This month I noticed that a window on an RV was broken and covered with tape and plastic. Glass was on the ground and had not been removed. I called and spoke with jessica and inquired if there was a break in or just an accident. She could not tell me any information regarding any spot but mine, company policy. So I called the bakersfield police.They informed me the last issue at this facility was in July and was a breakin of one of the storage units. All I wanted to know was the circumstances of this. Was it simply an accident or was it a breakin. This is so I could determine if I need to move my unit out. It seems odd that each time I am in the office that the security TV are off and NOT monitored. They told me that the use their computers because it is easier to see. The two stars is for possible security issues at this site. I have no other issues at this place and I know that breakins can happen anywhere. The security can be better. I went sometime last month a a few storage places in the back had been vandalized.

I have stored my overflow belongings with Stor Quest for years. The prices are reasonable and the units are very well maintained. The property Manager Anita Rodriguez is professional, friendly and is always helpful. I recommend Stor Quest to anyone needing additional storage space. read more

Great clean, storage place. We booked our unit online the day before, we walked in the next morning signed a few papers and was on our way to our new unit. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. You do need your own lock we bought one from their office, we chose the one designed for the unit that provides better security. They also store RV's and Trailers, and have multiple unit sizes to choose from. If your not sure what will suit your needs the staff is there to help you. The best thing for us is the 24hr gate access with your specific code. We live in another town and have the flexibility to come even when the office is closed is ideal. read more

Whoever runs the front desk is very good at their job. She was friendly and very thorough with explaining how everything works when renting a unit from them. Even took the time to show me different sized units so I could choose which works best for my budget. read more

I've had things stored there for just over 8 years. When I first moved in, my basic 10x10 was $64/mo. period........My last bill for the same space....SAME SPACE was $97+$10 for insurance. $107 total per month. Now I realize that as time goes by the money is worth less and less but......... a 59% increase in 8 years???? Some how inflation and forced insurance don't explain that increase to me. I found another facility and was trying to get everything moved before the end of the month. Goodwill couldn't schedule a pick-up of a couple of large items before the end of the month. I called and spoke to a very pleasant lady. She was cordial but firm as she repeated company policy..... NO PRO RATING......NO REFUNDS OF PARTIAL MONTHS read more

Ok , So My Mother was in the hospital and was late on her payment and I tell the person on the phone this. Than she proceeds to ask me if she can speak to her. " I just told you she was in the hospital , So I can't speak to her ? I reply NOOOO. I than proceed to tell her how rude and INSENSITIVE that comment was. But of course in a few choice words. This place is such a rip off. I go in to pay it and was told I couldn't use a debit card only cash because it was late. So I go in to pay it 3 weeks later and the charges have gone up another $ 70. They say late fees . So , I have to collect the other $ 70 that I need and low and behold, within one day the charges go up ANOTHER $ 10. This place is ridiculous.!! So , If you need a storage DO NOT RENT ONE FROM THIS PLACE. Go to Derrells Mini Storage. read more

This place is trading 5-star reviews for their special padlock...pretty unethical. Your rent will increase by 7% after 3 months. This isn't mentioned anywhere, or the $20 admin fee they charge you after all paperwork is done. There is no way to get around the extra $10/month in required insurance. They actually want your homeowner's/renter's insurance to print their name on the declarations page which is like....what? No insurance company is going to do that lol. I had such a great customer service experience here. Kendra Lawless helped me with all my questions and concerns over the phone. Me never renting a storage before, I didn't know what size I would need to move my belongings into. She took the time and shown me the different sizes of the units and also was very informative when it came down to all the paperwork and everything I needed/wanted to know. read more

It recently changed owners so renters beware. I don't think they have what it takes. I went in 9/31/16 to rent. The previous owners had a special going on and said my rent wouldn't start till the 1st of oct. I come in 9/5/16 and find there is a lock on my unit. I wasn't made aware that new ownership was taking over and i had to log in to their site to may any payments. After 5 days of having the unit and finding a lock i was forced to do research and finally saw that the cite to log in was a diff company. After i sign in i find my balance is completely different from what i was told. I call this morning and after i explain my situation i was told the manager would call me with a resolution. After the manager calls me she is not aware of my situation so i had to re tell my entire situation again. After everything i had to go thru i wasn't given anything other than you owe the full balance. We don't see you had a special promotion. I am going to vacay and i find funny that after 6 days i was never able to put anything in because they had my storage locked. People look elsewhere. You will regret it. I have a pro rate i have to pay for a unit i didn't even use. Hope this helps someone. read more
