I've been coming here since they have opened and I love how they have the staff from the Pearlridge location. They need more specialist physicians at this location.

We were on vacation from California and visited this Urgent Care. Convenient location in the mall. They were efficient and got us in an hour before they closed. We were able to be seen and prescribed medication for our Daughter. The doctor and staff was very friendly.

My daughter isn't feeling well. Her school sent her home with a fever and she's congested and coughing. Getting her tested.

Okay so we came here because hubby's back has been in pain since Saturday and it was to the point where he couldn't get up out of bed without being in pain. He checked in up front without an appointment and had to fill out paperwork. He had issues with his insurance before and had a hard time getting medications. This time he changed the location to the pharmacy inside Safeway at Kunia location. He managed to get his meds with a little hesitancy because the pharmacist had to verify some code which took a little while. Once that was done, he got his meds and we left. The ladies were really nice and he managed to get in an hour and 45 minutes later. Waiting seemed like an eternity but they help people in the order they come in. The wait was long but my hubby finally got to see a doctor. She took her time asking hubby questions about his pain. I definitely liked how the doctor asked questions to make sure he didn't break any bones. I honestly don't understand why there's always an issue with the medicine. Then hubby goes to his job and apparently doesn't want him going to the urgent care under Straub. His job covers under somewhere else. Just so frustrating dealing with the insurance.

Larger area of waiting room with a TV and reading material.

I'm waiting for my daughter who is currently being seen in the urgent care center. The staff seems very personable and professional. She was seen in a very timely manner. The waiting room is very clean and quite spacious! I will edit my review after she gets out of her doctor visit.

If it's your kid that needs urgent care go somewhere else! Brought my 5 year old in with a swollen and itchy eye. They told me go to Kapiolani Children's hospital for neurological department. That eye problems are neurological. Are you telling me something's more wrong with my kid than I thought and my kid had a stroke or something like a stroke!?!?!? Thanks for giving me an impression that something more could be permanently wrong with my child's brain that's effecting they eye. Drove to the next closest place in search of after hours treatment. Went to @QueensWest, asked the entry guard where to go for my kids swollen eye. He told me physicians building suite 101 Queens West. Closest parking lot. Diagnosis, conjunctivitis. My kid has pink eye. Straub, hope you're reading this, thanks for making me worry more than I needed. Btw, don't know if this is new medical info but when an eyelids swells it pushes on the eyeball making it look something like a lazy eye. Shame, it's a beautiful building

Typical long waiting, but it's the same issue with everywhere. Good caring doctors and staffs however, are here.

Pediatricians don't visit the hospital when newborn these days as internists and hospital residents manage all immediate immunizations. The rest is up to the pediatrician who should thoroughly follow up. We agreed to proceed with this office because he's operated this office alone for over 12 years, is known among pediatric specialists if and when we need a referral, and has other pediatricians covering for him when he is out of town. His office hours are reasonable, and his staff was very pleasant and efficient. Many new parents are concerned as to how their pediatricians can be reached during odd hours or on the weekend, but Dr. Ninomiya assured us that Queen's west offers walk in pediatric care during evenings and weekends. Rather than expecting an ER visit bill, it would be treated as an office visit which is sufficient for us. We're looking forward to his care. Thank you for setting aside time to meet us!

Thankfully like some of the other reviews I had no issues with any other workers/receptionist. This is strictly for Doctor Ninomiya. I stayed with him wayyy longer than I should have and I should have followed my gut and found a new pediatrician years ago! Never in my entire life I have felt belittled, unheard & talked down to by a professional like himself. My son just turned 10 months and basically started getting sick more often when he turned 6 months. At yesterday's visit, it was like he practiced what he was going to say and how forcefully he was going to say it to me. He basically yelled at me, saying that it was our fault as parents that my son was getting sick. See, I would have believed him had I not visited "urgent care" before this visit because I really did not want to call doctor Ninomiya & hear that we caused our son to get sick again when we followed everything he told us to do. The Urgent Care doctor previously came from being a pediatrician and told me... "Not once did I blame the parents of why kids get sick." He said before 2, they will get sick a lot. "As doctors, we just need to help them get better and figure out what's wrong. I would never tell you to alter the way you live or your daily lives, because we just can't. There's no blaming game here. We all try to do our best!" & that stuck with me that there are other doctors that care & have the same values as my family. It's unfortunate that I had to leave this review here, but I do want everyone especially new, that this doctor is not for everyone. Yes, pediatricians are hard to find on the west side, but trust me... Go make a drive if you can't tolerate professionals like him. With that being said, yes I found another doctor in Kapolei whom shows compassion & care for my kids. Find a doctor that works for you and your family!

I didn't understand why I would be scheduled at 8 or 830am and she would come in at 9a or much later. Her waiting room would already be at full capacity and patients would still be outside the door and she has yet to arrive. I wouldn't get seen until lunch or later. Everytime I saw her for a cold or flu, she would always prescribe antibiotics. I had an ongoing condition under which most providers would refer to a specialist, but she did not. She would only refer to a radiologist for xrays and diagnostic lab for lab work needed. The radiology office is another can of worms-especially the older receptionist when questioning the paperwork or billing. I have received care in multiple medical systems over the years--including military healthcare in Rhode Island, North Carolina, and Hawaiʻi--and this team stands out above all of them. Their level of attentiveness, professionalism, and responsiveness to even the smallest skin changes is exceptional. Because of their vigilance, five separate areas of skin cancer have been identified and treated. With a family history of malignant melanoma, that kind of proactive care is not just appreciated--it is life-changing. I genuinely feel that the team at Complete Dermatology is saving lives every single day. What sets them apart is not just their expertise, but their approach. They don't wait--they act. They listen, they investigate, and they follow through. Whether it's surgical removal, blue light therapy, chemical peels for actinic keratosis, cryotherapy, or carefully guided topical treatments, they tailor care to the individual and stay ahead of potential problems. Every provider I have encountered has been knowledgeable, compassionate, and committed to doing what is best for the patient. I have complete confidence in their care, and I am deeply grateful to have them on my team. If you want a dermatology practice that is not only highly skilled but also genuinely invested in your health and long-term well-being, this is the place to go. Dr. Donna Fisher

I understand things happen, but it's hard to find time in the day to bring my child back 3 times in just 2 weeks. Also, the medication they sent in wasn't covered by insurance. The pharmacy told me the copay would be an upwards of $300. So we had to make some runarounds to get a replacement medication. I understand things happen, but a little frustrating on my end. I will say though, the staff is very kind and accommodating. The office is very accessible. Located in the James Campbell building right across the street from Zippys and 7-11 Kapolei, parking is found underground for free. You take the elevators up, and it's just a short walk down the breezeway. I'm going to continue to give them a chance because they've kept open communication with me about what's been going on since day 1, and they've accepted their mistakes, which I can appreciate.
