Stop N Save has been here for decades. just a few gas pumps in front, a few parking spaces. 2 long aisles of wines, snacks, groceries. 1/2 of beers are priced or mispriced. tried to buy a pure leaf mango tea. cashier told me "2..59+ ...." told him the tea next to it was "2.09". (see pic) told him i was putting it back. don't believe the prices posted. it's wrong for whatever reasons. read more

This is the CHEAPEST gas station in all of CV. Why it's a bit hidden off the main road it's not the nicest place but it does offer the cheapest PAY cash for gas in the area. If you don't love your car and want to give it super high quality gas there is nothing wrong with saving some money and putting gas from this location. They have a pretty big store inside where many people buy high quality and low quality beer and bottles Just be warned it's not cheap and it's a bit more then like a 7/11 or something along that lines it's a gas station after all. They only have 4 pumps so it can be busy sometimes but they are not the super slow pumps like at RR. No one wants to pump for 10 minutes. They are not fast pumps either they are on the slower side just not if you are a hurry. If it wasn't for it's ghetto outside and old products inside I would say this isn't a bad gas station. Just go here if you want to get the cheapest gas in the area otherwise they are much better gas stations out there. read more

We continued to return to this location for the customer service, the younger gentleman specifically. The owners (the parents) aren't always the friendliest or nicest but their son, I'm assuming, makes up for it. Gas is reasonably priced. They have a wide range of items inside of the store, I wouldn't trust the frozen foods. It can get very busy at times. read more

The old gentleman that works here is so inconsiderate and cheap. I drove here in the morning so I can put air in my tires (Chevy Tahoe). He turned on the air from within the store, but turns out the 1st cycle of air wasn't enough for my tires. When I went back inside to ask the gentlemen to turn on the air again, he took advantage of my situation and decided to charge me for additional cycles. Charging me money isn't the problem here, however the principle of taking advantage of my tire situation was a major disappointment. Terrible customer service on his end. read more

When I go into Stop N Save, the owner or worker have an attitude. Today, I went in store purchase 6 pick of beer, the advisement said $6.99. When I went to register to pay he charged me $9.99. I explained sign said $6.99. I asked to come look at sign, at first he did not. So I asked again, he looked at sign it said $6.99. He say that's the wrong price. Pulled a 6-pack off of a shelf clearly marked $8.49. Asked if they charged for card. They said no. Paid, and while walking to the door I noticed they'd charged me $11.42. A little quick mental math hinted that this was too much. Return 10' to the counter. And ask, "excuse me, how much was this beer?" Guy says, "we don't carry that beer." I say, "you don't carry the beer that I just bought from you just now literally 1 minute ago?" Wife says something to him, he looks it up, scans the 6-pack and says, "$9.99" I said, "the shelf says $8.59" He says, "no, $9.99" I take him back to where I got it, and he said, "wrong spot, wrong spot" So a minute earlier he didn't know they carried the beer, but now he knows exactly where it's supposed to be in the store? I take him back to where I got it, and pointed to the price. He says, "sorry, wrong spot. $9.99." I said, "well I don't want to pay $11.42 for a 6-pack, and i don't understand how a $9.99 6-pack is $11.42 with tax and no ATM fee. F it, I'll take the Drakes and you can give me some $ back, ok?" I grab the 6-pack of Drake's right next to the beer I'd just tried to buy, and the shelf said $8.59 We go to the front, he scans it, and says, "this one is $9.99 too." I said, "you were just there with me, and you watched me pull it from the shelf marked $8.59." "Wrong place, it was in the wrong place." He says. I ask, "so every beer in the store is in the wrong place? Forget it man, just give my money back and I'll go to the liquor store around the corner. Suddenly he says, "ok ok, hold on now, it's only $.40 cents difference. Don't know why you care." At this point he's glaring at me, as though I had done something wrong. I said it could be a $.05 difference and I'd care if you're overcharging me. And I dunno about your math, but $8.59 to $9.99 isn't $.40, it's $1.40" - people in line are rolling laughing and I'm feeling like I'm in the twilight zone. I asked for my $ back. He digs into the cash register and pries out $1.40, hands it to me and says, "here, you take this beer." In the interest of not missing playoff baseball I take the $ and leave, but that is the last opportunity I will ever afford this store to steal from me. Be smart: shop elsewhere. Great place to stop by quick to pick a few things but the guys working there? Complete ass and idiots. Last summer, my friend and I stopped here real quick before we were off to a Lil Wayne concert (which we were super late) and I accidentally left my phone on the counter. This all finally comes in my head as I'm already on 880 almost to Union City. I used my friend's phone to keep calling my phone and no answer or nothing so i'm still just angry and freaking out. We finally get there and I said "Did you see a black iPhone, I was JUST in here." He said yes but he needs proof to know it's mine. So I asked for his phone and I told I'd call my number to show it's mine which I honestly don't understand why I needed to prove to him. And what do you know, my phone is ringing and he still didn't want to give it back saying it's not enough proof. At this point, i'm heated. I'm already late and I did not want to deal with this guy. I yelled and shouted for my phone back and even customers around were yelling at this guy saying obviously it's her phone, give it back. And nothing budged, he just stood there and didn't do anything so I tiptoe over the counter and reach over and snatch my phone back and shout out "You have a good day sir." I was ready to punch this guy! I understand you don't wanna just give out phones to anyone and make sure it's the rightful owner but I proved it's mine and I was only gone for like 15mins at the most, I know he remembered me. I drive a diesel vehicle. This place is one of my top three go to places for diesel gas in all the bay area because of price. PRICE PRICE PRICE! They are one of the lowest you can find, and it's conveniently on my commute between San Jose and Oakland. So why not 5 stars? Well, if you call the phone number it goes to a fax machine. I'd like to talk to a person sometimes to ask what the gas prices are that day. Customer Service is not their strong point either. But I do give some credit the guy smiles at me when I come in, I think he recognizes me since I go there so often. Nice large selection of snacks, cigarettes, lottery tickets etc typical convenience store fare. Lastly, there are some weirdos that frequent this station. I sometimes get hit up for spare change, and get some strange looks from others. Bottom line, I definitely recommend this station because of the price. PRICE PRICE PRICE! read more

Terrible and rude customer service. The pump would not accept my credit card so I went inside to use my card. I went outside to pump the gas but the pump would not work. I had to go in and outside of the store twice to inform the clerk that the pump was not working. The clerk got upset that he needed to come outside to check the pump. On the way out he made rude comments about my ability of not being able to get the pump to work. "What a JERK!!!", I thought to myself. I immediately asked for a refund and went to the Quik Stop where I found the prices lower than the Stop N Save. I will not go back there again and will not recommend the place to anyone else. read more

Today we went back in to try and rectify the situation. With a lot of talking on my husband's behalf and mumbling by the owner, he finally refunded our money back. Our bank tried calling the day before and spoke to the owner to try and get the charge reversed to no avail. Even though we were refunded our money, it took a call by our bank, and for us to come back when the location was extremely busy to get the cash back. We will never go back to this establishment again and we advise everyone to be careful. read more
