My wife started semi-private training sessions last year and convinced me to start in February this year. I'm in my mid-fifties and never regularly exercised, was overweight, and had horrible balance. While the workouts are tough, I won't deny that, the results are undeniable and so worth it. Doug's specialty is pushing you to do more than you thought you could do and Tori rocks at keeping your form effective and giving you positive energy and encouragement. I only wish I had started going to The Body Firm years ago. Do yourself a good health favor and go see Doug, Tori and their team.

Lots of space. They provide props and blankets. They have a nice bathroom/dressing room. I enjoyed the hot yoga but they do offer other classes I will check out. I tried the Radiant HOT26 Chillax class with Jeff. I'm not exactly sure what the class description was, but I wouldn't quite call it a yoga class. It felt more like a special kind of stretching class. It was different from what I was expecting, but for the most part I still enjoyed it. The room was heated, which was great, and they had a warmer side and hotter side. Jeff was VERY helpful and offered up slight adjustments to everyone to really hit the poses as accurately as possible. Jeff did not practice at the front of the room with us, but mostly walked around and gave instruction. Some of the instruction was unclear, or phrased differently and there were a few times where it would have been helpful to look up and see an instructor in the pose. At one point, a man walked up to the window and was just staring in at us for at least 5 minutes. It was very uncomfortable. I asked Jeff if we could close the curtains and he immediately agreed and apologized saying that that usually doesn't happen. I really appreciated that! I will be back to take a few more classes with my new student pass. Definitely give this place a try if you're looking for a studio!

All the instructors I've met have been friendly and there's various sessions throughout the day. It's all about controlled movements in a high intensity, low impact class that works the entire body. The studio is tucked on the second story of a breakfast cafe and they do require grip socks (available for purchase if you forget). There's only 10 reformers so classes can fill up and the stairs going down are sometimes killer after the workout. It's one of the few Lagree studios in the east valley (seems like most are in Scottsdale) and the location's convenient right after the I-10 and Ray.

There was parking available and lots of cardio machines available. They have TVs with closed captioning for entertainment This location had an upstairs area which is different, and there were elevators available. Women's and men's locker rooms were available with lockers to use (you have to bring your own lock though) and they have grab and go beverages for purchase. I will definitely come back to this gym and recommend it to others.

I did take a look at a competitor closer to my house but I did not like their layout or atmosphere. I decided to sign back up and found the PF app extremely easy to navigate. I opted to purchase a year commitment vs month to month. Doing that waived the annual fee. For a clean, safe gym with updated equipment I spent well under $300- basic membership. Returning to a purposeful, structured workout routine with equipment I am unable to have at home will help with me meet and exceed my health and fitness goals. Very pleased so far!

Place is small. I would highly recommend trying it. Though be mindful, if you would like extra guidance to schedule it during a time there aren't any classes going on. The owner was friendly enough to make sure I was satisfied with my visit. I will be returning and bringing my bf with me. RLT is much needed for us and full body experience was totally worth it.

Erik's workouts are full of functional movement, mace work and breath work with light stretching at the end. Josh's workouts are energizing and definitely challenging, but so so so rewarding when you are done. Jaid's yoga classes are phenomenal and will leave you feeling such ease and serenity. Everyone who works out at this gym are so kind and warm. It is such an inviting environment to be in. This gym has absolutely become my second home. Between labor itself and carrying around a baby I had several areas of pain and a body that felt super out of balance. Ashly was so kind and knowledgeable. Her methods were gentle but worked very quickly. The first session the pain from the bicipital tendinitis I had been diagnosed with was gone. I really only needed one tune up session for it. My hips now feel so much better and lighter the post baby birthing pains have stopped. I am currently getting help from Ashly for my ankle that I severely rolled when I fell while holding a baby throwing a fit. I will be seeing Ashly just to keep my body together between working, being a mom and wife it needs some extra attention.
