Biggest mistake. Increased my storage unit rental price 2x in less than a year. I had spiders in my unit so I had to spray bug spray holding my breath everytime I come to remove or put something into my tiny unit. Another issue is that the flat bed carts are not always there off hours, and I don't know where they are at? I look up and down the hall on all the floors, in the elevators and etc. No where to be seen. So I make the trip for nothing as I can't carry all those heavy boxes in to or out of my unit. read more

1st time visiting the place, we were greeted by Carly, the property manager. She answered all our questions and showed us the different units available. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The place is clean, well lit, air conditioned and well maintained. The hours you can access your storage unit is 7 days a week from 6a to 9p. Very convenient. After visiting Storage King, we checked out the other storage place nearby. We decided to go with Storage King mainly because of the staff. had a horrible experience renting a truck from these people. they discriminated against me! wha nerve, to add t that as soon as I left the lot no more than two hours went by and three attempts were made to charge my card for an additional day?! when I wsant due to return the truck until noon the next day. called them to ask why- no answer the following day I extended my rental and as soon as I did the location sent me text threatening to report my Rental as fraud and give the sheriff's department my picture!!! wtf kind of business is that? is that how you treat your customers? or was it just the tattoos? let's see how this plays out! sorry pathetic people there with no respect I wouldnt recommend anyone to go there or use their services!!!! read more

I needed a storage location for my moving needs and saw this location right off the 5 freeway. I walked in to ask for availability (5x10 unit), and was surprised to know there was one unit available. The employees are very welcoming and courteous. The location is very clean and organized. I like the fact that you need your code access to enter and exit property as well as utilize elevators. Your belongs are very secured here. There is also moving storage carts for your loading and offloading needs too. Location and hours are very flexible. Pricing will vary depending on units and sizes, which I'm very pleased with the monthly cost for my unit. I would definitely recommend this location for your storage needs! read more

Almost a year since getting my unit broken into and still nothing. Storage King says the insurance I paid for cannot cover anything because there was "no clear means of breaking and entering." My lock was tagged and targeted amongst others. Since the staff wouldn't check cameras I'm starting to think it was an inside job and this company is behind it. Very suspicious since they switched ownership. Legal action will be pursued. read more

My girlfriend and I started a month-to-month contract with Great Value Storage early this year. Within 6 weeks, Great Value Storage sold their facility to Storage King USA and only notified their customers once the companies had already exchanged hands. We pay more than the regional amount for our storage unit due to the convenience and distant from our house compared to other storage services. This morning we received a letter that the price of our unit would be increasing from $190 a month to $230 effectively immediately. This is a ~25% increase in our monthly rate for our storage unit which already costs about 10% more than the regional average. Frustrated, we called the storage king facility and asked to speak to a manager. The woman who answered the phone didn't hand the line to anyone else and didn't specify whether she was the manager or not. She told us that the rate increase would stand no matter what, and that they had the right to change the terms of their month-to-month services whenever. She also mentioned that raising the price of the month-to-month contract is normal for their company. She even had the audacity to claim that we were already receiving the unit at a discounted rate and implied that we should be happy were already paying so little. They will admit openly to you that they will change your month-to-month rate, and there is nothing you can do about it. Steer clear of this company. They will jerk you around and act like its your fault when you file a complaint. Unprofessional and bad business practices. Keep your money and go somewhere else! We will be very soon. read more

The most incredible storage facility I've ever used!! No exaggeration. I am blown away by this place! Not only is the place immaculate. So clean, smells good, and looks brand new, but also, the air conditioned units are sooo nice. Never had an air conditioned unit before. Why was I torturing myself?! This is like having your storage unit in a hotel. Elevators and entire building are nice and cold which is so great for when you are moving and getting all hot carrying things. The units were some of the cheapest around too. Can not tell you enough good things about this place. Super secure building, beautiful lobby with tons of storage necessities that you can buy, wine storage, plenty of parking, tons of nice big carts you can use, etc. from the units to the halls to the parking lot...the entire property is kept super clean. Truly feels like a high end luxury building that just happens to be a storage facility and with great prices! I must say though, above all, the true SHINNING STAR of the place is ROBERT, the facilities manager. He is so extremely kind, patient, knowledgable, and helpful. I would truly go here just for him. I feel like I should tip him every time I speak with him, he's that wonderful. He's always there when you need him and he really truly cares about you, your belongings, and the facility. I hope he is compensated greatly for his work there because he is a truly rare breed of hardworking gentleman. Lastly, and this is tmi, unnecessary, and perhaps inappropriate, but he is incredibly handsome....like movie star hot. Sorry, had to be said! So yes, all in all, trust me when I say I have scoped out tons of facilities that were busted, old buildings with leaky pipes and rude staff that cost more than this place. I rented from Great Value Storage and had a 10'x10' unit. didn't pay more than $100 and it was amazing. I ended up moving into a 5'x10' unit to save some money. Now that Storage King took over, they've done 2 rent increases and I'm about to be paying $139 plus taxes and fees. Much different than the $89 I used to pay. I've been in contact with the employees at the facility, and I am being gas-lit by them. They are telling me that they provide this information at all lease signings, however I remember my lease signing very clearly as I was verbally assaulted and threatened by another customer. I was in need of a storage and after checking several companies I found storage king. Not only they had better prizes than the competition but their units stay pretty cool, clean and very secured. They have flat bed to help you unload and the elevators are big. The best part of my experience was, I had given my last month notice but unfortunately on the last day I couldn't fit everything in my moving truck so I call them the two days later(happened on a Saturday) to explain my situation and they were very understanding and let me stay for another month with no additional late fee. I'm on auto pay and still get a letter threatening charges for late fees! I don't get it. Going to remove my things as soon as possible. Storage units nice. cool inside moderately priced. Paid for unit and next day they had not removed their lock. Wife and I noticed multiple cockroaches in elevators on more then one occasion. I recently rented a storage unit here and it could not have been a better experience. The service that Robert, the general manager, gave was truly 5-Star, first class service. He is so pleasant, kind, accommodating, and helpful. He goes way out of his way to ensure you are taken care of every step of the way. The facility itself is perfectly maintained, extremely clean, and looks brand new. Like a big sterile, beautiful fortress or hotel. The building is super secure, requiring your access code to get through every gate and door and in to the elevators (you can only access your floor). They have amazing surveillance with incredibly hi-definition cameras which is great. The unit we had was in the air conditioned building which was so nice when moving items around on hot days. Great location right next to the freeway and better prices than everywhere else we looked (and those places weren't climate controlled). They have tons of parking and the parking lot is so big you can get an 18-Wheeler moving truck pulled right up to the elevator bank. Makes for very easy, convenient moves. The front office has a little shop to buy packing supplies, nice private restrooms, and even has a wine storage facility. The other facilities we toured were hot, dirty, and bare with rude, uninformed staff. This place feels very lux, like walking into a BMW dealership or something. Honestly, if you are looking for a storage facility TRULY look no further. I promise you..you will be absolutely blown away by Robert and Storage King USA. I was genuinely sad when we finally moved out of our unit (finally found a house) because we love this place so much. Maybe we will be back one day! read more
