Yesterday, I worked with Amanda to help me get set up with a storage unit at this location (#29178) and was VERY pleased with her help!! Amanda was very professional and relayed everything I needed to know regarding the storage unit. I would recommend Amanda and the Via Princessa Public Storage to anyone in the area with storage needs. The facility is very clean, secure, well constructed, and convenient (close to the Antelope Freeway/14). Amanda will set you up with exactly what you need!! read more

I want to give a huge shoutout to Keisha at Public Storage because she truly went above and beyond for me and my daughter. From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with the warmest energy and made us feel genuinely welcomed. You can tell right away that she cares about the people who walk through those doors, not just the job. Keisha took her time explaining every detail to me -- pricing, unit sizes, insurance, gate access, all of it -- in a way that was super easy to understand. She didn't rush me, didn't make me feel pressured, and was extremely patient while I asked a million questions. It honestly felt like she was guiding me the same way she would guide her own family. What really stood out was how kind she was to my daughter. She talked to her, kept her comfortable, and made the whole process so smooth even though we had a lot going on that day. That little bit of extra kindness made a world of difference. She helped me find the perfect unit for my needs, made sure everything was set up correctly, and double-checked that I understood every step before I left. She's professional, knowledgeable, and has the kind of customer service you just don't find everywhere anymore. If you're considering renting a storage unit, ask for Keisha. She turned a stressful situation into an easy, positive experience. Public Storage is lucky to have her! read more

Customer service was above and beyond - had some issues on the account with another location in another state. Alex was able to explain what was going on and fix the issue in under 5 minutes. Staff is really nice and try to help and explained why the issue happened - highly recommend this location - it is clean and well cared for and you can't beat the staff. Thanks Alex! read more

The workers on site are great however this company is very criminal. They raise the price on us five or six different times and are about twice the price of all the competitors on top of that we vacated our storage unit early and they didn't prorate us and took a whole month worth of rent and didn't give it back horrible company. read more

Service was top notch. Alex was the most helpful property manager I've had in my experience with Public Storage. Highly recommend , if service is important to you. Responds quickly to any questions and actively tries to help. Great location as well. read more

Markeisha was very helpful and got me and my family the unit we needed at a great price!

Keisha was helpful today with my questions as a new renter with Public Storage unit and was kind, professional and informative.

Alex at the Via Princessa location has amazing customer service skills and is very helpful. He made my move in very efficient and quick, answered all my questions and followed up with me to make sure everything went well. He even addressed an issue I had with a very rude person who made me uncomfortable on the property quickly! Overall he made the experience 10/10! read more

Alex is the MAN! Appreciate your support and assistance. Heard me out and received prompt resolution.

When I started to store my things here it was three years ago and I was paying $300 for a 10 x 20 and $160 for a 7.5 x 10 I think. Now I am paying $616 and 434 for the other. It Is Highway robbery . My storage space got broken into once already so for me to have to pay so much For something that started off so little it would've been better for me to stay in an apartment. read more

The staff here are amazing. Very friendly, quick and efficient, and helpful! The location is fantastic as well; right off the freeway, across the street from groceries and fuel (costco), every unit is ground-floor drive-up so it makes loading/unloading extremely convenient. I use an app to open the gate and can send my coworkers virtual keys to open it when they need in and I'm not there. Very clean facility too. read more

They raise the rental fee whenever they want with no notice. In the last 7 months they have raised it $100.

I came in last minute needing a couple units and i was greeted by Daisy. She really will help you with any problems or concerns and she even let us check out the units before we made up our minds, definitely recommend speaking with her!!! read more

Rental fees were raised after a few months. Not by a few dollars, but over $100! They said you're not allowed to get another unit for cheaper and move your items. It's a racket! Stay away! Doing my best to move out soon! read more

Great service and very clean place. The facilities are very accommodating as well. The price was just right

Don't expect anyone to hold your reservation here, even if you book thru the website in advance. I would avoid mentioning if you're switching from one unit to another vs being a brand new customer. We moved to a different location bc this p**sed me off & the manager was rude about it. read more

Easy location and very friendly staff, I was able to get my rental with absolutely no issues what do ever. The staff at the counter mage check out a breeze. read more

The Employee services has been 5 star. They are eager to help and have gone out of the way to be accommodating. The facility is in great shape. The PS phone App to open the gate and doors works great and is very convenient when you remember to turn on your GPS and Bluetooth when using it. The electro-magnetic locks on timers that hold the building doors open for 30 minutes is fantastic. The only reason I'm giving this facility a four-star overall rating is because they have only one cart for the whole facility. It would be five stars if they had a couple carts for each building. Because undoubtedly every time I show up somebody's using the one cart and I have to make five or six trips instead of one with a cart from my truck my unit. I was emptying my house into the storage unit and I just went and bought my own flat roller dolly at Home Depot. read more

This was a very good place to go to provide my storage needs. The staff was friendly and very helpful I was having a hard time finding my unit and she walked me directly to it show me how to use the lock, and directed us what to do after hours if she was no longer there. I will recommend Public Storage place for anyone who needs storage and it doesn't cost that much neither read more

My husband and I are moving to Minnesota from a different state and are in need of a storage. Desiree in the Woodbury office helped us wrap up one of the many items on our "to do" list, securing a storage unit. She was extremely friendly and helpful and more I have one less thing to worry about. Thank you Desiree!! read more

Maria provided excellent customer service, calling me to let me know that the lock was not secure. Took the time to show me what to do so as to avoid theft. I appreciate their due diligence in making rounds to ensure that everyone's storages accurately locked. Much appreciate it! read more

Maria (property number 29178) offered excellent customer service! She made everything very clear, toured us, and ensured we understood all steps, rules and gave us options. She's very friendly, professional, and thorough! She told us about the current promo and even reminded us of needing boxes and mattress covers. Very good employee! Thank you so much Maria for making it a pleasant experience! :) read more

Overall very happy with the staff, storage unit, and price. My husband and I rented a unit for a few months while we were in between homes. I also forgot to notify the staff when we moved out so I was worried I would be charged an additional month. However, they somehow knew we were moved out and checked us out. The whole process of moving in and out was pretty seamless. read more

This particular location, 18650 Vía Princessa, Santa Clarita, CA 91387, gets zero stars. I haven't had my unit for an entire month yet and someone broke into it and destroyed my things. The office was exceptionally nonchalant about assisting. I strongly recommend you NOT using this facility. STRONGLY! 5/3/2019 read more

A million stars for the girls and the trainees. The 3 stars are for the prices. Please understand that if people are moving into a unit. They are going through a life event. Money, family, and or other factors have pointed us to require a storage unit. The prices are too high. Again the staff was awesome- Please understand that the first impression last forever- Your competition less than a mile away have the same or larger space for half the amount. I would not recommend the place. Sorry. Especially if the prices fluctuate from 185.00 to 210.00. In under a week. Supply and demand - I get it. But business would increase if there was a "first few months- discounted to leave an overall impression of good faith " Thank you. read more

I recently rented a storage unit during a hectic time of my life going through a divorce. Samantha made this process so easy and was so helpful during the whole process! We were able to reserve the storage unit prior to showing up which ensured no one was able to rent the unit. She was kind enough to extend the hold when we pushed back the moving date. Samantha was so kind during the process and showed us several units until we were happy with the one that suited us best. She definitely went above and beyond. The technology at this place sets it apart from other facilities. read more

Can't complain since I was able to get a 10'x20' climate controlled unit for just $1 (not including the mandatory insurance or the one-time $22 admin fee)...great deal even with the hidden insurance that I wasn't aware of beforehand. My sales experience with Tara was very positive. She showed me the unit, answered my questions, and went over the paperwork with me. Felt that the customer service was very good especially when considered with the cheaper options out there. Thank you, Tara! You provided me with great customer service! read more

Vanessa did a wonderful job of helping us move from 2 smaller spaces to 1 larger one. We were able to save money, consolidate our stuff, and make the Public Storage experience easier all the way around. We would unhesitatingly recommend Vanessa and the Via Princessa Public Storage to anyone in the area with storage needs. The place is clean, well constructed, and convenient (close to the Antelope Freeway/14). And Vanessa will set you up with exactly what you need. Good Luck! read more

Great place. Amanda was very helpful, and I appreciated it. I like how clean and well-designed their storage units are. I'm moving and had filled a unit in West L. A. Now I live near this location on Via Princessa so I'm switching all my stuff to this area until I have time to go through it all and purge. This place is very nice. read more

We thought we were moving up here and rented a storage unit but after my grandma passing away, we don't need to move her to the senior living place and put her stuff in storage. We paid this month and next in cash and THEY WONT REFUND US a single penny. Not even for the month we paid in advance. After explaining the situation over the phone the woman on the phone are heartless and unsympathetic. The last thing we need at this time is to lose out on $400. Your companies "policies" should be changed and adjusted so that in the future we would consider renting from you but I'll make sure everyone I know doesn't rent from public storage as a company. read more

They increase rent prices without telling you!!! And their website doesn't allow you to change your payment method so you get incurred with a bogus late fee! And they rarely leave the restrooms open because the employees are too lazy to clean it. I will be moving to another storage. This place is rip off! Stay far away!! read more

I hate this place. Poor customer service. DO NOT COME HERE!!! It's a lie!!! Bad business. It's a rate of negative ZERO (no option for me to rate that in order to post this comments). Booooo!!! read more

Great customer service, Amanda was knowledgeable, made it easy to get the storage unit that I needed.

My unit was broken into in January. Even with security code gates , security code doors, and key locks on the units, I was one of 8 units that was broken in to. Even with the required insurance, I get nothing in return for these theives taking a few of my possesions . How am I supposed to provide proof of my belongings if I've had them for years ?! It's my stuff in my unit, I should be compensated for that stuff being stolen! And then their rates go up after I've been there less than a year! What is that crap??? I'm only there because it is still cheaper than other places I've looked. Hopefully I'll be out before they raise the rates next time around. read more

I've definitely experienced a bit better than this, but it's alright for a temporary unit. Good location, a quarter mile off the 14 Freeway across the street from Costco. Easy to get in and out, clean, well kept property. Beware, most of their units have this new locktype (it actually slides into this frame in the door) and I don't think they're super easy to buy, except through Public Storage. But they charge you $18 for this small piece of metal with three keys; preventing you from using your own lock. I think some of their outside drive-up units still have the regular locking mechanism (whereby you can use your own lock and not have to pay their inflated prices on a lock you'll probably never use again unless you go to another Public Storage). read more

Amanda provided "Nordstrom" like Customer Service throughout my experience!
