The initial perks were the front desk staff were friendly and super helpful. For many years they accepted packages and put them in my unit. I utilize the unit for work related marketing materials, so it was such a great help to have them accept packages. They also had a functioning moving truck, which I utilized a few times. The last time I inquired about the moving truck it was out of order. I also used to keep a spare key at the front desk which they threw out during an ownership transition and didn't notify me. It's a compounding of all of these things that have chipped away at my overall Impression of this company. Why do I still rent here? It's indoors, secure to enter, and offers the shortest commute for me to get there.

They blame it on inflation but it seems like classic predatory landlord tactics to me. I gave my notice to vacate and revoked their auto-pay authorization and told them I would send a check. I mailed a check along with a hard copy of my intent to vacate and sent it certified mail. They didn't accept delivery of it so they didn't receive my rent and they locked me out of my unit. Had they done their job, they would have received payment three days before it was due. These people lack professionalism and they have no problem at all being predatory property managers. Both on the phone and in-person he was very courteous, professional, helpful and knowledgeable. Today, in person we both followed COVID-19 protocol with social distancing and wearing masks. I was pleased to see that Public Storage and their employees were abiding by the protocols. I was able to look at several storage units on site. The entire storage lot and the office was very clean and well kept. The unit prices and employees friendliness definitely made it a no brainer to select Public Storage. I had called other "local" storage businesses but they never returned my calls. I highly recommend Public Storage !!!!

If you could imagine the costs of moving or paying DOUBLE the rental cost, or being offered a second unit on another floor for a few dollars less, this is what you get. Double. Not a 10, 20, 30 percent increase. A 100% increase. And the lady I spoke with said it will likely go up again in 4 months. I asked her if it could double again. She said it could. It's clearly a fake price to get you in so you don't feel you have a choice after spending hundreds of dollars to move. A scam. And yes, there are unhoused people in the spaces as night. Nothing scary, but they are there.

The manager, KC, is very friendly and clearly keeps close tabs on the place. He knew that I had vacated my unit (done after the office close done evening) before I called to close my account. The only minor drawback is that their driveway is a bit short with the entry keypad fairly close to the street, making entry and exit mildly difficult if traffic is heavy. I've rented units from them on two occasions and would definitely do so again!
