Talk about heavyyyyyyy iced creammmmm.. not for my taste, perhaps for someone else. You will get a good amount for a reasonable price though, I got a size small and was quite full afterwards. If I could rate this place based solely on customer service, I would give it a 5!! I loved our cashier, she was the sweetest person and happy to be there.

They are a very responsive food truck team, that definitely has their stuff together. I was able to communicate with them my extreme desire to taste their desserts and by golly they made it happen with the quickness. My go to so far has been the brownie sundae which is "like that"! I haven't had a chance to try the others but I think it's probably hitting. Street Cream you have my approval. I can't wait for the weather to warm up.

Vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup and Oreos!

You scream, I scream, hit the streets, and grab yo' spoon! Discovering food trucks is the best thing to happen to me in 2013 so far. My one year anniversary comes in a close second. After checking food truck fiesta, and seeing "Street Cream," I had to bite. The first thing I noticed, was the ice cream flavors have their regular names, and then their street names. So, vanilla ice cream aka nilla ice struck my fancy. The prices are super cheap, and the first two toppings are free (with plenty to choose from). I opted for a medium nilla ice with chocolate syrup and crushed cookies for $3.50. This was bigger than the "love it" size at Coldstone. Plus, it comes with the cutest spoon. The best part has to be the flavor! This is some high quality ice cream. The chocolate syrup was good, and they gave me a heaping of cookies. The good kind. Honestly, I liked this better than coldstone, and I love coldstone! The truck is fun, and the two gals working were super nice and friendly. I'm a fan!

All their items are made-from-scratch, and the menu seems to rotate occasionally. I love how it is simplified where you choose a $10 or a $15 main, which both options come with 2 sides of your choice, wheat or white toast, and a small canned juice. We ordered: +the Shrimp & Grits - the grits were the best grits I've ever had - they were thick, creamy, cheesy, and seasoned perfectly! I'd probably order this dish again, without the sausage, and opt for more cheesy grits as my 2 sides to load it up! +the Cheesecake Stuffed Peach Cobbler French Toast - this wasn't as overly sweet as I thought it would be, which was great; I think we'd go for the simple French Toast or the pancakes next time, though +Old Bay Maple Breakfast Potatoes - the Old Bay seasoning was subtle, and these large chunks of breakfast potatoes were more on the sweeter end +Scrambled Eggs +Turkey Sausage Link +Turkey Sausage Patty +pineapple and cranberry juice I noticed that the cranberry juice had expired, but it was easy to replace it with another drink of choice. Staff were friendly, but note that depending on the queue, you may wait for some time for your food, as it's all made-to-order; we waited for ours for about 12 minutes or so, and everything came piping hot! The portions are extremely generous and can feed at least 2 people or be split into 2 meals. Note that there are small little ordering cards to place your orders through; hand them to the staff, and they'll give you an estimated wait time. Most seem to get their items to go, as this is a food truck and there is no seating area. I'd be curious to try out any other additions they may add to their menu in the future, but I would definitely come back for those grits! +delicious grits! +friendly staff! +food truck located on Pennsylvania, in front of the shopping center

A must! If you find yourself in SE Washington DC around breakfast/early afternoon Granny's Kitchen…read moreshould be a stop you make! Stopped here for breakfast and everything I had was bomb! First off the price you can't beat for what they call a "plate" you get a main, two sides, piece of toast, and a juice! They have 10$ and 15$ priced plates. I got two of the 15$ plates the salmon cake and the berry stuffed cheesecake French toast with the eggs and the old bay maple potatoes. The old bay maple potatoes!!!! So good! The salmon cake was the best I've ever had! Hearty in size. I also tried the new grits bowl they had on their menu. Grits, fried chicken, eggs, cheese, hash browns, and gravy ..tooo goood! Service was also great and timely had all my food in about 12 mins. The girl in the window was really nice and helpful. I will deff be back here! Highly recommended!

I got the pulled pork tacos and chicken tacos, and the meat was the main issue. It was a little dry and didn't have much flavor. With Korean-inspired food, I expected more savory depth, maybe some sweetness from a marinade, a little vinegar, sesame, or stronger grilled flavor. They have a big griddle, but the meat didn't really taste like it was cooked fresh on it. It felt more like the ingredients were assembled rather than cooked together into something cohesive. The tacos also didn't really read as Korean or Mexican to me, aside from the sauce. The individual ingredients seemed fine, but together they didn't have much punch. The "kimchi" was also disappointing. It tasted more like slaw with gochujang than actual fermented kimchi. Price was around $13 or $14 for three tacos, which is not shocking these days, but it felt a bit high for what it was. They do have a Tuesday special, I think around $9 for three tacos, which is probably the better time to try it. The atmosphere is also a little flat. Every time I've gone, it has felt pretty empty rather than bustling. Overall, it's not bad, and I still go because it's convenient, but I was hoping for more flavor and more of a clear Korean-Mexican identity.

Delicious (but spicy) food with a fusion twist - fun atmosphere (kids can play claw games while you…read morewait), and tons of flavor. I've been to TaKorean twice and both times I leave with a happy belly and a smile. Our go-to family favorites are the Avocado Fries, Birria Ramen, and Nori Tacos. The avocado fries are lightly breaded and dusted with a spicy powder - they're the perfect combination of crispy and creamy and come with a dipping sauce that has a bit of sweetness to it. If you can't handle spice, they can adjust it for you, but I absolutely love the Birria ramen which is a mixture of their plain ramen broth (not spicy) with their guajillo consomme (packs a nice kick). Disclaimer - the ramen has egg in it - which isn't mentioned on the menu, so just something to be aware of. I've had it twice and both times there was egg - which I didn't mind at all, but it was unexpected. My husband has tried the beef birria, bulgogi, nori, spicy fire, and crispy shrimp tacos, but his favorite is the nori which has a crispy seaweed shell and spicy tuna with avocado to cool it off. We've also tried the loaded buldak fries, shrimp burger, and beef bulgolgi bowl - all had great flavor, but my kids definitely can't take the heat - so we'll have to modify next time we come in.
