Newhall Valencia Mini Storage is probably the best storage company I've ever used. I kept my belongings there for almost three years and never once had any problems with safety or security. The property is very well-maintained and is very secure. They keep the gate, doors, and locks secure and regularly updated. There are cameras everywhere, and the staff monitors all the goings-on regularly. No riff-raff or bad elements here. But even with all the security, all and all the best part about this company is the staff. Joann is professional and accommodating, and was very patient with me during a very difficult time for me personally and professionally, as Covid had a big impact on my business and I was regularly late with my payments. She did her best to work with me during uncertain financial times, and that meant a lot to me. If security and cleanliness is as important to you as it is to me, then this is your place. If the convenience of driving up to your door (instead of hassling with stairs or elevators), is as important to you as it is to me, then this is your place. Update: This storage facility was fair and honest about correcting a increase in my rental fee. I had received an increase in rental fees after a month of using this facility and I brought it to the attention of their customer service department and they quickly corrected the mistake which I'm very happy to report because other than this isolated incident, I've been extremely happy with the services provided and the rental unit itself. If I could give a negative star I would. The manager Jerry is a control freak. He yells at you about anything he can find that he doesn't like. Even after I told the owner what was going on she said I could always move...so I did. I paid my rent on time for a yr and a half, moved out 5 days before my rent was up and now have gotten a notice half way into the next month for my full fee and a $5 late fee. Also I had 2 letter evicting me. I guess Jerry is trying to get back at me for telling the owner how he was harassing me and verbally abusing me. What a terrible way to run a business!! read more

I have been a customer for years now and am getting ready to move. throughout the entire time, the facility has been clean, safe and easy to get to get in and out of. One particular person, Joanne, has been there as long as I have. She has always been friendly and helpful. Passed this page by accident and just could not let them get away with these faux reviews. If you note all these recent reviews are with in a small window of time this year and worded very specifically and very detailed for 'people' using a storage facility in passing, so either they are friends, management or provoked to write a review as new tenets - so they don't know jack. The truth is this is an old place with some steel buildings and old wood buildings. The prices went up a lot in the last few years and now seem higher than other places. Know a handful who moved out just this year. I have had leaks in my unit and I have seen what looks like people living in their units. Its about as safe as a prison since my friend's RV was broken in to and he knew 2 others broken in to in the past year or so. One review said 'close to the 5 and 14' what?! Its a maze to get to. I got my unit years ago and the guy at the front desk who was always there could always be seen walking the yard and maintaining it. I have never even seen or met the new people so what does that say? The Kirk H. review is the only honest one. "Its a mini storage." All I would say is check around for prices first. read more
