The Nantucket resort looks really cute and inviting on the outside. Do not let that fool you. The cottages are nice but the walls are paper thin. We stayed on the bottom unit and you could hear everything the guests upstairs were doing. The worst apart was the cleaning crew. they were extremely loud and did not care that they were waking up many of the downstairs units. We called the front desk to complain but they were very rude and uncaring. Christie was very rude and was the deciding factor in us not buying into this resort property. Customer service is LACKING. Tower can be busy with the sales people and people touring. You can't book on line and it is a secret how many points the rooms are. Feel like they change according to how much they can take from you. Would not recommend getting sucked into their timeshare. A one bedroom will end up costing us about $300 a night. read more

My mom was told she signed up for only $70 a month for 6 months but the reality is she actually signed up for a credit card with them that she has to pay off now. Please warn your parents and grandparents to not get involved with these types of companies. The sales people are the worst types of humans that take advantage of vulnerable people to make money. I will update how much money she is actually out of after their high pressure sales. She is now having to get her lawyer involved as well to get out of the contract. It took 2 nights b4 they offered to change our unit and "compensate" us with something inappropriate. Everything was outstanding! The salesman did a wonderful job, everything has been exactly what he said it would be!!! I could not be happier with my ownership. I have owned a traditional timeshare for years, the maintenance fees were becoming a burden to me and my wife. Thanks to Lifetime Destinations, we are out of that now and their fees are absolutely minimal compared to what I was paying. On top of all this, I was actually able to call, talk to an English speaking lady (who was wonderful) book on my first call as promised, and it's been exactly what they said it would be. We've had this timeshare for a few years, and it's been a frustrating experience. Recently, we were told we can't cancel our membership, which feels unfair considering how poorly things have gone. This property is in a wonderful location. Our kitchen was fully stocked with cooking utensils, plates and silverware. Bed was comfortable. The only downside was two floors of stairs down to our unit. Then two up when leaving. My daughter and her husband would have loved it. However, I am out of shape and after a few days I just stayed and enjoyed the view. The front desk lied to my face on three separate occasions before I finally overheard the truth. When booking, I was assured I would have a beautiful lake view. When I checked into my basement apartment with a view only of the house in front of it, they said that every single lake view room was booked. As I noticed that there were a ton of vacancies that day, they again said that all of the lake view rooms are booked back to back. That next day I realized that I was the only one in my entire building, and they stuck to their story that they are all 'fully booked'. I finally gave up and went to sign the paperwork and overheard another employee telling people who used the same company I booked with (we both booked using our separate timeshare company Interval International), and not their Branson's Nantucket timeshare, that their shareholders must take priority. She even continued on that if you book through Interval International, that they only have access to their 20 worst rooms. She explained it as a selling point to join their timeshare to access the nicer rooms. Additionally, I arrived at 7:30 for check in and the desk closed at 6. I spoke with a young man at the activities desk who was on a private call who very rudely greeted me with 'what do you need' before pointing me to an unlocked box outside with my name, paperwork and key in a Manila envelope. I had no instructions prior to access this box, so it was expected and absolutely his job to help me check in. Their pools and game rooms all close at 8 so I recommend you have some sort of plan for your nighttime entertainment. Do not recommend. read more

We were falsely promised a $50 visa card after getting through their presentation and touring of the property. Beautiful place but noone was willing to help us out. We talked to the gifting shop and they had no power to give us what we were promised. When we went back to the main lobby to talk to them again, the people just walked us out of the door so the other potential buyers wouldn't hear our problems. We were told to leave the property and the guy who walked us out was insanely passive aggressive. Thanks to Lifetime Destinations and Branson Nantucket- Just FYI this company has 157 complaints to the BBB in the last 3 years and 59 complaints in the last year. Not to mention the BBB has a WARNING about this company: Better Business Bureau is advising consumers to use caution when considering doing business with Branson's Nantucket. BBB has received a pattern of consumer complaints alleging failure to cancel a contract, failure to issue refunds, misleading sales presentation and poor customer service. And if that is not enough, check out Fox 2 Channel's report on how Branson Nantucket scammed her elderly family members. But my experience went WAY beyond just these allegations. I have NEVER been treated the way I was by this company this weekend. I am writing to describe some issues I had over my weekend stay at Branson Nantucket. I am a new owner in my first 6-8 months of ownership. On Friday and Saturday (March 8-9) We signed up for ownership this past summer, have been paying monthly and was given a "free" 4 day vacation as a thank you for being owners. My husband had car trouble and could not make it. We immediately texted the man who set the appointment to let him know. We attempted to contact the administrative staff as soon as we knew he was having trouble to come up with another option. At check in, I was told to sign a paper even though I advised the front that my husband was not there, they told me I had to sign his name to the paper because they needed both deeded owners signatures. I still arrived, as directed, to the 8:30 (owner orientation/SALES) meeting and was taken to a back office. The office lady was unhelpful, disrespectful and completely unwilling to listen or understand what the problem was and she preceded to yell at me that she was too busy to deal with me and had other things to do. She left and came back to advise me she had spoken to the man and my meeting was cancelled. I asked to speak with someone else, so she left and began speaking loudly about me in the lobby by her door. She brought the supervisor in to tell me he didn't care what happened I owed them money for each night since my husband was unable to attend. He told me multiple times I was acting like a child and he was calling security. I was sitting in a chair in the office, I was not yelling or threatening anyone. I was asking questions as well as for a little understanding about a situation that was beyond my control. It felt very intimidating and confusing. He began pushing me out, not physically touching me, but coming at me with his body and arms pushing me towards the exit. The supervisor said multiple times that he had "no time" to deal with me because he was too busy so I left and went to get towels for the front desk. He then began telling me I was not allowed in the lobby. I felt uncomfortable and ganged up on. I have NEVER been treated like that. It was way out of control and not necessary. read more

Lifetime Destinations: I thought I'd throw in my 2 cents because my husband and I had a little different experience than most I read on here. Coming toward Branson from the East there is a big welcome center built like a log cabin. We thought it was an official visitor center so we stopped. It was Lifetime Destinations' visitors office. They were knowledgeable about the area and they had lots of area brochures. We soon found out that they were not a Branson welcome center when they started talking about taking a tour of their property. They offered one show but we weren't willing to give up our time because we had so little for this trip. We said no and started to walk away but the desk guy started offering more and more to sweeten the deal. We ended up with 3 major shows and a dinner. They told us it would be 2 hours of our time (and it was) and that we wouldn't be separated from our car (which we had in the past by others). They also said there would be no high pressure sales and I didn't feel like we were pressured at all. No one was rude or angry. The place was beautiful and the view is amazing. The deal sounded great but I don't like making large financial decisions in a short amount of time. I read the reviews here during our meeting there and decided not to buy after really considering it. They let us go with no trouble and we received our tickets with no issue. They do take a credit card number but so far no issues with that. So go get your FREE TICKETS, enjoy the sights and be aware that vacation club are usually not as good a deal as they seem. read more

My husband and I spent a few days at one of these houses on one of his family vacations. The color and decorations of the houses are beautiful! The houses have king-sized beds and jacuzzis in almost every room and bathroom and overall it was a very nice place to stay. The balconies have amazing views of Table Rock Lake too. The only complaint that I have is that the hardwood floors (especially in the kitchen) make your feet filthy. I am not sure what it comes from but the floors should definitely be cleaned more thoroughly, especially in the summer. read more

The hotel/villa and booking staff are excellent, but as for the "time share people" this is how our meeting went with the Time Share people: The front desk person was rather rude, absolutely no courtesy with her. "Get your IDs and credit cards out so we can check you in faster" with a harsh tone! The meeting started late. Then, we were taken in the office of the sales rep whom berated us because we told them exactly how our night and day way going out in the lobby We really were having a bad day and all he had to do was say, "I'm sorry it's not going well." Instead of "It's not my fault, it's not my job." All I said was "it's $hitty to have cars pulling in at night and blinding you." And their sales rep goes nuts. They had multiple reps rush the office yelling at us, screaming at us. Acting like they are greater than thou. All these fake Jesus, hillier than thou, people down here need a real come to Jesus meeting. Is this how Christians are supposed to act?. They want a credit card to "verify" and ID, but really they want to see if you have an open credit line. Air filters are filthy. Internet was down. Lights out side don't turn off and blinds don't really work. TVs in bedroom are small. Parking is tight and limited (not even striped). Bed mattresses aren't upgraded. Dishwasher/kitchen sink are not functional. Stairs are narrow. The place is not geo light friendly (forget seeing the stars). Only one towel rack in the bathrooms. Floors creek. Rails on decks are sketchy/shaky. Top deck sways. Front door is hard to lock. No instructions on the coffee maker. Toilets are small. So this is our last time staying here. It has slowly gotten worse. Since our first visit during Covid years. The game room which was closed the last time we were here is open but closes at 730pm and the pool that once closed at 10 pm now closes at 8 pm so if you are planning on getting a timeshare here I would highly recommend going somewhere else rather than here. The staff that is overlooking the game room area are not friendly and one lady was just down right rude. Yes the pools are nice but not worth it when only opened from 10-8 but if you like to work out the small gym is nice and was told it was open 24hrs. Along with the observation deck. I also am not totally sure if they clean the rooms properly 3 out of the 4 bedrooms we found items from previous guests under the beds, there were cigarette butts on the top balcony table and roof. The floors I don't recommend going barefoot or your feet will be disgustingly black from dirt. The lady at the desk was rude to a little girl just now going to swim telling her she had to be out of the pool at 7:55 cause she had to clock out at 8 pm. I Give this a 4 for the full review who wanted to go to Branson for my grandson's birthday, and it was coming out to 2,000 DOLLARS we went to the presentation because we Chused Branson's low ticket thingy because of it being so expensive the presentation said it was going to be an hour more like four and I broke my ankle, riding my motorcycle because a big bag of maneuver fell out of someone's tailgate of a truck, and they made me walk up to Hills to get two different places. I couldn't drive up that hill. And it was four hours that day we were going to Silverdollar city's white water in the day before we went to Silverdollar city, but we noticed that that place did not have very good service especially at Nantucket we went there. The tower on the 10th floor was pretty and they had a gaming room on the first. I'm going with a free cinema we watched a movie for free in the cinema all by ourselves my son, and my two grandchildren. It was for me and my grandson Vincent's birthday so that's why we went here but back to the point the point is they didn't have very good service because there is food stuck on of the pan when we went into our condo. But it did have free shampoo and conditioner and not gonna lie. The food was pretty epic very close to the strip. One thing, though. If you hear loud kids above 18B1 LEAVE and never come back. That's what we had to suffer through the whole time we were there. (don't leave. Just ask for a different room.) anyways everything it's a four-star, except for the service it gets a one star. read more

I cannot believe we paid what we did to stay. You can hear everything that goes on above you if you are unlucky enough to get stuck on a bottom floor. The beds were so awful that we considered sleeping in the bathtub, because it would likely be more comfortable than the mattresses. The shower door in one of the bathrooms was barely hanging on and none of the doors would shut completely. There are hotels that cost 1/3 of what we paid that are much better. The resort staff is good but the sales people are crooks they sale you a travel deal and it turns out to be a single resort joke.

When we first came to Branson's Nantucket we were meet by Branson Nantucket's representative that explained why our current timeshare with Bluegreen was not "worth the paper it was written on." Branson Nantucket's representative said we would never get a timeshare at Disney or Hawaii because we were not a "premium" vacation club, like Branson's Nantucket. He said we would have no trouble getting a timeshare in either Hawaii or at almost any Disney Resort, as those were the places we told him we were interested in vacationing to in the near future. He told us at that time that he would show us but they were having trouble with the website. Sounds a lot like the Estep vs Branson's Nantucket case (1:16-cv-01158). When I went home and checked a few weeks later to see if we could get a vacation timeshare in either Hawaii or at a Disney Resort, we had no luck. When I called your representative to complain, he never returned my phone calls. Seems to be a pattern with Branson's Nantucket representatives not returning phone calls. We are also sold at that time that this was not a timeshare but a "premium" vacation club. It was different as we would receive a deed in trust for our share of the property. So, we signed up and were paying a little over $200 a month. About 6 months later we received an invitation to come and upgrade our "premium" vacation club. In exchange, we were given a 3 or 4 night stay at the resort for free. This time, Branson Nantucket's representative was even better than the first. When we complained about not being able to book a vacation at Disney or in Hawaii as we were promised previously, he explained that we didn't have enough points. That we needed to upgrade to a better plan. Not only that but it was an excellent time to upgrade because the unit we owned a share in a Branson's Nantucket house that was the only ADA compliant house and that Branson's Nantucket would pay us to use the ADA compliant house. We were also downgraded on the RCI points on this "upgrade" as they needed to use the points. In exchange, we would receive at a minimum $2400 and as much as $4800 at the end of the year (February or March of the following year) for use of out part of the house. We thought this was a no brainer. The payments would go up over $200 per month (a little more than $400 per month), but we would get that back at the end of the year and upgrade our plan. In fact, a "satisfied" customer who was participating in the program came by to thank the Branson Nantucket's representative for the check he received for $3600 in front of us while we were there with Branson Nantucket's representative. This was a scam that was set up by Branson Nantucket's representatives. As a representative of Branson's Nantucket this was fraudulent act as I am sure that the "satisfied" customer was another representative of Branson Nantucket. When we came back in a year to collect our $2400 - $4800, we were again met with another story. We explained that we were there to collect our $2400 to $4800. Branson Nantucket's representative looked at us like we were making things up and we explained what happened. She told us she would be right back. She explained that we had to make referrals in order to get the money. That was not what was explained to us by Branson Nantucket's representative originally. She claimed that she would write our complaint down and refer it to upper management. She said that upper management would get back with us to try to resolve the issues. Of course, we never heard from upper management at Branson's Nantucket, as this seems to be the pattern. We moved on and Branson Nantucket's representative explained that we needed to upgrade again. When she explained that this time there was a "guarantee" of over $400 per month if we were to upgrade, I asked that she include it in writing. She left the meeting to meet with her supervisor. When she returned, she explained that they would not put it in writing because there were things that could happen that would prevent the payment. She used the example of a tornado coming through and destroying the entire property. I told her that the attorneys could put in a clause ("Force Majeure") that would guarantee the payment unless there was some unforeseeable circumstances that prevented Branson Nantucket from fulfilling the contract. She said that they could not do that. I know that is a lie because it is in almost all contracts. read more

Update: this update is from my review of 1 star posted 9mths ago. I finally got to meet with someone at Nantucket to discuss our concerns. This person was very nice and handled herself very professionally. I would say most of our concerns were taken care of but I would not say I'm ready to give 4-5 stars. The beds are very hard and cheap, and the walls are very thin. There is not enough parking room and not enough handicap accessible. There is not much to do here so I wouldn't call it a resort but there they are working on a tower that should be finished this summer that will give a few more options including two swimming pools, an arcade and other activities. I believe it will also house suites. Again I want to say this property is beautiful, our stay was great this time and we love the gorgeous view from the floor to ceiling windows all the way from the kitchen through entire livening room. We stayed in a 3 bedroom with each bedroom having a small tv ok the wall (could definitely be bigger). One bedroom is on the floor and two are on the second floor and the third floor is just a top sun/viewing deck which is super cool. Oh did I mention their is an elevator inside this unit? So cool! The property itself deserves a 4-4.5 star if they fix the beds, parking and activities. I'm not sure it could get to a 5 with not much to do and walls being so thin. And as far as the company and property ownership I do believe they are trying to make things better for their owners and have just recently added a reservation line straight to Nantucket and some shows and mini golf for either free or small fee! We've enjoyed our stay at a 3-bedroom unit at Branson Nantucket. We booked through Sonlight Vacation Rentals for an incredible bargain. The amenities and activity center were fantastic, and they have one of the best fitness centers we've ever used at a resort or hotel. The property is very hilly, so if you struggle with mobility, it might not be the best fit. Our unit was clean, spacious, and comfortable for our party of 8. It was nice to have a washer/dryer so close to the bedrooms, and each room was an en suite. We'd stay here again! read more

I'm an owner. I come here almost once a month to stay for at least a few days. This is lovely property with many options for stays. The property is constantly being upgraded and some units have truly amazing lake views and multiple rooms....some have elevators in units that can whisk you from floor one to floor three in those particular units. I just love getting into an elevator with my morning hot cup of coffee and never spill a drop while going to the uppermost floor to sit and lookout over the lake. I feel quite pampered and imagine myself to be in a lovely lake area somewhere in upstate New York....without having the hastle of airports and delays. Since I live in the Kansas City area I can get here in a few hours and have my car all the while. It's an amazing change of scenery here. So fun. If you choose to be disappointed, well that's your choice. I'm quite content here. read more

I have never been lied to so many times in such a short period of time. My travel companion and I attended a presentation at the Branson's Nantucket location, solely because we were told, repeatedly, that we could divest ourselves of the timeshare we presently own. Another reason we were interested in the program, was that the salesman kept telling us that there would be no exchange fees involved in using the vacation times, like there are with RCI. These things were not true at all and there is so much more that you get yourself into that the salesperson does not even tell you about. You don't find out about the stuff in the small print until you get information that you have to send in more money. There are even clauses in the contract that say, in so many words.... "Don't believe a thing that you hear from our salespeople." I don't know how this business is allowed to operate. I have contacted the Missouri Attorney General, and the Better Business Bureau about the deceptive and unethical practices used to dupe people into signing on to a bogus program. I hope that something can be done to protect the public from these shysters. read more

Brandon's Nantucket will bring the price down from $50,000 to $16,000 if you just say no. Finally they offered me , what they said was a two year program with 60,000 points that can be used in two years time then they will expire. It's only $1,750. If you don't like it then it's over in two years. Normally with a time share you have 5 days to cancel. So after they got me to sign even after telling them I couldn't afford to buy into their program over and over, they encourage you to hurry through the process of signing the contract to get you on your way to vacation. They made the price so low you think your getting a deal. They lie and say you have nothing to lose. I got home and finally had time to read the contract without the pressure of then talking you into just signing this contract. I didn't even realize what I signed. Even though the main points are in large print they don't explain any of that. First they tell you you have to attend a sales presentation on your first stay using this Pathfinder Vacation Package. Next bold letters say after your first stay using this so called two year program you must apply the money that you paid for this two year try out program (the path finders Vacation Package) to the purchase of the Nantucket Resort. If you don't buy it then you forgot the money. They tell you it is a Tri out program when it really is a forced down payment on their resort. They call it a Private Residence Club only so people can not cancel or rescind as you can with a high pressure timeshare sell. They found a way to rip people off and lie to them and have them sign and initial very quickly without going over what you just signed. You have no way of canceling or rescinding. I don't know how this is legal. I will be talking to a lawyer and I did dispute this charge. I can't believe I signed it and initial everything without even knowing what it said. I learned a very big lesson here. They need to make this illegal. I thought any kind of an agreement like this during high pressure sales you would have a chance to cancel. read more

I was misled into purchasing a very expensive timeshare by Branson's Nantucket that we did not want. The sales people are relentless and push you into signing their deal. My husband Jack and I are senior citizens and we are both in declining health and I am now suffering from memory issues, and had to get my son Jeff to help write this complaint for us. We owned a timeshare with Wyndham from 2014 and used our points to travel to Branson, MO in 2018. We were approached about going to a timeshare meeting while there and we told them we were not interested in another timeshare, we were looking for help to get us out of the Wyndham contract, and the agent told us they could do that so we went to the presentation. Once they started talking it became very aggressive and told us that we should purchase a timeshare with THEIR resort, and that they would get us out of the old contract so that we would be paying less and have a better situation. Due to my memory issue I am not really capable of understanding financial programs, and the agents ganged up and somehow convinced us to buy a NEW timeshare with them for $45K with down payment of $9711 a "loan" of $36,449 with an interest rate of 18.9%. After we "bought" the new timeshare, they had a different representative come over who said he would help us exit the Wyndham timeshare. They asked some questions and had us fill out paperwork and we paid them an additional $1600 but nothing happened. My family is angry at the way they took advantage of senior citizens with significant health issues and we called a few days later to try and cancel but were told it was too late and convinced us that we should give them a chance. We went back there in hopes of talking to someone to get out of the deal, and had a "horrible experience." We did not have the "great view" we had been promised. We were stuck in a small apartment setting on the ground floor that was much smaller and different than what had been described. We have asked Branson to release us from this contract, we are unable to travel and were misled into signing, but they have been ignoring us and their collection agents call and verbally abuse me and tell me they will wreck my credit. My wife and I just celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with the family. As owners of Nantucket we are very pleased how the staff goes out of their way to make sure everything is in great shape for us. We had a five bedroom and it was spacious . My family and I stayed here in one of the 3 bedroom 3 story units. Our stay was amazing! The view from the top is beautiful looking out at the lake. It's very peaceful and relaxing here. It's away from the busyness of Branson but only takes minutes to get there or to Silver Dollar City. This has been my family's favorite place to stay in Branson and we will be back, hopefully every year! read more
