We have been at this storage facility since June, and I have nothing bad to say about the quality of service, cleanliness of the units, and the people are top notch. If I could give a 0 I would. Our experience was a nightmare. I rented a non temperature-controlled storage unit (#7004) from SNG for 9 months from last summer until March 2019. In that time our storage unit had a family of mice move in and left plenty of feces and urine all over our stuff. We paid approximately $1,100 to SNG and lost about $5,000 in personal property (couch, other furniture, mattresses, box springs, love sacs, etc.). This occurred right as we were moving into our new house. When we moved in we had to threw a lot of items away immediately and kept the rest in the garage. It was only a few weeks later that I was opening box and discovered the nest with four rotting corpses of baby mice. I checked on our items frequently (at least a bi-weekly basis), had no food in the unit, and were not forewarned by SNG that a mice infestation was possible. There was no way for the mice to access our unit except through the adjoining units, which was clear by the debris and hair patches I found from them squeezing through from unit 7003. SNG told me to read the contract, so I did. Any dispute must be resolved through arbitration and they disclaim any damage by rodents but that clause is buried on pg. 6 of the contract. There was no warning on their website about rodent-proofing your storage unit. I would have paid the $20 for traps, dryer sheets, peppermint oil and other deterrents that I read about AFTER the fact. We paid the extra $9 a month for insurance but they only cover $500 of damage by vermin. I am still in the process of working with the insurance company on that claim. My renter's insurance didn't cover any of the damage. Here are a few of the explanations I received from Joe for why SNG was not liable (aside from the contract terms which disclaim all liability and include the only mention of vermin damage): 1. We set traps around the property so you shouldn't have problems (weak). 2. You stored in a non-temperature-controlled unit, so what you get is what you get (I guess I should have stored our items in a barn - they would have been just as protected). 3. We can't control what happens in the units (um, it's on your property?). 4. You obviously had something in the unit that attracted the mice (um, no, no we didn't). 5. We won't agree to mediation at the Ohio State Law School (even though it is free). Yeah, Joe is a nice guy but he is beholden to the owners and they prefer profit over people. They didn't seem to mind that I would post this review. I could have taken SNG to arbitration but the loser pays the legal fees of the other party and that is too much of a risk when I am already out of pocket over $6,000. They offered me a one month refund. Big whoop. I couldn't recommend SNG any less. It could have been much, much worse if we had stored our items for a longer period. BEWARE! read more

So Uhaul does this thing where they will confirm your reservation through an email, ev n let you pe-check in and pay for it, but nothing is actually reserved because they will contact you a day later to tell you it isn't available or you have to go somewhere else. I don't like it, but now I know. The real story comes next. When the guy called he told me I would have to run up to Delaware to get the trailer. i told him it would be cutting it close to their closing time but I would make it. He said it was fine. The guy behind the counter was furious with me because I showed up at 5:25. I had done all the precheckout stuff to make it quick, but my wife was going to meet me with the truck to haul the trailer. The furious man behind the counter told me that he has a 6:00 appt he can't miss and it is a half hour away and that he has to hook up the trailer. I immediately said, sell me a hitchball and we'll hook it up to the Murano. I literally added "whatever gets you out of here sooner" He took a while typing while shamelessly blaming me for things that no longer mattered since I was using the Murano. I was there for 13 minutes and he called and cancelled his appointment (loudly so I could hear). I get an email asking for my review, so I filled it out. The angry guy emails me personally still blaming me: Mr. Walton, Upon reviewing the notes regarding your Uhaul rental on October 5th , it appears as though you made the reservation on the 3rd, and a Uhaul representative spoke with you and emailed you on October 4th, confirming your reservation for trailer pickup at Stop-N-Go Storage at 4:30 on October 5th. Even if the Uhaul rep you spoke with did not tell you the pickup location, it was in the email that you received shortly after your conversation. When you called here around 4:45 on the 5th, I made it very clear to you that you must be here no later than 5:20 to complete your reservation. I also informed you I am required by Uhaul to hook up the trailer to your towing vehicle, in order to complete your rental. Unfortunately for me, you showed up at 5:25, without the proper towing equipment or the vehicle you wished to tow the trailer, with. Because of this, I was forced to cancel a very important appointment, which I have still been unable to re-schedule. From what I can tell from Uhaul's notes, you were given sufficient notification about where and when you were expected to pick up the trailer. It's unfortunate that you would post a negative review on Uhaul's website to try to dissuade other people from doing business, here, when it seems your unpreparedness is what caused the situation to escalate. Stop-N-Go Storage So I responded: Everything in your email is irrelevant since I decided to use the Murano. I told the uhaul rep on the phone it would be cutting it close since he said Delaware was the only location with the trailer. He maybe should have told me you close at 5:20 instead of 5:30 like your website says. So to correct many errors in your email: 1) you were not forced to cancel your appointment because I showed up without proper towing equipment. I purchased a 2" inch ball from you. I'm not sure the time it takes to ring it up bc you were typing for several minutes, but i watched you put it on and that was less than 30 seconds. 2. You were not forced to cancel your appointment because I showed up with the wrong vehicle. Once you said something, immediately agreed to tow it with the Murano. That decision took less than 30 seconds. 3. Sufficient notification is completely irrelevant since I did nothing to slow you down. 4. I've done nothing to dissuade anyone yet. I left an accurate review of my opinion because I received an email asking for it. You've alluded continuously that I've done something wrong. I have not. I showed up at 5:25, pulled out at 5:38. Everything in between was me waiting on you. 5. The situation did not escalate and I was not unprepared. I know you were angry, that was obvious. But besides blaming me, which I let slide at the time, you did not cuss, insult or act rash. I did the pre-checkout online to speed it up. It is unfortunate that you canceled your appointment, but your blaming the customer for their review and missing your important appointment has been factually inaccurate ,unprofessional and misplaced. read more

I am happy with Stop N Go. The owner is friendly and helpful, the storage is convenient and clean. My only suggestion would be some kind of gutter. I got very wet from the run-off putting things in while it was raining. I love how secure the facility is. read more
