They were told repeatedly he cannot sit in those chairs. The salesman SAW him struggle to get in and out of their vans. They didn't care. They made a bet for breakfast that the presenter couldn't get us all to sit down at once. We told him... Again... that he physically can't sit down because of SPINAL MUSCULAR ATROPHY. He begged us to sit anyway and said he'd "help him up" so he can get free breakfast. Ableist and disgusting. You're making bets about forcing your disabled guests to do things that aren't physically safe or possible for them? Your little bet tells me everything I need to know about your company and your sales tactics. He also used his father's cancer as a scare tactic to get people to buy. "You never know when family members will be gone." He ALSO said "you can't fix..." and trailed off before saying "stupid" when I told him I wasn't interested in buying. I said "Careful. Be careful." Never do business with this company. Honestly, even getting $500 worth of tickets for sitting through this nauseating experience was barely worth it. Get all the way out of here with your fake, condescending nonsense. The ONLY redeeming part was the two kind women who ran the rewards desk at the end. They were very upset when I told them about the sales guys' bet. Still, unfortunately, they're not the crux of Lifetime Destinations. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. Zero stars.

I stayed here with family over memorial weekend and really wanted to like the place. I think it's a…read moreneat facility, but unfortunately, appears to have fallen into disrepair. They have awesome kids pools, but they were all closed for maintenance. There is however a fairly small but nice playground that our 2yr old grandson thoroughly enjoyed. Our house had A/C issues, it never did get down to the low 70's which we set it for despite being a fairly mild weekend. The whole family got a kick out of the watching the ground hogs which are everywhere! We saw very little of the staff which seemed odd but not a problem, and they were very friendly. With the closest lake access being a couple minutes driving distance, and the closest beach being even further, the pool not working left us very little to do on site. If you do go to the beach, be aware that the entry line is insanely slow and chaotic. People yelling at each other and a police presence, After about 10 minutes in line, we along with several other vehicles left without ever getting in. I suspect the earlier you go the better chance you have.

I showed up to check in and while i was in line I overheard the people in line beside me. They were surprised and happy that they had only booked a 2 bedroom and they were given a 4 bedroom. When I came up to check in they told me that I had booked a 2 bedroom and that they were out of 4 bedroom units. That's not possible because they have limits on how many people are allowed to book a 2 bedroom unit. I went out and got my phone and showed them the reservation that clearly showed my reservation for my family of 7 that was booked for a 4 bedroom. They told me they had none left. I asked them if we could get two 2 bedrooms and switch to a 4 bedroom when one became available. They said they would have one available 2 days later and we waited 20 minutes for them to get it straightened out. They assured us that they would put priority on getting our place ready first thing Sunday so we could get moved early in the day. I also asked if we could have a restaurant voucher for our trouble. They gave us a $60 voucher for 7 people that didn't even cover 5 of us and had an 18% gratuity automatically added. Our cottage wasn't ready early as promised so we decided to go swim while waiting. When our room was finally ready Sunday afternoon we all packed up and left the pool, picked up our cards from the office and went to move our stuff only to find out that they had already deactivated our cards at the first cottages. We had to go back to the office where we were gaslit again. They told us they didn't deactivate the cards and we must have accidently de magnetized our cards. All 3 cards! Yeah right! When we got home I called to try to get a partial refund and was told to call Expedia. They lied and told Expedia that I booked a 2 bedroom and denied my request and made a big deal that they compensated me with the $60 restaurant coupon. Expedia had my booking right in front of them and didn't even fight for me. This was the first time in 11 years that were able to take a family vacation and our first vacation ever with our grandkids. Our daughter has an illness that limits her ability to travel and we had this small window of time to all be together and our first 2 nights together were taken from us. As much as we paid for this place I expected to get what I paid for and not to be gaslit and treated so poorly. The place was otherwise nice and we would have come back but after this, NOT A CHANCE!

Not only is the resort gorgeous, The interiors are decorated so well and kept so clean. There is so much to do right on the resort and you don't even have to leave if you don't want to! They have basketball and sand volleyball courts, a really neat playground, a game room, an amazing cool and so much more! The resort is located right on the lake and you can rent JetSki's straight from the resort. They are so great to everybody who stays there and we have been there several times and they have done guest appreciation nights and provided pizza and other snacks for everybody staying at the resort. This place is so beautiful and has views that are to die for! They even have a water trampoline that sits on the lake that is really fun for kids and adults! They have paddle boards and kayaks you can use as well for free. They really cater to their guests and make sure that it is an excellent time for the whole family!

The only negative, there were a couple pillows on couch, & the back of couch where the back pillow is attached were torn & had holes in them. We took pictures on day of our arrival to show we did not do it. But with so many people renting the cabins you can expect some wear & tear. We had a fabulous time

The evening we arrived, after showering, my feet were black and filthy. no big deal. we mopped the floors with a washcloth. Then the 3rd night, my sister and I realized the couch had a pull out bed. The mattress cover over the mattress was FILTHY!!! There were blood or rust stains, moldy spots. just absolutely disgusting. same with the pillows and bedding comforters in the bedrooms. the furniture (couch, chair and ottoman) were also very old and dirty. we sat on towels if we were sitting on the furniture. the house keeper and mentioned that a guest recently complained about their room being dirty and gross and they were refunded. I tried going to the office a few times to speak with the owners. I was unable to reach them so I sent them an email. the only response I received was "I will send the housekeeper down to investigate ". I polity told the owner I would rather he or his wife come take a look. I never heard back. for paying $100+ a night (just shy of $500 for 4 nights), I was very disappointed. We will not be returning to the Marina Inn. the only positives about the place is the pool and location. I will be happy to remove this post if the owner is willing to respond back and resolve this.

She made sure we felt at home and comfortable during our stay. She was always close by if we needed anything or just to check-in on us. The salt water pool was amazing! The children loved it! We love that the location is close by restaurants and other businesses, but not too close to where there is a lot of traffic. Great room sizes and plenty of space to sit and relax outside! We will definitely come back again!
