Horrible customer service. Bought a package, went to one session, didn't really see the benefit, so tried to cancel. They said to send an email. Fast forward weeks of no response, and after being billed $15 a month for freezing my account, said they didn't get an email. I send a screenshot showing the email and they said to resend an email. Resent email. Finally got to cancel after much back and forth with whomever mans the texting service. I still have three classes left and I can't book them online and have to go through texts that get no response. They say I can use them anytime but apparently my credits aren't there anymore. read more

not really my favorite stretchlab location in terms of staff (compared to fremont, sunnyvale and santa clara). theres only maybe 3 or 4 flexologists i really like here. you really have to try and see who you vibe with and can also cater to your stretching needs. upside is the location is amazing! walking distance to a lot of spots. parking can be poo poo but theres also garage parking as a last resort read more

I received a phone call from a very nice lady named Michelle who was following up with me after I left a voicemail looking for more information about what stretch labs is. She answered all of my questions and asked me questions about my needs and my wife's needs as well. She spent probably 30 minutes with me on the phone and said she took notes for the stretching person for when we come in. We came into the studio and both of our stretchers were so awesome. Mine was Eric I believe, he listened to me when I told him my problems and he focused on the areas I told him were bothering me. I don't know which one my wife had, she had a young gal who was also very nice. Eric was fantastic and so attentive I was really impressed. Michelle called me after our stretches to talk about memberships. She said she wasn't in town but wanted to make sure I got followed up with. She was very clear and concise and signed up my wife and I! She was so kind and caring to us we really felt like we have a team of people on our side. I've been having chronic pain for years and haven't been able to find relief. My wife has severe headaches due to tightness in her neck and shoulders and after the one stretch so far we both felt relief. Michelle spent a while on the phone after our stretches helping me get the app to book my sessions and did the same with my wife. She explained how to use it and helped me book my next sessions. I will be back in to see Eric every week! We will be attending sessions 1 time per week for 50 minutes. My wife will also be leaving a review! I've used several health services and gyms in my long life. Stretch Lab Mountain View is the only one that I've ever had a horrible enough experience to negatively review. Would rate them negative stars if possible. Do not waste your time here, I tried to work with them and give them a chance, but Stretch Lab Mountain View is very poorly managed. Steer clear of this place-Very surly and unprofessional managers who misrepresent their terms of service. They are trying to collect charges from me for services that were never delivered and are now, according to them, services that are unavailable. As per my last review, out of everyone at stretch lab, Amanda treated me better than anyone else. And then I left a review based on my experiences with the bullshitting manager pictured. I am now updating my review to let you know of a terrible injustice that occurred at StretchLab. An anonymous coward presenting and signing as "stretchlab staff" contacted me under the account "David J" to let me know that they fired Amanda, the one person at Stretchlab who treated me well. They wrote: -- "Amanda has been terminated. Hopefully this resolves your issue & you will remove your review. Best regards, Stretchlab" -- in direct message to me. This is clearly misdirected retaliatory action against Amanda, whose misdeed was treating me with decency and respect. That's how malevolent these people are. How much lower can you get? I'm a regular at StretchLab MV, and I recommend it highly! I've been a regular since it opened in 2019, and I'm consistently happy with the stretches, the staff and the value. I started coming to help me take better care of my back and prevent injury, but I've become a consistent fan for reasons beyond that. My muscles get stretched safely and well beyond what I could do on my own, and as a result I can move more freely and comfortably throughout the week. My stretches also supplement my other exercise beautifully and even release stored tension from various parts of my body. And the team tends to my needs in a positive, personal way. The flexologists are skilled and personable. They know their stuff, remember how my muscles typically respond, and adjust accordingly. I look forward to my sessions, and I consistently feel healthier and happier afterwards. The regional manager is also exceptionally good. He sets a great tone for the studio, values the team and the clients, and ensures the client experience is not just about helpful and safe stretches but also a positive personal experience. The front desk staff is also terrific - consistently warm, helpful and accommodating, easily handling both drop-ins and regular appointments. They're genuinely interested in providing an excellent overall experience. The studio is also clean, sanitized and comfortable, and has convenient parking. Based on my experience, I recommend the weekly membership for most people. I find that getting stretched regularly and developing relationships with the staff gives me the best value. In sum, StretchLab MV provides a unique and helpful service (1-on-1 assisted stretching) in a personal way for a good price. I started Stretch Lab a few weeks ago and I feel great! I wasn't sure what was going to happen and I was a little apprehensive at first. But I am so glad I joined. I actually have improved my posture, I walk taller! I have more energy and believe it or not I feel like a more positive person. The staff at Stretch are so positive and welcoming. I must admit, I was a little skeptical before I got started, but I was sold after my first visit. With an exercise physiology background myself, I was concerned about the knowledge and qualifications of the staff. But my Flexologist, Ali C., has a Kinesiology degree and a total understanding of the human body movements, so that puts me at ease. I exercise quite a bit but sit a lot for my day job, so I don't stretch enough so my muscles become very tight. These resisted stretches triggering the muscle spindles help my body to recover quicker! I can't speak about other staff there, but I recommend Ali C. if you are going to give this a try! read more

I'm so happy with the stretch lab in Mountain View California. The employees are so genuine and kind. I'm 62 years old and experiencing a lot of stiffness and pain. Given Covid times this company had to basically shut down before they were open so I wish people would be a bit kinder in regards to their reviews about bad customer service when they probably weren't able to legally operate. BEWARE! Poorly strained staff caused injury. Pushy sales tactics. I rarely leave negative reviews (bad karma), but my doctor asked me to leave a review to save someone else from an injury. During my visit last week the employee pushed so hard on my shoulder there was a loud pop (he said "oh, I must have pushed too hard") and the whole left side of my body locked up. I've been in excruciating pain for the 10 days since, missed several days of work, and had to spend time/money on several doctor's visits and now ongoing physical therapy. I shared my experience with the owner expecting an apology/a refund/a promise to look into staff training and she offered..... a free stretch. No thanks. The best part? At the end of that session (after the loud pop!), the employee walked me over to the front desk to do the coordinated "hard sell" telling me I "needed" stretching 3 times per week and should sign up for their most expensive monthly package to "take care of myself." Again, I hate leaving negative reviews as I know most people are doing their best, but this place is dangerous and much more focused on pushing sales than training their staff to avoid causing long term damage. I ended up settling in with Darryl (they were all good but he was best for me being stronger) and I book regular. Kevin is my tech he listened to me and was truly caring about my areas that need to be stretched. Kevin is professional and is very knowledgeable. Terrible start and terrible customer service at this place. My wife and I showed up to our 10 AM apt at 9:50, waited 20 minutes and then the person (who appeared to be the manager in charge) came to tell us that they have been trying to contact us to reschedule and our apt was only for 1 person at this time. After we left very upset, the manager (the real one apparently) called me to apologize and explain that a person didn't show up to work and they were short on staff. My review here is to make these points clear: 1. If you are short on staff, apologize to the customer and explain the situation honestly. Don't approach the problem by first blaming the customer for not responding to your calls, especially when this is clearly a lie and those calls never took place 2. Again, if you are short on staff, you need to be fair and take care of the people who showed up first. Other people who showed much later than us were taken care off, simply because they were more vocal. This is a place that had a terrible start on day 1, and I will never visit again. This review is for the management, not the people that do the stretches. The flexologists do their job, but the company is out there to get your money unfairly. After pre-paying for 16 sessions, unexpectedly I was charged a "walk-in fee" because I was out of credit. On my count, I did not use all my stretches, on their count, I lost one credit due to a late cancellation (I had to cancel due to the massive flooding in California). It is ok for a company to be strict in their policy of cancellation, which is NEVER a good customer experience, but at least, I should have been told in advance that this session would be "a la carte". The person I had to deal with was very confrontational. He even said that he would have sent the bill to "collection". What a moron! Be aware of the scammy policies around memberships and credits, it is difficult to cancel and you lose credits at their sole discretion. This review is long overdue. Like so many, I have been working from home since COVID and quickly realized I move a lot less at home than in the office. I'm definitely more productive working from home, mostly because there's less reason to leave my desk, but my body has not appreciated the change. I had previous experience with assisted stretching from a personal trainer and was hopeful when I happened upon StretchLab. I have not been disappointed. I've been a consistent client for all of 2022 and don't foresee that changing anytime soon. I missed a few consecutive weeks and noticed the difference. If you're working from home and like me find yourself stuck at your desk 8-12 hrs a day, I highly recommend trying StretchLab, specifically Mountain View StretchLab. I have had nothing but positive interactions with all of their staff.
