We've been renting from this location for about 8 months or so, and so far we like it very Much. Eldwin who is an employee there is very professional and helpful, Vicky as well. Just like every storage it has its Pros and cons but we like the pros here. But a business having helpful & understanding employees, sounds like a win win. If I could give this location 10 stars I would. First, opening rates were great less than other places. And was informed of the rate increases, which is standard at all storage unit companies. Even after an increase it was less than Public Storage. Everything was upfront and clear. Was notified a month in advance of any increase. The staff, phenomenal. Vicky is so professional and friendly. The rest of the staff the same. I actually enjoyed going to my storage unit. The entire property is immaculate. The air conditioning was awesome. They provide huge carts that make things much easier to transport from the car. Moving out was seamless and easy. I just can't say enough good things about this location. If you love sudden price hikes, rude customer service, and getting charged extra for everything, then StorQuest is the storage dream you've been waiting for! (They even charge extra for being able to access your unit after 6:00 p.m. UNBELIEVABLE!) I signed up at a decent rate--only to watch it skyrocket with no explanation. The call center? Utterly useless. Rude, unhelpful, and clearly trained in the art of not caring. Customer concerns go straight to the trash. It's like they're actively trying to lose your business. Save yourself the headache and store your stuff literally anywhere else. I found another storage unit .. same size, great safe area at half of what they were charging me. I booked on-line through a third party and "Victoria" from StorQuest called me right after I logged off. That was quick! And this was Sunday too. I made an appointment to come in on Monday. I wanted to drop by another facility but dished that because "Vicky" gave me an awesome tour and I had some of my things in the car. The place looked clean and secure. There's nothing wrong with the facility; good selection of units, high security, cooled hallways. But they move you in on a price special and then increase your rent every quarter. I'm not kidding. We've had the unit for a year and went through 3 rent increases already. Just got a letter for the next increase. I strongly recommend you don't rent here because you don't have any way of knowing what this unit will be costing you a few months later. read more

I got a unit at this location to find out just two months later that they were substantially raising the rate. I shopped around to find the best rate in storage with this being the most affordable, now it is not. It looks like they lock you in at what seems like a competitive rate to then turn around and raise the rate once you've moved all your stuff in. Very disappointed! read more

Nice new clean state of the art high tech modern climate controlled secure facility with ease of access. everything is brand new. Staff are friendly easily available and helpful very knowledgeable. If I could give this place zero stars I would choose that. At the Calgrove location a few minutes after 9pm my fiancé and I tried to leave after getting some of our things. Which it was a few minutes after hours we weren't planning on running a little late. Not to mention we have a climate control unit inside and it was not air conditioned inside while we were there. It was a little warm. Why did we pay extra then for that? We have left after 9 before and didn't get locked in or any issue. We had an autopay unit so access was open until 9pm as said on the website if you have autopay. The on-site manager lady to leave the gate offered zero help and was very disrespectful and said there is a do not disturb sign we are disturbing her and need to call the police to exit the gate. We literally were locked in and just wanted to go home, we clearly needed on site assistance with leaving. Why are you an onsite manager then? You don't want to help your tenants.The lady was deliberately rude and offered zero help. This is never how you treat a person let alone tenants that are giving your company business and money. We have taken our business elsewhere due to the random price increases with no notice, and this vile interaction with the manager. We had a unit there for about a year and the price increased pretty often with no changes to the facility or unit. read more

And the Storquest staff, especially VICKY at the SCV location, exemplifies the utmost professionalism while always showing her genuine care and concern for my needs, matched by her willingness to do whatever it takes to make her clients happy. She really goes above & beyond and has the patience of a saint. I'm grateful she has been my point manager over the past year, as I went through a few personal losses & challenges which lead to my need for my move and a storage unit, and she was there to help me in any way she could, every step of the way. This place is an absolute rip off. Our units went from $125 to $443 a month in just over a year! When we have had to call for customer support their people at the call center are offensive, verbally abusive, and unhelpful. When called on their disgusting attitude they hang up on you! Find literally anywhere else to store your stuff. read more

Best storage facility I've ever used. I've been in the middle of a move and StoreQuest has been excellent. The facility is brand new, clean, has a loading dock, and plenty of carts. I've been waiting for this facility to open since September 2022. I can relate to the frustration of having to wait a long time and perhaps slow response time before they officially opened for business... but I'm not gonna fault them for not calling back right away, when things online clearly said they weren't open yet. I get that they are at the mercy of the city to pass inspection and give them the green light when they can open. I'm sure they wanted to open ASAP since they were probably losing money every single month they weren't allowed to open. I waited a total of 7 months. That being said... I opted to send an email inquiring (that I was interested in a drive up unit) and I did get a response back letting me know the situation and that they hoped to be allowed to open in the next few months. I didn't get weekly or monthly updates, but I took it upon myself to also follow up when months went by... I did follow up via email and I would get a response within a day or 2. They did stop providing an ETA, because the dates kept getting pushed back and I assume they really didn't know when the city would issue them proper permits and wanted to set proper expectations. Eventually, last month, I saw the banners go up that they were now open... but when I followed up, I learned that they were only allowed to open a certain sections and drive ups weren't "open" yet. Then I got the email this past weekend that they had drive up units open and available now. Be aware, due to the red tape, the facility isn't 100% open yet. I quickly realized that rather than keep asking questions via email, it would just be better and faster to go in and take a look at the units. The facility looks great and is pretty spacious... it is brand new, so that is to be expected. Even the office area looks really nice. The staff was friendly, professional, and helpful. I was helped by Gary and he showed me a unit, gave me some details, and I said "I'll take it." lol I'm sure I was an easy customer too, but the whole setup process was quick and easy. The unit I got was exactly what I was looking for and was about the price I expected/budgeted as well. I rented a 10x10 drive up at another facility further away about a year ago, but here I got a 10x20 that was closer to home for about $88 more. So I'm satisfied. Be sure to ask if they have any promotions going on, I got my 1st 2 months at 50% off, so that was a bonus. Setting up auto-pay also gives you little bit more "access" time from 6a-9p. So far I've had a great experience and I recommend this facility. read more

I called about RV storage. They had a space available. 10x34 for 195/mo. We confirmed all my necessary information for placing my (Class C) RV here. I have been looking for a while so I knew what to ask as far as price. I asked, how much will you increase and when do you increase prices? She then told me that this was an introductory price and good for 3 months. SO, in 3 months my price will increase. I asked, how much will my rent increase? She said it is based on market rate and demand and she would not know until the 3 month period is over. It is set by corporate and the would let me know 30 days in advance of the increase. Okay.. I would be in this spot, get a 30 day notice that it could go up by 100 and have to pay it or vacate. This seems a little unreasonable to me. I will keep looking. read more

Rent a storage today at StorQuest Self Storage in Santa Clarita CA 91381, stop by yesterday to take a look at the place, little hesitant to go there because of a couple of negative reviews on yelp, but went there because of the location and its a new building only few months old, to my surprise I had a great vibe as soon as I walked in to the building, Vicky greeted me, what a great facility everything seem new, even the bathroom with sign noted if not satisfied cleaness of the bathroom, notify the management, wow never seen that before, details. When I rented my unit, I was told if I chose auto-pay, I had until 9:00 p.m. to enter my unit and that there would always be one dolly available for use. Now, that has changed without any email or directive. I complained to the Regional manager, Robert Arredondo, and his response was, "If you want your money back, we can do that for you." Why would a manager respond to a customer in such a disrespectful, angry way? This person has zero people skills and should never be in a position of power. Most of these facilities are the same; once you rent, you become a number, and they could care less. read more
