The reviews for that business was 4.5 stars. Well needless to say this supposedly reputable business turned out to be nothing more than the usual auto repair hustlers. They wanted to charge more than a dealership to repair the car. When I called them out on it, of course the hustlers came up with we have to take the motor out to replace a starter. I even offered to pay them what the dealership had quoted me. They declined the offer. I then contacted Pickups Plus and spoke to Blake. I told him the situation with the car, told him I was out of state and needed a quote to replace the starter. Blake's quote came back $100 under the dealership and $155 under the hustlers. I had the car picked up from Sevcik's Service Center 2200 Longmire Drive College Station, TX 77845 and towed to Pickups Plus. Blake had my daughters car up and running a few hours later. They listened to everything we told them and took detailed notes of all of our questions and concerns. They were highly communicative and provided text message updates throughout the process. They also sent me an email with the results of the inspection as soon as it was complete. They explained every detail of the issues they found and were willing to take the time to talk with me about other potential issues I had noticed. They pointed out things they found that I should keep an eye on as well. My car runs great after I took it in. I haven't had any recurring issues and I think it's running better now.
