My unit 5'x10' was less than $20, not bad but not the cheapest, but they keep trying to raise the rent. It's a bait and switch tactic, they know moving is a pain and charge you accordingly once you're settled. I wish there were a way to lock in a rate for 12 or even 24 months rather than have to either pay the extra rent or move to a different unit. If they can't keep my rent the same, I'll have to find a different storage facility.

I emailed them a copy of the receipt with no response. I called when they opened this morning. She was extremely rude with an attitude and ended up hanging up on me so I called right back. Another woman answered. She was just as rude to me, said I still owed it even though it shows on my bank statement and the receipt from them themselves, they said they got a notice from the bank so it didn't go through, but that's not what it shows on my end and they are no help. All they did was talk over top of me when I told the second person I talked to that she was extremely rude and that I planned on giving them a bad review she literally" I don't care" she didn't let me talk. Never answered any questions and was just as rude as the first girl if not worse and she's the one that runs it. And from what I know you're not allowed to live in storage units well, the first day I got mine when she was giving me the directions to get to it drive past the privacy fence that's where one of my employees lives with her family.... like what you have people living in a storage unit that you're not even allowed to put food in make it make sense. I think they should be turned in for letting somebody live in the storage unit.

The next two months I got an additional $15 charge for their insurance. In their defense, when I mentioned it after the second month of getting charged (even though I said it in the beginning) they asked me to email them a copy of my insurance and they would refund it. They did. But then right after my most recent paid notification I get a notification that rates are changing. This is only 3 months after moving in. And it didn't go up just a little. It went from $32 to $55 to "meet financial demands." Going to look for another place, but I feel I did a lot of research to choose this one and the rug is being pulled from beneath me and add spinal stenosis to the mix and this company is my least favorite right now. The Manager Marvin is very nice and worked with me to get a better price after each increase , however their rates for the amount of space you get just is not worth it (mind you this is for a small outside storage unit ), I also expect to pay the price advertised. Onsite Management is great, Extra space storage as a company not so much.
