I went when he had the $10 specials so I ordered the croaker, seafood salad and crab eggroll. The fish was ok, could have used a bit more seasoning for my liking. The seafood salad was not short on shrimp but I didn't taste any crab, or perhaps it didn't come with any, but it was decent. The crab eggrolls were not my favorite. Whatever he mixed with the "crab" filling tasted really mushy!!! I don't believe he uses lump crab meat for them. I purchased a crab eggroll which they used at least 5 sheets of wonton wrapper to make. That's crazy to bite into hard dough. I scraped the insides out and put them on my crab fries (which were the best dish). The 4oz crab cake was soggy from sitting on top of the little hush puppies in the plastic container with all the condensation. The catfish nuggets were not of good quality (I was craving the catfish nuggets from Infuse which is closed now). I did see a video where the owner said some pieces came in small and some other products were sent back for quality control so maybe that was the case but idk this is my first time trying. Customer service was weird idk it's like ppl stopped getting basic training for greetings etc. Then they really pmo cuz they had the nerve to be blasting a pedo 2 stepping to R. Kelly while I'm still waiting for my food. This was the first stop in my Black Friday series today if you are following me on here lol (I was so upset I went to another Black owned biz that was no better in food quality). *UPDATE* In response to Vincent the biz owner: If u want the rest of the food back I have it, was going to donate it to less fortunate. Ok I've been seeing videos of this food truck. So today I decided to try it. I've been craving some good Crocker go a while. So me and my husband ordered the crab egg rolls, Crocker with shrimp and 2 rolls, catfish and crab fries. Ok the crab fries was really good 10/10. Catfish was really good nicely seasoned and crispy 10/10. Now my Crocker for some reason I wasn't really feeling it seemed like it wasn't seasoned enough like the catfish the shrimp just ok. Catfish and shrimp 4/10. The rolls were really good 10/10. Crab egg rolls I couldn't wait to try since they suppose to be the #1 seller I didn't really like first bite there was a lot of dough actually the whole egg roll. The crab meat wasn't seasoned like I thought. So I didn't finish it even dipped it in the sauce which was good. So crab egg roll 2/10. If I go back again I would only get the catfish, crab fries and rolls. I found this food truck at at the Shops at Waldorf center in Waldorf, MD by accident and I'm so glad I did as this was a surprise hidden gem for me. Prices for food range between 15 and 30 bucks and ordering is simple enough. You place your order at the window and you're given a buzzer that goes off when your food is ready. The place was a pop-up of food trucks in the parking lot so seating is in your car lol. There's was definitely plenty of parking at this location though. I ordered the crabcake box which comes with fried shrimp and hush puppies, along with an order of the crab fries, which comes with honey garlic wings and fried shrimp. Food takes about 20 minutes, but I don't mind waiting as long as the food is good, and the food was absolutely worth the wait! First can I say I appreciate an establishment that provides fried shrimp with the tails already off. I understand the presentation that comes with leaving the tails on fried shrimp, but honestly it's just extra work to remove the tails that I don't want to do so thank you to this man lol. Second, everything that I got from this truck was delicious. I highly recommend eating the food while it's hot so that everything is crispy. I opted to take my food home so the steam definitely got to my fries and wings, but that didn't even matter because the food was so good. The crab fries had plenty of crab meat on them. I am almost positive he took one of his regular size crabcakes and put an entire one on the fries. The honey garlic wings were absolutely incredible, but again I definitely recommend having them fresh when they're hot and crispy. In terms of his price point for food, I definitely felt like I got my moneys worth here in terms of portion size and flavor. I came here for lunch today because of the review I saw on Yelp. I got a fish&hush puppies plate, "The Dickies" plate and a crab cake platter and added 2 pieces of fish to it. I also got a side of mac&cheese and a side of string beans. The fish was good but the fried shrimp that came on the crab cake and dickies platters were phenomenal!!! The best I've ever had. The crab cake was just ok to me. I still think The Tender Rib has the best crab cakes in the DMV. The hush puppies were very good too. Definitely top 3 I've ever had. The string beans were so flavorful even my picky 1 year old was tearing them up...lol. The only thing I didn't like was the mac&cheese. It looked perfect and was so creamy but it had a wierd taste. My dad thought it tasted like it was made with spoiled milk. I'm sure we just got a bad batch but I wouldn't order it again to see. I was excited to try this place. My job CONTINUOUSLY schedules them to provide lunch. Let's start by saying it's DEFINITELY not worth the price. I paid 23.00 for one crab ball, 3 shrimps, and hush puppies. I am not a fan of hush puppies. I asked if could I substitute the cornbread balls for something else. The answer was no. Even after I said I was allergic to corn. I was asked to pay for another side. When I got my food I didn't have the hush puppies but I was still charged $23 for 3 SHRIMPs AND 1 CRAB BALL. I went back for the hush puppies. My bf tried them and said they were not soo good/ tasty. I got my food and was highlyyyyy disappointed. NEVER AGAIN.
