I did it again a year later and signed up for some promotion, that was a first month free thing. The 2nd month was 38.00. Then the 3rd month it was raised to 54. by the 5th month, they sent a email saying in 30 days, the price would be 98. 98 for a 5x5 space?? crazy. Raising the price like that in such a short period of time is predatory and greed. I talked to the person working their, they were new, just like everyone else I dealt with before. I stated my complaint and asked to speak to a manager, but they would not give out there phone # or name, someone called me 5 days later, I returned the call and explained my issue on a VM. They never did answer a call, it always went into voicemail. No correction on the price and now I am moving my stuff before I get gouged on a 5x5 price for 98.00. The person who I spoke to at the location is no longer there either. Must be a high turnover job and a lousy place to work. The last 2 visits, the gate was open, before you used your code. I noticed the roof was leaking now, carts are dirty and its hit or miss on getting one. Going there on weekends is not a good idea. People claim a cart and hang onto them. The hallways are very narrow, if a person is sorting and working in their unit, there is no way to pass and good luck on winding through the maze if that happens and you need to get to your unit.

Well I'm here to set the record straight! I've known these folks for years and have always had the best interactions with them. They're always courteous, go out of their way to be helpful, and certainly never raise their voice or scream at anyone. I don't know what axe the vicious reviewer has to grind, but I urge anyone considering storing their belongings at Prolock to do so with the greatest of confidence. It's just so nice to have a business actually answer the phone, not to mention take their time to answer all questions and concerns. They make you feel like you really matter. That's an A+ in my book!

I did not realize in they had a policy that one needs to give a 10 day notice before vacating otherwise you get charge for an entire extra month even if you're out by the end of the current month. No discount or proration offered when I asked. They say it was in the contract I signed (again three years ago) so they can't do anything about it. "Thanks for your $20,000+ over the past three years. Now F*** off!" is basically what they just said. I hope that last $650 was worth it! Folks considering this place, take this info and do with it what you will. They sure were helpful to include the link to give them Yelp and Google reviews sure made it easier for me to post this.

The truck was ready when I arrived, and the check in process was fast and easy. The nearly new Chevy pickup we rented was not very clean, but drove well and did what we needed. When we returned the truck, they said that the fuel level was 'a hair below where it was when you got it' despite the fact that I had taken pains to leave it at the same level or a wee bit higher. When I finally picked up my car, warning lights were flashing on the dashboard. The installer told me he had accidentally disconnected a parking sensor during the job. A week later, when my niece sat in the rear seat for the first time, I discovered the interior trim had been reinstalled incorrectly, pinching the rear seatbelt so it cannot retract. This is a serious safety hazard. I also found one trim clip badly mangled, consistent with someone using the wrong tool, and a second clip missing entirely on the other side. I now have to take my brand new car to an authorized Toyota dealership for a full inspection before I can even trust that the hitch is safe to use. When I tried to contact U-Haul corporate to file a formal complaint, both of their published email addresses bounced back as undeliverable. If you value your vehicle, I would strongly recommend finding a professional installer elsewhere.
