Was referred here by my PCP. Took about a week for them to contact me to schedule my initial consult. From referral to initial consult was approx 5 weeks. After the consult it was decided that I should go through with colonoscopy, which was scheduled in 2 weeks. Upon arrival at the center, check in was easy, completed the copay and was taken in the back approx 20 minutes after arrival. Everything happened quickly after that- questions about my health history, BP monitoring, change of clothes into a gown, IV inserted, receiving fluids. Personal items kept under me on a shelf under the hospital bed. Shortly after that the nurse anesthetist (Martin) wheeled me from the bay to the surgical area, I met the MD (Dr. A-Rahim) and GI tech (Anthony), all very nice! We reviewed my history/reason for procedure, and before I knew I was listening to an explanation of the anesthesia and dozed off. After what felt like a second I was back in the bay. Done! BP monitored, given some tea, changed back into my clothes. They staff was so efficient, I was out of there 11 minutes after my scheduled procedure time . The nurse made sure to review my discharge paperwork including results and lack of abnormalities (thankfully), and walked me out to make sure 1) I didn't fall or lose my balance and 2) make sure I had transportation since you shouldn't drive after anesthesia. When I need another colonoscopy (in 10 years ) I will definitely come here. I think the process of scheduling my initial consult took weeks due to my issue not being emergent. Scheduling a routine colonoscopy may be more routine and well in advance of the procedure date. Thank you to all the friendly and professional staff: Dr. A-Rahim, Nelia (RN), Luz (RN), Martin (CRNA), and Anthony (GI tech). You've made my first colonoscopy experience easy, quick, and stress free .

For a facility nobody is especially happy to visit, this place does it right. Even handing 30+ procedures a day, the experience was efficient and pleasant (well, as pleasant as a colonoscopy could be). Dr. Wong was great, the whole team was great (all introducing themselves even knowing I'll never remember a single name). I'm not in a hurry to get another procedure, but when my time comes around in ten years, I hope this place can fit me in.

First of all I did not have time to read about and set up using their CPAP machine for several weeks after receiving it. I later learned my insurance (Medicare) will not cover rent amount if I'm not using their machine 70% of the time. I did not realize this in the beginning. So I offered to pay the amount insurance refused to cover. Then I offered to pay for the machine in full because after the first month I was using their machine every night. Long story short, Apria is NOT a business friendly company.

I came in to your Pearl City Office and was rushed thru the process of getting a fitting of a mask, had something shoved in my nose which hurt me and told by your so called trained professional just use it because it will fit when I told her that the mask was too small. Now to replace your screw up I have to pay for another mask and Apria Healthcare is billing my insurance company again.. You know I laughed when I complained to my insurance company about how piss poor the service and care is at Apria and they informed me I am not the only one to complain and they are switching to a new provider in 2026.. Adios pain in my nose with untrained personnel.

Unlike seeing a primary doctor, Adventist Urgent Care takes walk-ins, and the next available doctor will see you as soon as possible. Unfortunately, due to their walk-in the wait time can take close to an hour or so (depending on your condition). Note: Adventist urgent care providers will take patients with worst condition first to make sure they get the immediate care. Also, if its your first time there you will need to fill out a registration form to be in the system and have any easier time transferring documents or keeping in contact.

It's now May and Ive been calling them non stop for 5 months to get a refund. They finally said they "found" the error and will refund me. Then a month later I get another bill from them for an additional $150 for the same appointment date! I am so sick and tired of dealing with these imbeciles! She even opened and organized my items, reviewed the instructions with me, and printed detailed information for every single medication I take. That was the most helpful information I've ever received from anyone at a pharmacy. I truly love Kaiser for the excellent care I receive. I genuinely feel that the doctors and medical professionals care deeply about the people they take care of, and they are incredibly knowledgeable. I also appreciate the modern approach to healthcare here. After I left the office, Cindy personally called me to recommend that I speak with my doctor about the treatment plan so I wouldn't experience too many side effects. That call showed me how much she truly cares, and that makes all the difference. Plus my favorite little farmer's market is located at their entrance! Great produce, great people!

Shot Clinic upstairs so took elevator and it's under Letter D. Good signage. Waited one minute in wait area and called in to sit, get my vaccinations quickly and then out. Nurse was very efficient and pleasant. You must make an appointment for flu and Covid vax as this location does not do walk-ins. Pensacola used to but not sure if they still do. Lab was packed so they ask you to take a number to be called to their window to check in. I decided not to do it this time since I figured it would be at least 30 min based on amount of people in their waiting room. It was a Tuesday around 10:00 am. As I was departing, they had tables set up on lanai of front entrance selling coffee, snacks and a short line was forming. All in all it was a very good first experience at this location and I'll return for blood work.

He was responsive and very caring. My son felt safe with him. The night nurse, Cliff, was also very good too! Case managers, Beth and Tainika, kept our family up-to-date with our son's status. My son still has a slight yellow tinge to his skin, but he is stable and getting stronger thanks to the great care provided by the wonderful Pali Momi staff of doctors and nurses! Mahalo!

It's very difficult to rate Pali Momi because I feel that overall, their ER services and lab are…read morethe BEST on all of Oahu and the best hospital out of most of the hospitals I've been to in the mainland while my spouse was in the military. I would love them just because of their ER. If I were to move to Kahala, Kailua or Waianae, I would still drive to their ER in the dead of night over any other ER (if I could). I have never in my life described an ER visit as a service, but when I go to Pali Momi, it feels like a service. Like GREAT service for the money you're paying. I'm being catered to even when I have to wait a little for the Dr, the ER STAFF just feels like an ELEVATED level of care and not unprofessional or ratchet like other ER staff from other hospitals I've been to. The wait time here is always the shortest of any other ER we have gone to for other people. You won't catch the staff talking loudly or badly about a patient (had that happen at Castle ER). This ER will have have short, low murmured, light interactions and even when they're updating the next crew on patients before leaving - they are actually very discreet. With their ER, the staff station is just a comfortable or soothing buzz in the background and not like other ERs where people are talking loudly, yelling or laughing over each other while someone's in excruciating pain just a few feet away. I love how their ER has grown and how Pali Momi has UTILIZED their space on the first floor to make more rooms for the ER so that patients are not waiting long outside. That alone also adds to you feeling like they make efforts and give a damn about the service they provide. Whether you end up in one of the makeshift rooms at the back, I feel like they know how patients feel - once I'm inside - mentally I already feel a little better because I'm one step closer to being seen. The next step is waiting outside to be called and then when you're called they take you in to your room or space. You wait for the Dr., see the Dr, they do what needs to be done, then you either wait to be transferred to a room upstairs or wait for your papers and the nurse or doctor to speak about what you need to do once home or when you get your meds. This ER will CALL YOU shortly after your visit to FOLLOW UP on how you're doing. This is great! Anyway, let's talk about the service of their upstairs staff if you have to stay in the hospital. 1- This hospital is a lot cleaner compared to other hospitals, Queens in town and Straub on King st, but it could still be better. My mom had to stop a maid because she used the SAME flannel that she wiped the room with to wipe the bathroom and SINK!! The sink that nurses put the bottles on for the patient's water flushes for their feeding line or that patients themselves use. And if someone is in the room, they won't come all the way in to mop. I know they probably are just trying not to intrude but pls come in anyway to make sure the room is clean. If someone says they don't want it, fine but some people will appreciate it being cleaned thoroughly even if they're there. 2. The staffs upstairs are mostly great. You do have some very good nurses here, but I've encountered the same male nurse who walked in twice and almost use the SAME gloves he's had from visiting other patients. This is unacceptable as that's how OUTBREAKS happen. Your hospital has an awesome reputation, but that small carelessness from one person can ruin that. 3. Please please for the love of god, change or get a refund from the contractor that provides the sheets. I've been there a few times recently again and each time, the bed sheets do NOT FIT the beds! Please get bigger sheets that won't shrink in the dryer. I feel so bad for the CNAs and nurses when I help change my loved one's bed sheets and it doesn't even fit. To the point where the patient becomes uncomfortable due to the sheet bending the mattress inwards. I hope if we have another stay, that all the too small sheets have been replaced. 4. Keep up the great work. Your lab is very good at drawing blood and putting in IV lines for hard cases. We appreciate that so much. 5. Your insurance ladies are so polite when coming to ask for that and getting it done so we don't have to worry about it. I like that they will come to the patient to complete their paperwork or return their things so the patient doesn't have to come to them if they're unable to. 6. Shout out to your cafeteria. The staff in there is so efficient and kind. The place is clean and comfortable with plenty of seating.
