I came to this location the other day by accident, but I have a loyalty account that carries from store to store, so I decided to try it out. What I like about this location is that it's not half as busy as the dispensary near the I-10. I was in and out of the store within 5-10 minutes, and the staff was very friendly and upbeat. They answered my questions, helped me find an alternative to a product my home location has that this location didn't, and I still get my veteran's discount. Matt was a lot of fun and had a great personality. The other bud tenders greeted me as well, genuinely interested to be there (let's be real for a second and acknowledge most people in this industry are probably interested in their work XD). Story (formerly Oasis) has a nice variety and great deals. You earn points for every dollar spent that you can eventually use toward your next purchase after reaching a certain threshold. Getting old SUX but discovering cannabis sure helps!! How did I not ever smoke this stuff in high school like most of my friends and siblings did in the 70's?? I usually love this Dispo, always friendly and always clean. It sometimes can take a while to get in but it's usually worth it. Recently, they have been selling their in house cartridges under the name "Entourage" that quite frankly I don't even know how they're legally selling them because if any single one of them saw what the oil actually looked and tasted like would feel sorry for whoever they sold it to. They look like they're burned and most have the taste of a rubber eraser while the others taste like chemicals. I have had street cartridges that have tasted and looked better than these. Of the worst dispensaries I have been to. I have been here several times because of how close it is to me. The flower is always dry so I have to remoisten it all the time. 8 out of the 10 cart I've bought broke quickly. The concentrates are okays. There are two staff members I've interacted with that were super chill and cool. The other staff members are so rude, condescending and treat me like I am noob every time. I get mansplained about everything everytime, even though I have shopped at dispensarys ten times better in California. The most lame thing is their rewards program. It's $1 for one point, which is fine and all but to use the reward you have to spend the same amount as what you're getting with the rewards. I would have given zero stars but that was not a option. This place had the rudest management I have ever dealt with. I specifically ordered indica and yet again they did not send the correct strain. Usually they will replace it and show some empathy. This last order the manager stated hybrid is the same as stain specific and I needed to deal with it. This is the first time they have been rude and non responsive to the customer when they made a mistake. I will not ever go there and I suggest you look at other dispensaries that treat you as you deserve to be treated. Not a good experience there today with the website and the on duty manager. I was on the oasis website today. The page shows 8/6/21. They show two deals side by side. One for 30% off of a pod. They cost $72 so it would save me $21. When paying I was told that deal is for tomorrow. I was told the one offer was for yesterday and one was for tomorrow. First off, why post yesterday's deal? Secondly, no where is there any dates associated with the two deals so how is it I should know that? As for the manager, he first "mistakenly" said the 30% was for today. He than back tracked and stated the he knows the website is misleading but he has nothing to do with the website and bluntly asked if there was anything more he can do for me. I not only think the manager was rude in his handling of the situation but also lost a $500 a month customer due to his lack of effort to satisfy me in any way. I cannot speak for their other establishments but based on management in this store, I don't see a reason to believe it would be any better in one of the other locations. I was moved to write this review after I have heard some of the "Recreationals" are rude to the budtenders. Please take your nasty attitudes to Mint or the hood spot near the airport! Where the meth heads hang outside. Oasis is a professional innovative, always kind, clean and polite dispensary. They take pride in their customer service. Inventory is low everywhere and they are not trying to give anyone a hard time. However, one of the new laws created around legalization, is they can not put the products on the counters. It's the law!! You "recreationals"need to understand that. Yes you can go in and buy weed from location. The legalization is a pain in the ass for most dispensaries. There is additional cost, they have to change or use 2 different systems for the medical and non, additional taxes, they will need to purchase 2 maybe 3 times more product. All of these costs they could have passed on to their customers, they didn't. Prices rose a couple dollars, for now ‍Guess what? This ain't sprouts, certain strains take a while to grow. Some strains maybe they lost their mother plant (I think that's what they say). Some growers like Abundance will not grow StarLord all year round!!!WTF. Some growers they do not carry and usually that is based on the grower. Once we figured out what I love (heavy indicas), they all basically would let me know, "nope you won't like that", "now this you will love". I smoke weed, blunts to be exact, but at oasis they have also brought me around to dabbing. I have had to contact a few for lessons! But I love it!!! I love MY desert Oasis. I remember Amanda and Toshi being the first two bud tenders who took their time to explain. Made me aware it's not just the THC levels, it's all those penes. I would also have Alan, and???? His name escapes me always has a bandana as a face mask. Tall?? He and Alan are usually always working together. He makes my boring name seem exotic. Their last receptionist, Tayla, was promoted to corporate position. But I miss her very much. There's my Ang, she was only the GM for one store and now she is over all stores. She has moved on up. We need more strong women in this cannibis business. The Jordan's and Maricela, one Jordan is black, the other one is pregnant can't confuse them lol. My only complaint and this has happened 2 times at this location specifically- the bud tenders are charging 5-10$ more on the debit card machine and their tipping themselves. I have a big problem with this. I usually tip every time but when I don't it's bc I'm not able to. Last night a guy that I recognize was my bud tender. He charged me 65$ for a 50$ pack of jeeters. I have a medical card so it should have been more than 55$ with taxes and all.
