Love this place! The line was a little long but honestly, it was well worth the hype. We waited about 20mins for our order to get taken (the line was well out the door about to reach the parking lot). The focaccia bread was cooked right in front of you so you know it's super fresh. I really appreciated that they crafted the sandwiches right in front of you and the methodical approach they took to layering the ingredients and wrapping the sandwich to make it look presentable. I got the prosciutto with salami added. It was delicious! The only thing I would change is to add more balsamic but that's my personal preference. I also got the fresh baked cookie. Amazing! It was soft, warm, ooey-gooey chocolate--just delicious. I'd literally go back just for it. The restaurant was well decorated with plenty of seating. It was also very clean, making it an excellent dine-in experience.

Located in the parking lot of Noble credit union and a short distance from their sister restaurant Annesso's, you'll always find a long line outside of Strada. If you are in line outside, it can take anywhere between 20 and 30 minutes to get to the front and complete your order. It's a very similar setup to Butterfish in that the line wraps around and you place your order, making your way to all of the ingredients, including the spreads and proteins. The setup seems to have a lot of room for improvement in efficiency. The few times that we were there, we saw one, sometimes two, individuals cutting bread or at the bread station. There's one person who takes the order, grabs the bread, and puts the spread on. From there, someone in the back slices the protein and a third person puts the sandwich together and passes it down to be wrapped. On our first go round, it took an hour to get in and they messed up my order by giving me someone else's. I already paid for it had to wait about 10 minutes to get my order. We've tried the Mortadella which my husband swears by and will not deviate from. I think it is delicious although the ham is more of a bologna texture. Everything about the mortadella I loved minus the protein so I subbed it out for prosciutto at our next visit. The prosciutto ended up being a bit too salty. Our third visit, I tried the Straciatella. This didn't come with a protein, so I ended up adding the prosciutto again. It was just ok with the prosciutto. The price points for the sandwiches are very fair. I think that once they become more efficient on the line, the reviews will creep up a little bit closer to five stars.

The sandwich was very yummy! Walking into the restaurant felt super clean and just really classy. I enjoyed being able to watch them craft my sandwich together and even watch them take the focaccia bread out, freshly baked, and used for the sandwich. The service was wonderful! Everyone was very nice and friendly! The line was out the door and it wasn't as long as I thought it would take. My only big issue which is honestly why it's a 4/5 was because when they took out the bread from the oven, there was a whole in it. Instead of saving it they threw away right in front of us. It was a perfectly baked loaf with just a small hole in it. I understand not using it because quality control but I also think they didn't need to throw it out, at least not in front of the line. It just felt wasteful.

Solid sandwich place! We got there a couple minutes after opening and it was only about a 15 min wait! Shout out to the workers, they are all doing an amazing job and have a lot of patience! We got the spicy soppressata and the roasted turkey with pesto! The spicy soppressata to me lacked flavor and I couldn't really taste any spice in it. I wouldn't get this again. However, the roasted turkey with pesto was very good, perfect amount of meat to veggie ratio and the bread they make from scratch is very good. The inside is clean, and service is top notch. Glad we have another solid spot to enjoy! Prices are fair! Can't wait to be back!

Got in line around 11 AM (Well not me, but my partner. Bless his soul). Took about 40 mins to get the orders made. There was ample seating inside & outside but took the orders to-go. Ordered the spicy soppressata and prosciutto sandwiches. I liked the spicy soppressata better but both were good. Spicy soppressata had the perfect amount of spice that wasn't overpowering. It had semi-thick slices of parm reg, which really added nuttiness and depth I really liked. This sandwich was warmer than the prosciutto sandwich given the prosciutto sandwich had more cold ingredients (mozzarella, tomato). I am a warm sandwich gal, which is why I probably liked the spicy soppressata more. Lastly, we ordered the Nutella & pistachio sandwich. It's half the size of a normal sandwich (& half the price). Very simple ingredients that uses the same focaccia, Nutella, pistachio nuts, and flaky salt. Simple but delicious! I wanted to be mad that I could make it at home but couldn't since it was just plain good lol. Overall, the place isn't All'Antico Vinaio. I do like the focaccia better at Sam's Italian Deli, but everything here was solid. I'd come again when the hype dies down. They also said they're coming out with mobile ordering soon, so that would help a lot!

My husband and I were excited to try this new Italian sandwich shop next to Annesso and owned by the same owners (Pardini). We went around 4 o'clock on Thursday after their opening and there was a line to get in. It probably took a half hour to get in and get to the ordering point. You order at the counter where you can see them making the bread and all the fresh ingredients to put on the sandwiches. I ordered the Tuscan ham and my husband got a plain turkey and salami sandwich with no spreads or toppings. He was happy with his. He loved the bread, and the meats are fresh and great quality. Unfortunately, my Tuscan ham had way too much spread or maybe the pecorino cream was just too overpowering. It was supposed to have a calabrian spicy spread, but I really couldn't taste the Calabrian Chile. I would not get those spreads in the future but probably just a drizzle of olive oil. The spreads were so overpowering I couldn't taste the freshness of any of the other ingredients. The foccacia bread was more crispy than chewy maybe because they warm it back up with olive oil right before making the sandwich. I would maybe ask that they not warm up the bread either if I go back. There was plenty of seating inside and outside on their patio, and everyone was super friendly. All in all with the fresh ingredients and fresh bread, this place definitely deserves a try from anyone looking for a good sandwich.

Love when Hot & New restaurants begin!! =) 5/08/26 Getting lunch!! Arrived! Very busy! Line going Way outside past the front door. Waited...expected given reading the reviews. Moved at a slow pace. Music playing. This was at 11am. FYI. A kind worker greeted and gave a menu while waiting outside. The line got much longer too!! 10 minutes waiting outside and line moved to go in. Very nice inside. Cool! Safe & clean! Music playing. Wine bottles up on the walls, on shelves. Decides on the Tuscan Ham. Sounded GREAT!! Definitely a lot workers moving with the busy pace. You move in and around where they make it in front of you. Fresh! Fresh bread made and pulled out too!! Theres outside searing also!! 30 minutes and got to ordering. Ordered Tuscan Ham. The worker that took my order was kind. From there, after almost 40 minutes, it moved quick! Moved down, put together, cut in half by another worker, paid for, bagged and go with thanks! Oh my Goodness!! Leaving, the line tripled!! Definitely recommend going early! Otherwise, you'll get to be waiting outside a Very long time...in the heat! Lunchtime!! It's LARGE! 1/2 is enough. Tuscan Ham Sandwich is DELICIOUS! Lots of Flavor and Great bread'! Fresh & Tasty along with everything in it! I have leftovers from the 1/2. You definitely get your moneys worth! Great going to share or have another lunch! It is a process , but workers are kind and definitely have good teamwork! Set up smoothly! Even if it takes a while. Pretty sure that's normal for new restaurants in Fresno. It should calm down soon! Good service & GREAT Tuscan Ham Sandwich! Highly recommended!

New to Fresno and lives up to the high ch t. Don't let the long line dissuade you from going here. The food js top notch. I observed then bread get cut near evenly by hand here. The sandwiches are so good. Top 3 Italian sandwich in town. The inside is so clean. This is a must stop in Fresno.

I've been saying Fresno needs an Italian street sandwich shop for 20 years. So excited to try Strada!!! It was fantastic. From the start of the fresh made bread to the quality ingredients and combination of flavor profiles for each of the sandwiches it met all my expectations. We did have to wait in line for 45 minutes, but was worth it. They are hustling inside to keep things moving. We ordered the prosciutto sandwich and the straciatella and both were fantastic. It's super casual seating but as the rest of Pardini's restaurants, very nicely done. And to my surprise, not on menu, was a giant chocolate chip cookie which was perfection, chewy middle, crispy edges...yum. Can't wait until the takeout window is open!

I have heard so much about this place so we decided to give it a try. We got in line at 10:53 on a Sunday, they opened at 10:30. We did not make it through the line until 11:40. It was a very long wait, with majority of the wait outside in the sun. The seating area isn't that large and there were many tables that had finished eating and were just sitting around chatting leaving lots of people having to get their food to go as there was nowhere to sit. The employees seemed very friendly. Dining area was being tended to quickly and was very clean. We split a Tuscan salami sandwich with the artichoke spread. We asked them to also add a bit of pesto. We heard people ordering a side of zucchini so we decided to as well. The sandwich and zucchini were delicious! I definitely want to go back, but the long wait makes it hard especially with the summer and heat coming.

Overall: A yummy place to eat! Went to try Strada over the weekend during a rush (2-3 pm) and ended up waiting 40 mins all together in line/ordering/receiving food. The long line ended up dying down at 4, so I wish we came at a different time lol. Staff tried their best to accommodate every customer Food: I went with my sibling and we ordered a prosciutto, tuscan ham, and spicy soppressata all together. Our favorite dish was definitely the prosciutto sandwich- the salty meat with warm toasted focaccia paired nicely with the mozzarella, arugula, and tomato! I added red onion and avocado with it too. If you want something with a little kick the tuscan ham/soppressata might be in your lane. Tuscan sandwich is very light (not too salty) and the sauce and arugula cuts through any heaviness from the meat/roasted eggplant/focaccia. Everything was fresh, and even your own meat was sliced on the spot as you ordered. This place is definitely worth trying, and I will be coming back Inside: I like how the interior is decorated, with the frosted glass blocking customers who were eating vs in line. We ate inside, and even with the long line there was almost always free tables/chairs (both indoor and outdoor) Con: My only complaint is with the operations of the establishment, assuming the owner is responsible. I really wished the items at the food bar were labeled for the customers, and there was a better work flow that the employees could follow (given by management). While waiting for line I noticed that the wait wasn't because of the volume of customers itself, but because each customer would ask for extensive information about the ingredients! Most people didn't know what each sauce/meat was and would ask which ingredients fit under a certain dietary restriction and it made the entire ordering process SO slow. Sometimes people would even change their mind about the meat or cheese they wanted when the order was almost put together... it was frustrating to witness. The patience the staff had while trying to take care of the volume of customers was appreciated!

We went today to try it out I didn't expect the wait to be so long but it was worth it. They have over 20 employees working at the same time the smell is great the food is incredibly fresh. We bought three sandwiches and all three were perfect in their own way. The turkey artichoke is my favorite followed by the veggie one with fresh motz. Bread is individually baked and has the best mouthfeel I've ever had in a sandwich. Owner was there working the bread, very filling and fair pricing. Another local gem I will frequent when I want this kind of sandwich it was a lovely experience.

Mortadella sandwich with the casing strips
    Sheila S.

I was so excited when I first heard about this place. I'm a huge fan of All'Antico Vinaio and thought this would be similar. I couldn't have been more wrong. The mortadella quality wasn't there. With each bite I pulled away multiple casing strings in my mouth. I couldn't get thru one half of the sandwich. I switched to the other half and the same thing. Also the pistachio cream isn't a high quality one. This was my first and last time there.

After reviewing the menu selection, it felt like I was waiting for a while just for a staff member to acknowledge us. Instead, the workers were standing with their backs to us , and left us standing there for a while. In fact , I was so confused I was looking around for a kiosk to order my food. The next thing that I didn't like was the price of our lunch. 45.00 for one sandwich , two small cups of soup , two fountain drinks , and a dessert. Seems pricey for a sandwich spot. I get it - this is a step up from Subway. However, for what I spent - I expected more. Finally, the dining room tables were grimy. I had to clean off our own table before the food arrived. I felt like this was inexcusable considering the amount of staff standing around not doing much. Here is what I did like. The menu has a nice variety of hot or cold sandwiches, sides , and desserts. Everything sounded so good. Today, I opted for the Monterey chicken sandwich. While the flavor was good, it ate a little messy. I had chicken pieces falling out and cheese oozing out of the bottom. I don't think I would order this again- there appears to be better options to choose from. The baked potato soup was really good ( salty but delicious)! Hands down , the best thing we tried was Gary's chocolate cake. That cream cheese frosting was heavenly! Heads up- this cake is super sweet ,and a little goes a long way. Feel free to share this dessert. I am coming back to try more menu items- I may have just ordered the wrong sandwich today.

It was succulent, saucy, and deeply comforting. The pork was rich and exceptionally moist without being mushy, carrying deep smoky and savory flavors from the slow-smoking process and well-seasoned rub. The BBQ sauce was equally well-balanced--subtly spiced, tangy, and slightly sweet. It complemented the richness of the pork rather than masking it, and I appreciated that it was neither overly drippy nor sticky. The vinegary housemade slaw added the perfect contrast, bringing fresh crunch along with a briny, acidic sharpness that balanced the savory meat beautifully. The garlic-butter French roll held everything together nicely without falling apart, yet remained soft enough to absorb the sauce. I was not nearly as impressed with the tri-tip sandwich, which happens to be their best seller, though I still enjoyed it overall. The tri-tip itself was on point: thinly sliced, tender, medium-rare smoky beef piled onto a garlic-toasted French roll and complemented by tangy BBQ sauce. It delivered smoky, savory, juicy flavors with a satisfying contrast between the tender meat and the crunchy bread, which held the juices well without becoming soggy. That said, I thought the sandwich could have used a little more meat, which likely explains the popularity of the Jump Tri-Tip -- a larger version of the regular tri-tip sandwich that adds more meat on the same excellent bread for only a few dollars more. I also felt the sandwich needed an additional element to elevate it further--perhaps caramelized onions for sweetness, melted cheese for richness, or a sharper horseradish cream or garlic aioli to add more depth and contrast. Service was warm and friendly throughout, and I am always greeted with a smile.

This original location remains my recommended spot for Mediterranean food. Many Mediterranean…read morerestaurants in Fresno County are Armenian-owned, while only a small handful--like this family-run restaurant--specialize in Lebanese cuisine. Lebanese food is widely considered among the best expressions of Mediterranean cooking due to its vibrant use of fresh ingredients, particularly herbs, lemon, garlic, and olive oil, along with a strong emphasis on healthy, plant-based, and grilled dishes. It offers diverse, shareable, and nutrient-dense options such as tabbouleh, hummus, and falafel, making it both flavorful and nutritious. I always enjoy dining at Golden Grill because they exemplify Lebanese cuisine so well. Their dishes highlight fresh herbs like mint and parsley, along with garlic and lemon juice, rather than relying heavily on spices. The result is a light, refreshing, and aromatic flavor profile that feels both vibrant and balanced. The kebabs are excellent. The grilled cubes of beef, chicken, and kafta (ground beef and lamb) skewers are flavorful, tender, and juicy, topped with herbs and grilled to perfection. They carry a subtle smokiness and savory aroma, and the meats are beautifully charred with vibrant color. Their pita and saj sandwiches are also very well done. Each sandwich is warm and carefully assembled, forming a sturdy pocket filled with high-quality ingredients. They combine savory meats (or falafel and vegetables), creamy sauces, and crunchy pickles and onions into a balanced bite. The bread holds generous fillings without collapsing while still being tender enough to bite through easily. The pocket opens cleanly, creating the perfect pouch for the ingredients. For a small restaurant with limited seating that appears to receive many to-go orders, the presentation for dine-in guests is especially thoughtful. The dishes are served on clean white ceramic plates and trays, with the food carefully arranged and portions balanced. It is simple yet elegant and visually appealing. Golden Grill also captures the Lebanese mezze-style dining experience. As someone of Korean heritage, I appreciate this approach, since it is similar to how Korean meals are served with many shared dishes that provide variety in every meal. Some of the shared plates include Lebanese staples like hummus, falafel, tabbouleh, baba ghanouj, and fresh flatbread. Everything here tastes fresh and well-prepared, with distinct textures and aromatic flavors. The signature entrées come with two cold appetizers. The hummus is silky smooth, a velvety blend of garbanzo beans and tahini that almost melts in your mouth. The baba ghanouj is creamy, garlicky, and finished with olive oil. The tabbouleh is bright and balanced with lemon juice, garlic, and a generous drizzle of olive oil that ties together the citrusy and earthy flavors. The restaurant itself is clean, with tables and chairs wiped down quickly after guests leave. Service is friendly, welcoming, and helpful when placing orders. Prices are also reasonable, especially considering many competing Mediterranean restaurants do not place the same emphasis on presentation or on creating a mezze-style dining experience at no additional cost. While some may prefer other Mediterranean cuisines, I personally enjoy the fresh, light, and diverse flavors that Lebanese food offers. Golden Grill's citrus-forward dishes and extensive mezze options make it one of my favorite Mediterranean spots.
