I reached out for a quote for roof and wall repairs on Thursday night. Jose came by Friday…read moreafternoon and provided a quote same day. He said he can start the roof repairs that day and come back for the indoor wall repairs on Monday. This was perfect since it was supposed to rain later that night and the next day. He was able to get workers there quickly, and they replaced faulty/missing external vents that allowed water to drain in my house leading to wall damage. He provided before and after pictures as well as a birds-eye view pictures of the roof which was nice to have. The repairs came with 2 year warranties. On Monday, he had a worker come by and begin repairing the drywall. They repaired the damaged wall, bought paint to match the wall, texturized it, sanded, and added two coats of paint, and dried everything all in the same day. As a plus, they let me keep the remaining paint. Some nice touches that were appreciative, they always wore shoe covers and never wore shoes inside. They were cognizant of cleaning up any mess that was created from the work being performed. Even going as far as cleaning the attic to clean up anything that dropped during the roof repairs. They also vacuumed through the entire path that they walked as they left. One final thing that was surprising, as Jose left, he noticed our gate didn't completely close. He let me know he could fix it, 5 minutes later, it works again. The attention to detail from Jose and his team were great.

They stand by their work and word. I worked with Josh Dill for the inspection and follow up fixes and he was excellent. Responded promptly and was very nice. I could not recommend them enough. I can tell that the job they did was superior just by comparing it to the rest of my house where the builder had done a terrible (but typical for a builder) job.

What a lifesaver!…read more Hurricane Beryl was certainly not the most intense hurricane I've experienced here in the Houston area. But it did inflict the most damage to us and many of our neighbors. With a back yard packed with multiple trees, I suppose we were more vulnerable than most. The morning of the storm, our tallest pine - an 80-foot one estimated to be 70 years old - succumbed to the winds and fell. It hit the corner of our detached garage, pulling down our power line weather hood, leaving a huge hole in the garage roof and siding and eventually took out 6 or so other formidably sized trees on the opposite side of our yard while swiping our main home structure. We needed someone to brace the structure of our garage roof and side, tarp it and somehow get the weather hood replaced so when the power did come back on, we would actually be connected. Literally the day after the storm, we had Tom from Summit come to help with the hole in the garage. He braced the interior and had his roofing crew come to tarp the roof. Within days, his electrician came to install a new weather hood so we would be able to get power. At that point we were in the spot to begin planning permanent repairs. And, of course, we had Summit do the work. Re-build of the actual garage structure, new roof, new siding, soffits and trim with paint. Reconnection of a plumbing line to our sink in the garage. Lots of other little repairs that cropped up were also addressed. All of this while Tom is helping us navigate through the insurance claim process, assisting us with submission of pictures, estimates and actually being on site when our adjustor came to evaluate the damage. Now that it's all complete, I only have great things to say about Summit Remodeling & Roofing. Excellent work crews. Great clean up. Beautiful finish to what was once a pretty mangled-looking area of our home. Fair price. Good follow up. We are so pleased with the results - as well as the way Tom helped us and handled the whole situation - and we couldn't be happier. Highly recommend this local business.
