Update: I was initially put off by them not having a way to reach anyone in the salon and the concierge number was no help. HOWEVER, when I emailed about my concerns I received a quick reply. I have a weird "shelf" thing that my hair does and Amanda let me come back to get it "fixed". She genuinely wanted me to love my hair and after the fix I absolutely do! Plus, wanted something that's a closer drive to my home/work. My appointment on Tuesday was with Ashleigh, @locksandlore, and she was the absolute sweetest. Even though she's a curly specialist, I wanted someone who truly understands my hair as I make this big shift. I also saw Danielle, @fairiehairie, for the wash and style after the cut and she was lovely. Everyone there was so professional and friendly! B.J. was already booked so I was set up with Lupe. The day of, everything went to heck in a hand-basket. My car battery went dead, the dress I'd ordered was a mess, my leg from an earlier fall stopped working, (I ended up in wheelchair for the wedding), there was more but you get the picture. I did my trial a few days ago and all I can say is AMAZING! She is absolutely amazing so talented. I booked to have my engagement photos done the same day not realizing how hot it would be. I'm thinking this makeup will be ruined for this 2 hour shoot. Can I say flawless the whole time. It was over 115 and the makeup was still perfect. I'm not a big makeup person so I felt this makeup is going to be so heavy and caked on. But total opposite it looks super natural and lightweight (hopefully that makes sense).
