What impressed me most about SMMEC was the initial professionalism. The first requirement was my medical records documenting my medical issues, and then SMMEC specific paperwork. They were clearly not interested in shuffling someone through the process without fully understanding their needs. When I had the opportunity to meet Dr. Burns for my examination and evaluation, my confidence in this medical practice was well-rewarded. Dr. Burns is the consummate medical professional. She spent an amazing amount of time reviewing my medical history (which is lengthy and complicated); and then educating me as to which marijuana strain would be most appropriate for me to use for my specific pain issues. She also provided me written suggestions to take to a dispensary so their would be no confusion. In many ways she reminds me of the traditional family doctor of my youth. I had the Center handle the submission of the State paperwork, and exactly one week after my appointment, my card arrived in the mail. I look forward to seeing Dr. Burns for other medical issues as appropriate, and of course - my annual renewal. This is a professional medical practice; the $150 fee was money well spent. The young man who helped me told me that it wasn't good for Harvest, and it was instead good for ReeferDoc, where I could get patient education. An employee of this business is giving out completely incorrect information and preventing people from using the coupon that Harvest has issued. Talk about working against your own employer! My online order was not ready when I arrived so the young man went to get it and brought me a bag filled up with product I had not ordered. I ordered high potency and he delivered low potency even though I gave him my card and presumably he knows I'm a medical patient.
