentleman at the front desk barely parted his lips when I said good morning. They don't even have hand sanitizer place throughout the facility, if you want some you have to walk all the way to the front desk, where someone went to CVS to purchase a bottle of it. I would rather use my time, gas and toll tag rather than return to this horrible gym. read more

I've been going to PAC for nearly 2 years. It is clean and well maintained. The staff is nice and helpful. I use a personal trainer there, and he is very knowledgeable and professional. Due to his help, I'm down over 30 lbs and more toned than I have been in numerous years! I highly recommend this gym! read more

These people are scammers! Cancelled membership over 2 years ago and they are still billing me! They say you have to give written notice. Sorry my time is more valuable than that. I'm not going to leave work to give you a written notice.. If someone cancels then cancel the service. Me along with many other people will be reporting this business to the BBB, the Attorney General of Texas, and anyone else we can get our message to.. I received another call today from Pac Fitness claiming I OWE them $1100 in past dues! These people are crazy. Multiple attempts were made last year when this first happened to reach the Owner Mike and nothing was done. Now the calls continue. Don't go to this place. Not recommended for those who work. Not many evening classes unless you want to pay extra and no evening Yoga classes. I used to work out before work and shower there however, it's nasty dirty and I won't do that any longer. I showed up twice for an evening hot Yoga class (fee-based, of course!) only to be told that they weren't having it that night. Called to verify the class the next night and was told yes it was being held only to get there and they changed the class schedule. The 16 yr old behind the counter really didn't care that this was my 2nd time showing up for a class that didn't exist. they don't seem to be putting any money back into the gym. Soon I will be canceling my membership and moving to LA Fitness. read more

I live less than a minute from the location. Customer service is not up to par. My membership was taken over the phone because I could not make it in before they closed and the promotion ended that day. I asked lots of questions. Things were not disclosed before my credit card was charged. Turned them into BBB. I give my money to honest people. Do not deal with Mike. He is dishonest. read more

Beware, and attention parents. They are allowing minors to sign contracts and continuing to debit their accounts after they have canceled. I discovered these illegal transactions on my child's account and, John, the owner is refusing to refund the funds he took, when the membership has not been used in months. I have made the proper formal complaints with the BBB and our bank. read more

I really like PAC. My only complaint is that I wish they had better yoga classes with better qualified yoga instructors. I'd like a dark, peaceful, relaxing yoga experience with spa type music. read more

I have been coming to Pac Fitness for about a month and really enjoy it. Not as much selection as one of the monster clubs you see these days but they have everything anyone would need or want (except a pool). They have a kids area, the place is always very clean, and the people that work there are nice and helpful. read more

This is not an overstatement, it is the worst gym that I have ever joined. I cancelled my membership two years ago after getting some rash from the equipment. As of today I am still getting charged! I went in and ask them to search my file for my cancellation letter. They pulled my filed, reviewed it in secrecy and told me that there was not cancellation letter. I asked them if I could take a look, they said NO! The place is filthy and the equipment is in complete disrepair. The laugh is on the members thought because PAC actually charges the members a secret annual fee to upgrade the equipment. What a joke! It is actually funny when you look at the equipment. They cant even afford paper towels to wipe down machines. Instead to put two or three disgusting face towels where the towels use to be and expect that you use an old sweaty-wet towel to wipe down your machine. Good luck to anyone who joins. You have been warned. I have been forced to retain an attorney to go after the owner. read more

The hubs and I have had a membership here for about a year, and mostly we really like it. They have plenty of elliptical so no one is waiting in line to use them, they have a nice sized studio room where they have zumba, yoga, and a few other classes. They also have a spinning studio. The locker rooms are nice, and I really like that a tanning membership is included with your monthly fee (There is only one bed though, and it gets hot!). However, the price is kind of steep and they are able to do that because they are the only gym in the area. They close week nights at 10 pm, so night owls you have to go early. Also, the majority of the classes are scheduled right smack in the middle of the day, and as I have a job I can't make most of them, but stay at home mom and house wives would definitely benefit from the schedule. (There is a 6:30 zumba class about three times a week!) So, I like it but there are definitely areas for improvement! read more

I joined Pac almost a year ago. While the club appears to be well equipped for a smaller facility, I have found that much of it is in need of repair and repeated requests for maintenance goes unaddressed by management. The spin bikes are in desperate need of service/replacement and despite members asking repeatedly for repair, nothing has been done. Overall, management seems to have a lack of concern for current member's requests. Instead, they seem focused on recruiting new members. About 6 months ago, they added a new cross-training facility for the purpose of up-charging members in order to access the new equipment and classes. I think it is absurd that they would add new equipment in order to recruit new members and increase revenue before they would address issues with current equipment. I would recommend driving the extra 15 minutes to one of the many clubs in Frisco/Mckinney. read more
