When we got on the highway for our trip, I realized something was wrong with the engine and pulled over. After further inspection, the engine air filter container was wide open and no air filter was even inside. After driving back into town to Jiffy Lube, the staff was kind and replaced the air filter, but after saying they'd get the manager for me, he never spoke to me once or apologized for the situation. This is also the same man who told my wife that we needed to check our "blinker fluids" on a previous trip she made on her own as well. The utter disrespect this manager has for his customers to play a funny "prank" as well as lack the responsibility to even apologize for an unacceptable and dangerous mistake is appalling. I will not return to Jiffy Lube in Show Low and advise others to be cautious enough to double check the work done at this location, as it seems unfortunately necessary.

The part cost $150.00 at the dealership not $257.66. 'Shop Rates' (labor) are $170.00 not $260.00. They charged me $15.00 for 'shop supplies. What shop supplies did they use ? They charged me $15.00 for 'EPA/waste removal.. I took the old part home with me ! Sub total was $647.66!! if i paid cash it would have been $659.17. $12.00 more if I paid cash ? if I paid with a CC it was $698.72. $51.00 more if i used a credit card?! That doesn't even make sense!! They never offered a senior discount when I was at the counter to pay. The never offered a Veterans discount when I was at the counter to pay. Good business practices say all the above was wrong.

I don't remember if it was quite two decades of experience he had working for international mechanic before he opened his shop, but it was quite a few years to be sure. Shawn is a friendly owner operator of the shop who specializes in big truck diesel engine repair. This isn't the shop to bring your Prius for new batteries, but if you have a big truck with a diesel engine this could be the guy for you. I have found Sean to be far more friendly and honest than dealing with most of the dealers in the area. When it comes to getting things done the only bummer can be that since he's only a two man shop he can get a little bit behind it it might take a little while to get your vehicle done, but it's probably worth the wait since I don't think he's actually trying to rip anybody off. Stop by and give Shawn a try, it will definitely be better than most of the other shops in the area.
