I have been really wanting to try pilates--and I'm so glad I tried out this place. Our class was with Carolina and I loved her! Because each class is limited to only 11 women, you're able to see the instructor and the instructor can easily walk around and adjust your form when necessary. This was my first time trying mat pilates and it has been quite some time since I've worked out consistently. I mentioned that to Carolina just in case she saw me struggling the whole class (lol) and she was so kind and said that I don't need to perform and just do what I can and she'll be there to help correct my form if needed. It was a challenging class, but I felt invigorated after--both physically and mentally. I was also so sore the next couple days and was thankful for the reminder that I had a great workout and great teacher!

This workout flew in time! I was definitely already breaking a sweat halfway through. The instruction videos were very clear and the routines rotate. It's advertise as for beginners through expert, however, I think it's more intermediate to expert. The layout is very tight and there is 2 people to a station. I think this is important to note as one may like their space when working out. A big plus to this is how it's family/veteran operated. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about 9 Rounds style of exercise. Facility was very clean. There is locker/cubby space for belongings and a filtered water fountain. I enjoyed my time at 9Round and would recommend so those that are looking to change up their current routine for a more high-impact, cardio pumping exercise!

A great release from a stressful work week. The Yelp staff were so organized and motivating as were the kickboxing staff. The only thing that made me anxious was how sanitary were the gloves. All I can tell you is if my hands got sweaty, I'm sure other folks did too. Didn't see any hand sanitizer available. Doesn't mean it wasn't there I just didn't see any. But aside from that it was a really great workout. They had an awesome DJ and light snacks afterwards. Thanks Yelp for those very convenient sweat towels because I really needed it. I informed the person at the front desk as I checked in. The instructor Mel introduced herself and provided me a brief tour of the reformer machine. Through out the class she helped me with spring changes for the reformer. The one issue I came across was with the studio mirrors. They have individual mirrors instead of full wall mirrors and if you sit at the end you may have trouble viewing yourself to check your posture. I would recommend sitting the middle.

But the class before us got out late. Bc of this, we had to stand outside and wait for the class to end which was 10 min after our class was supposed to start. During class the instructor seemed distracted and less than enthusiastic. I saw her on her phone while instructing the class multiple times. She was not encouraging or super helpful with all of the equipment even though she knew it was our first class. Along with this, she made it very clear to the rest of class that it was my sister and I's first class and was saying things like "you might want to do this bc it's your first class" "you might not be strong enough for this" while her mic was on. Which is absurd when you are instructing a fitness class. After class was finished the instructor did not seem interested in us at all. She didn't say bye to us or help clean up.

My wife has been going to Core Body Pilates for about six months and her body has completely…read moretransformed; she looks incredible, has more confidence and really enjoys the classes. She motivated me to get back in shape so I started working out about three months after her. She asked me to go with her to Pilates a few times and I wasn't really interested. Probably because I didn't think it's a guy thing, didn't want to be the only guy in class and enjoyed my workouts. I decided to go to a class with my wife and I was shocked. I got a great workout, was sore for about two days, had fun working out together and now I'm hooked. Elena, the instructor is awesome. If you're going to try this, find a class she's teaching because she's the best. She's very personable, helpful, challenges you, teaches you and makes the class fun. I was a professional hockey instructor for fifteen years and felt like I had pretty good agility, balance and muscle strength but it was put to the test (in a good way) in her class. I have an ongoing shoulder and knee injury that prevent me from doing some traditional weight lifting but I've been able to make strength gains in this class thanks to Elena. You will gain upper body, lower body and core strength in addition to agility, balance and flexibility. I think the best part is you'll be smiling the whole time you're sweating and you'll feel it for a few days after each class. There are a lot of ladies in the class and a few guys but everyone is working to hard to pay attention to anyone else and they're all very welcoming. Guys...if your wife or girlfriend ask you to join them, I highly recommend checking it out; just make sure it's a class Elena is teaching!
