Bottom line. They charged me $698.72. The average to have the work done at a dealer or independent shops runs about $417.88. Math says i was easily overcharged $280.84 at Mobile Medics !! The part cost $150.00 at the dealership not $257.66. 'Shop Rates' (labor) are $170.00 not $260.00. They charged me $15.00 for 'shop supplies. What shop supplies did they use ? They charged me $15.00 for 'EPA/waste removal.. I took the old part home with me ! Sub total was $647.66!! if i paid cash it would have been $659.17. $12.00 more if I paid cash ? if I paid with a CC it was $698.72. $51.00 more if i used a credit card?! That doesn't even make sense!! They never offered a senior discount when I was at the counter to pay. The never offered a Veterans discount when I was at the counter to pay. Good business practices say all the above was wrong.

The day I made the appointment I got switched over to the parts department and ordered the part. I confirmed with parts department that it would arrive intime for the install on the 4th. On the date of the appointment, which was confirmed by your text, i had to cancell due to my wife's illness. I call back to reschedule the appointment ASAP. Had to leave a request for call back. I received a voice msg later that day. I find part was never ordered due to me have to prove the Duramax is mine and the part was not and will not be ordered until I personally bring drivers license and proof of ownership of the vehicle. Really? Do you think it might me a good idea to let me know this from the very beginning. Like when the parts clerk talked to me. Or maybe when he found out that he couldn't order it with proper owner proof. It is a good thing that I didn't drive up 20 miles on the 4th just find out you never ordered the part. I would been highly angered. So now I'm going to drive to Horne today to make sure the part is ordered. Not cool at all.

It has…read more2 wheels, 4 lug with a spacing of 125mm between lugs and a hub centric of 5", the gentlemen called my trailer a unicorn lol. They did not have a rim that would work, so I'm looking else where. BUT, there is no reason not to tell about my experience. I would recommend, and I do plan to go back again, but here is why: Even though they did not have my rim, or get my rim, the man came out happily to measure my lugs and rim, another gentleman came out by the first ones request to re-examine my wheels in hopes he could help... no did not toss me off to someone else, got someone else to help us, to help me! Looked at a wheel I had bought else where, measured and explained the differences, so I know I can't use it safely (as I would have bought a spacer and wasted my money!). So even though, they could not sell me something, they went the extra extra mile trying to help me find a solution... So I recommend, and I will go back, this is my second experience and both have been exceptional. By the way, this is the lakeside store, I've never been to any other location only recent realized this was like some kind of chain, cause that is not the way it feels coming here, it doesn't feel like a Discount Tire, which I won't buy from.
