I LOVE the workouts, every instructor a Has introduced themselves to me and the community of women who attend is so close knit that many of the women have recognized that I am new, introduced themselves and helped me find and set up my workout spaces in the group classes. I'm enjoying caring for myself and teaching my 4 daughters that using your body and becoming stronger is a form of fun and play, not the diet culture rhetoric of thinking thin.

The instructor is always pacing around to make sure each client is doing okay. Questions are encouraged and having fun is a must. No matter your age or level of fitness, there's a Pilates class that will work for you. They also offer 1:1 classes as well. Fusion classes are offered which puts a different twist on the class. They offer fast cardio, barre and TRX in some of the classes along with using the reformer. Pilates is the path to a fuller, more satisfying physical existence. She motivated me to get back in shape so I started working out about three months after her. She asked me to go with her to Pilates a few times and I wasn't really interested. Probably because I didn't think it's a guy thing, didn't want to be the only guy in class and enjoyed my workouts. I decided to go to a class with my wife and I was shocked. I got a great workout, was sore for about two days, had fun working out together and now I'm hooked. Elena, the instructor is awesome. If you're going to try this, find a class she's teaching because she's the best. She's very personable, helpful, challenges you, teaches you and makes the class fun. I was a professional hockey instructor for fifteen years and felt like I had pretty good agility, balance and muscle strength but it was put to the test (in a good way) in her class. I have an ongoing shoulder and knee injury that prevent me from doing some traditional weight lifting but I've been able to make strength gains in this class thanks to Elena. You will gain upper body, lower body and core strength in addition to agility, balance and flexibility. I think the best part is you'll be smiling the whole time you're sweating and you'll feel it for a few days after each class. There are a lot of ladies in the class and a few guys but everyone is working to hard to pay attention to anyone else and they're all very welcoming. Guys...if your wife or girlfriend ask you to join them, I highly recommend checking it out; just make sure it's a class Elena is teaching!

But the class before us got out late. Bc of this, we had to stand outside and wait for the class to end which was 10 min after our class was supposed to start. During class the instructor seemed distracted and less than enthusiastic. I saw her on her phone while instructing the class multiple times. She was not encouraging or super helpful with all of the equipment even though she knew it was our first class. Along with this, she made it very clear to the rest of class that it was my sister and I's first class and was saying things like "you might want to do this bc it's your first class" "you might not be strong enough for this" while her mic was on. Which is absurd when you are instructing a fitness class. After class was finished the instructor did not seem interested in us at all. She didn't say bye to us or help clean up.
