Do NOT go to this Jiffy Lube. My engine on 2019 Toyota blew out after their "oil change". As you can see from reviews, multiple issues where their employees did not fully replace parts. I believe the oil cap was left off, questionable whether oil was even done correctly. Manager indicates there have been lots of problems on multiple cars and the two techs on our car no longer there. Yet leaves me with nothing except thousands and thousands to fix my car. These kids there have no idea what they are doing. read more

My wife went to Jiffy Lube for an oil change in preparation for a trip down to Phoenix the upcoming weekend. When we got on the highway for our trip, I realized something was wrong with the engine and pulled over. After further inspection, the engine air filter container was wide open and no air filter was even inside. After driving back into town to Jiffy Lube, the staff was kind and replaced the air filter, but after saying they'd get the manager for me, he never spoke to me once or apologized for the situation. This is also the same man who told my wife that we needed to check our "blinker fluids" on a previous trip she made on her own as well. The utter disrespect this manager has for his customers to play a funny "prank" as well as lack the responsibility to even apologize for an unacceptable and dangerous mistake is appalling. I will not return to Jiffy Lube in Show Low and advise others to be cautious enough to double check the work done at this location, as it seems unfortunately necessary. read more

I gave a 5 star review yesterday after receiving great customer service. 24 hours later I am sitting in the parking lot of the post office in Pinetop broken down after my "low oil pressure" warning light came on. There is a puddle of oil underneath my vehicle, oil on top of my engine, and the lovely smell of burning oil. I called the location and spoke with the manager who asked if I wanted to bring the vehicle back in to which I replied "I have no oil in my engine." I was told that once the general manager returned from getting something to drink at McDonald's that someone would come to me with oil. I inquired about potential damage to my engine and was told they would "assess that" and also a refund which fell on deaf ears. Been over 1.5 hours since I first called, I am literally 15 minutes from their location. Was told the general manager was on his way with oil. He never showed up. When I called back they said he couldn't find me! I am the only vehicle in the parking lot of the only post office in Lakeside...and my hood is up! Was then told he didn't have enough gas to come back, the manager didn't have his vehicle today, so a technician would be coming. The general manager absolutely refused to issue a refund only that they would "re-service" the vehicle. read more

Took my wife's Sequoia in for an oil change and tire rotation. Service started fine, but then the upselling began. They said the coolant was low and wanted $6 to top it off -- something that should be included. Then they claimed both air filters needed replacing (they didn't). Next, they told me the brakes were down to 2mm and needed new pads and rotors since they "don't have a lathe." When I checked myself, the rears were 8mm and fronts 6mm -- plenty of life left. New is at 12mm This kind of dishonest upselling is exactly why this Jiffy Lube has a 2.5-star rating. I wouldn't send my wife here again -- or direct anyone else's family to this shop read more

I came in a couple months ago to get a oil change.. They accidentally sprayed oil all over my car all over my engine windshield everywhere. Jiffy lube sent me a gift certificate in the mail to make up for the cost of cleanup. Before I was even able to spend the $200 gift card i came in for another oil change today and they broke my key off my fob. No big deal but the manager blamed me for it. Didn't apologize at all, didn't cover my oil change nothing. It came time to pay, I pulled out my gift certificate that was sent to me from jiffy lube thru the mail. He said i couldn't use my gift certificate it was only a one time use. Which wasn't true at all I have the email from corporate saying they are sorry and they were sending me a gift card. The manager was so rude he raised his voice and said he didn't work here then so he didn't have to except the gift card which is crazy. They broke my key and instead of apologizing fir it and making it right. He went ahead and made it way way worse. These people are not professional at all. I made an appointment in Show Low at the jiffy Lube for an oil change. Since I work in heber this location was convenient. Everything seemed normal as I checked out. There seemed to be no rush. The store was not packed with customers at all was about 5:16 when I arrived. They did the simple oil change, I drove to a Starbucks near by and when I was trying to accelerate my car was making a weird noise and an odd pull in my engine as I was accelerating. I drove back and the guy that worked there took my car for a "test drive" came back and said something is wrong. They mess with my car for a bit until one of them told me they weren't real mechanics, i decided to drive a few miles to a friends house in lakeside and leave the car there. They were insisting that was the oil transmission that was low. They also told me they could helped me but i have to sing a waiver I said no, they definitely did something wrong to my car I think they drained the oil transmission and not they regular oil. My car wasn't going to make it back to heber. My car was perfectly fine. No one needs to go to the Jiffy Lube in Show Low. DO NOT GO THERE. read more

After doing a full synthetic oil changed in my truck, their staff forgot to properly reattach my skid plate. So I drove home, not knowing that the skid plate was dragging on the highway. When I appear the next day to have the shock absorbers installed.(per their estimate), I showed the manager what the truck looks like under the cab. Manager completely denied that they were responsible for that. Funny thing is that when I went to speak to Ford motor company service about this, the service technician clearly stated that in order to do an oil change on my truck, the skid plate has to be removed in order to gain access to the oil filter. Since no one at Jiffy Lube mentioned that there was a problem with the skid plate when I arrived at their facility, and no one indicated there was a problem with the skid plate when I left the Jiffy Lube location and drove straight home, the skid plate had to have come off sometime between leaving Jiffy Lube on January 2 and returning to Jiffy Lube on January 3 to have the shock absorbers installed. I showed the manager what happened and he completely absorbed him and his staff for any responsibility for the skid plate being in the condition it was. And seeing that I was going nowhere with this knucklehead., I told him that I was gonna let my attorney handle this issue. It was then that the manager became really assertive and said OK we're not going to install the shock, absorbers, even though we gave you an estimate yesterday the cost to install the shock absorbers. He also demanded that I leave the property immediately I called the police department. Please officer spoke with me and spoke with manager. The manager wanted me to leave. I told him I was not gonna drive my truck on the road with the skid plate dragging on the pavement. The manager finally relented and removed the skid plate, but did not give me any of the hardware. I also learned from the people that Ford motor company. The Jiffy Lube is not the kind of company you want to take your trucks to four oil changes. Why? One of the Ford reps told me that as of today they had a truck having the engine replaced at Ford because of what Jiffy Lube had done to screw up the engine. So, in summary, not only did the Jiffy Lube personnel fail to properly reattach the skid plate , they will not honor the estimate they provided me with to have the shock absorbers. So they make a promise come and then don't keep it. Horse yet, they gave me a laughable price to replace six spark plugs for $395.93!!!!!! Can you believe it! Almost $400 to change 6 spark plugs. This JL location in Show Low, AZ sucks! When you drive by their slip in the middle finger. They deserve it. read more

They broke my dipstick tube and as is typical for places like this, they denied and lied about it. it was only a $20 part and took 10 minutes to replace. second they they didn't tighten my oil filter. I drove across the country leaking oil. luckily it didn't fall off. I noticed it the first time when I parked for 4 hours and had a huge puddle under the car. at that time I wasn't sure if it was coming from the broken dipstick tube. it was resolved when I went to my sons service center and the guy popped up and said," Rookie mistake, they didn't tighten the oil filter. I had them do another oil change as the oil was really dark already. questionable as to whether it was changed. read more

The best oil change service I have ever encountered. They were perfect. That small town mentality and charm also goes a long way. Also, the fact that I had my charming Grandfather with me made it even better. I needed an oil change before I headed home from my road trip. My Grandpa takes his vehicles here and at first they didn't recognize him sitting in my passenger seat. They kept wanting me to get out of the car but I didn't want to. I got out anyway and took some photos. When they finally drove it in I was able to get in. In the waiting area they have sodas and popcorn available for everyone to enjoy. They are so awesome because my Grandpa had a knee replacement and instead of him having to get out, they bring him a bag of popcorn and a glass of soda. They are so awesome! This is also the cheapest oil change I have ever gotten on this car, even before the coupon we had. The manager is awesome and runs a great ship. Everything was going great until he dumped oil all over the engine brand new truck with 9000 miles

I have done on my own all the oil changes on my jeep for the last 5 years & never had a problem. We were visiting Pinetop & needed the oil changed in the Jeep. I went to Jiffy Lube in Show Low. It took almost 2 hours because the tech couldn't get the drain plug to quit leaking. Their excuse was because there was a piece of weld not letting the plug seat. When I got home I crawled under the Jeep & looked, the plug is cross threaded. It wasn't like that when I brought it in. They put silicone on the high side of the plug to stop the leak which didn't hold.. When the oil filter was changed they let the oil run down onto the skid plate & now there's oil everywhere. When it was lubed more than 1/2 of the grease fittings were missed. They pumped so much grease in the rear drive shaft spline that it popped the grease seal. After the air filter was inspected & reinstalled only 2 of the 4 clips were fastened. I was told that they couldn't stop the leak because it needs a new oil pan. They also have a "F" rating with the BBB. . read more

Well as before they managed to F it up got oil all over the white paint put water in the wiper tank so it will freeze tonite like the other van that busted the water line &leaked all inside the van They do not listen to what I tell them and they just are very very unqualified to be doing what they do they need to go back to flipping burgers and not working on expensive vehicles read more

(KEEP IN MIND MY OIL CHANGE FOR MY CAR IS $125 DOLLARS)!When I went there the kid that drove it in first off DID NOT know how to drive a stick shift car (which I think is required to work there). He proceeded to stall it out then reved it super high and dropped the clutch and the car went ramping over their ramps, and almost smashed the bottom of my car. That's when I should have said pull it out I'll do the oil change myself but I didn't. And not only that but when they were changing my oil they were just messing around and not being professional at all. Well a month later on December 27, I went to go hang out with my friends and when I left they noticed a huge puddle of oil on the ground. Weird huh. After further inspection it was coming from where the oil filter canister was located. Well I thought maybe it came loose. So I drove it to the parts store to buy stuff to tighten it. I tightened it no luck still was leaking oil all over the ground when the car was running. So I left it in town and the next day I got it up on ramps and took the oil filter canister off. Well come to find out looks like these so called "techs" didn't replace my oil filter canister gasket!!!! I was pissed. And how do I know that they didn't? Well I put a new filter and gasket in and what do you know no more leaking. PLUS IF THEY DID CHANGE IT, IT WOULDNT HAVE LEAKED AT ALL. **OBVIOUSLY THE OLD GASKET HELD TO A POINT TO WHERE IT STARTED TO WEAR DOWN AND LEAK**. These guys in the show low jiffy lube are very unprofessional and they are wanna be mechanics. I've gone to this jiffy lube for years and I've only had one problem before on my truck with the oil filter being loose. But I gave them a second chance. And well these "techs" don't have common sense and didn't replace the gasket, that come in the filters box! They almost costed me a motor!!!! Absolutely ridiculous! So I proceeded to call the store and talk to the assistant manger Patrick. Had my few choice words with him after he proceeded to keep talking over me and not listening to what I had to say. After I hung up he called back and said "I will check the cameras and see if they changed the gasket" and " if you bring it in today I can give you a free oil change and check up" he said this as I told him the car was in the shop to get some other maintenance done and to make sure I fixed the problem, because there was still little drops of oil dripping from it. I proceeded to say I'll let you know what the shop says. Shop calls me and says yes you did fix the problem, the left over oil was from it shooting out all over my motor because of the gasket not being replaced. So after I picked the car up I called Patrick from jiffy lube back. I proceeded to tell him hey I fixed your "techs" mistake. I also said "have you checked the cameras to see if your "techs" changed the gasket". He said " I don't have access to the cameras". Are you serious? So your telling me you said you would check them and you don't even have access to them? Really? I left it alone. Then Patrick proceeds to tell me "well take down my name and I'll use my employee discount Next time you come in. It'll take 50% off". Really?? What happened to the free oil changed you offered me not even an hour ago? Well I proceeded to tell him "don't worry about it I will NEVER EVER EVER go back the show low jiffy lube ever again. If you go there check your oil, oil filter, and drain plug BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE PARKING LOT. These people they hire are completely unprofessional and call them selves "techs" or "mechanics". I have not been impressed with this particular Jiffy Lube location in the past. I took my car in yesterday (9/1/18) and was impressed with my entire experience. Jacob took great care of our car. He was very informative and did not seem pushy but clearly explained all that his store could offer. I will be returning for sure when I need brakes or battery service. The lobby was clean and comfortable and I was in and out in a very timely manner. I was so impressed I returned an hour later to have my wife's car serviced as well. I brought my truck in to be serviced. I told them to spare no expense. They never checked my differentials, even though the said they did. After driving away, I started to hear some noise, took it back they said there was nothing wrong. I drove it for a couple of days. The noise continued. I took my truck to another repair facility They explained that the front differential was so low that the bearings were burnt. $2000 repair that could have been avoided if they did what they said they had. When I contacted them, they admitted to not checking any fluids. They offered me a free oil change, but refused to share in the costs of repairs caused by their incompetence, and dishonesty. I would stay away from this shop. They were either dishonest, or incompetent. Either way Im out 2k, and neither is acceptable. read more

$1,580.00 OIL CHANGE On January 2016 I took my truck into Jiffy Lube in Show Low to have the oil changed. Two days later I drove my truck to Phoenix and parked it. Upon my return I found a puddle of oil under the truck. I found that the drain plug had been stripped. The manager of the Show Low Jiffy lube (Shane) arranged for another store to come and add enough oil to the truck to get it to a store in the valley. They put a temporary plug in the drain pan and added oil so I could get back to Show Low (This cost me $65). This is where things went wrong. Jiffy lube elected to change the drain pan themselves which resulted in an inoperable oil pump and a destroyed engine. When I contacted Shane he told me that they owed me a new engine. The truck was dollied to a local mechanic and while in transit it fell off the dolly and caused $180 worth of damage to the door of the truck. Shane assured me that it would be fixed at there expense. Jiffy Lube then tried to get me to accept a used damaged engine which they had found somewhere and had shipped to the mechanic. This was refused and I demanded a rebuilt engine with a warranty. They finally relented and arranged for a rebuilt engine but refused to pay the additional $250 worth of parts and supplies. I soon found that the rebuilt engine that they had arranged for was not available and my only option was to have mine rebuilt. The final price to get the truck fixed was $4400. They agreed to pay me $3000 and nothing more. I thought about suing them but my wife came down with ovarian cancer and so I agreed to this amount so I could concentrate on getting her well. During the first few weeks they did provide a rental car but I had to rent a truck for a day as the car was to small for the job I had to do which cost me an additional $120. So my oil change ended up costing me $1.580.00. read more

We use Jiffy Lube every at least 3 times a year as well as Big O tire for oil changes. The last two visits my husband has asked for an oil change and tire check only, both times we see them trying to pull out the air filter and my husband goes out to correct them. Also we have not received a window sticker since we took it to Big O in January, which seems like a small thing but it helps keep me on track with timing for changes. Last week we went in on Thursday and had to wait an hour and a half and when I got in the car I noticed a gouge in the leather on the driver side which had to occur there because we just had the panel replaced the week before. An employee there said they have to carry a tool belt now so it was very possible a tool was the cause. The Jiffy Lube Asst. Manager has agreed to pay to replace it, so fingers crossed they follow through! read more

They tighten the Oil Drain Bolt too tight it ended up stripping. They used the WRONG oil filter on a V8 truck was 2 times smaller than the original. And how they made that mistake is beyond me. They didn't put in 7 Qts of oil but only 5 qts. I wouldn't recommend this location at all. read more

The manager walked up to my car at 8:20 a.m. and said "how can we help you"?... I was very frustrated because I'd just paid $190 for 2 new belts with an odd name in Tucson last week. The engine was squealing loudly and frankly, I was about to do the same! Then the Manager (whose name I unfortunately failed to get...) had an employee walk me to the `waiting room and offered coffee and was very polite. 20 minutes later I was out of there - with no charge because they had only had to tighten some belts a bit that probably should have been done elsewhere. This was all done with a smile and I want them to know I appreciated the expertise, friendliness AND condition of the location. I was there long enough to look around a bit. Very nice. Total ripoff. They told me my car needed antifreeze for a $5 charge, a service I declined. Checked it this AM: fine. According to their bill they filled windshield washer reservoir. It was empty. They also supposedly checked tires and reported 34 psi per tire. This AM all tires measured less than 30 psi. I now wonder if they really changed the oil and filter. read more
