He answers the phone almost immediately every time I call, always texts to confirm appointments, and somehow manages to make time for me even when his schedule is completely full. This last visit meant more to me than he probably knows. I had just been laid off from my job and had an important interview the next day. I felt overwhelmed and stressed and knew I needed a haircut to feel even a little more confident going into it. Even though Leo was fully booked for days, he offered to see me two and a half hours after his normal closing time. After a long day of work, he still welcomed me with kindness, patience, and warmth and took incredible care of me without ever making me feel rushed or like an inconvenience. When I went to pay at the end of the appointment, Leo stopped me and told me he was taking care of my haircut because of what I was going through. That moment genuinely brought me to tears. In a time when I was feeling really low, his generosity and compassion meant everything to me. Leo is not only an incredibly talented stylist, but a genuinely good human being. Acts of kindness like this are rare and unforgettable. I will always be thankful for him and could not recommend him more highly.

Vanessa did an amazing job treating my hair. It looks and feels so much healthier! My first appointment here was for a haircut and loved the after!!! My hair felt so much healthier and easier to manage. It truly felt like she treated my hair & helped it repair. She also includes a brief scalp massage, which made the experience feel super relaxing. My next appointment with Vanessa was for a "Custom Revamp" to touchup to my face frame/money piece & overall hair growth. I received so many compliments on my hair after. I think it's great this salon offers a hair & scalp treatment, too. The space itself is also super relaxing, lowkey, and intimate. It's near a coffee shop which is nice and has parking!

Booking online was super easy. You can choose the service, hairstylist, and see their earliest available appointments. I decided to just go with any available stylist and was booked with Tony. I was hoping for the best, and he gave me exactly the waves I was looking for. The process was about 5 hours, but honestly, I love waking up with effortless beach waves every day, so it was worth it! Several people helped with washing and styling throughout the appointment, and everyone was so kind and welcoming. They even offer snacks and water during the service, which I thought was such a nice touch. The owner, who is also a stylist, was really nice as well. Plus, there's a huge free parking lot, which made the whole experience even more convenient. I'll definitely be recommending TT Hair Salon to all my friends, and to you reading this

Tldr: Don't get your hair done by TONY…read more I got my digital perm done about a week ago have been debating whether or not to write a review. However, this whole appointment and the end result was too unpleasant for me to ignore. Tony was the one who did my perm and Tony was unprofessional. Please avoid having Tony do your hair. To start, Tony showed up to the appointment 15 minutes late (and his coworker was telling him his 11 o'clock was there) and then seemed very disinterested in trying to get the service started. Then, after briefly glancing at my reference photo and finding his own- Tony told me that my hair needed to go shorter and proceeded to give the most careless haircut ever. Total hack job. During the perm, Tony rolled each hair extremely tight that he even had to pause to massage his hands. The overly tight rolls bruised my scalp and Tony was so careless with placing the spacers between the rollers and scalp that I actually was tearing up because the pain was so unbearable. And even though I mentioned that it hurt Tony lowkey just ignored it?? To top it off- Tony ran out of rollers HALFWAY throughout the process so I had to wait with the crazy tight rollers for around 30 minutes (I am not exaggerating). And Tony's not the one that informed me about it- Tony's nice coworkers were the ones that continued to check in and keep me updated. Also, the whole salon had 3 digital perms going on (including mine) and they kept grabbing the rollers coming off from another client and directly using it on my hair. I don't know if that's normal but I thought every tool was supposed to be disinfected prior to using it on another client. If the digital perm turned out the way I wanted- I would not be so upset but the curls were MUCH MUCH tighter than I asked for. But mostly the experience sucked. And it sucks because I had come here previously for a regular perm and had such a great experience that I trusted the salon for another appointment. I will not be visiting this salon again. (And clearly I am very upset towards TONY for messing up my hair and being totally incompetent throughout the whole appointment. Also, maybe you wouldn't lose YOUR VAPE IN THE BIN OF DIGITAL HAIR ROLLERS if you weren't too busy vaping while doing your client's hair.)

This salon is located in old town Monrovia off Myrtle and across the street from the public library. The stylists at this salon tend to take their time and let the coloring sit longer, which I have come to appreciate greatly. Except the first time when I went, I didn't know, that their services take longer and ended up running late to my event, which was stressful. Now I plan extra time when I go. I really only had one bad experience and the issue was addressed promptly and professionally by Judy, the owner. So all in all, a really good salon for the Monrovia/Arcadia/Duarte area.

Let's Go was super close by and had great ratings so I sent an inquiry via Yelp. Within a few hours, I had a response and appointment with stylist Judy for the very next day! As far as my trim experience goes - Judy was fantastic! She was ready right on time, super friendly and welcoming, and did a great job on my trim - just as I asked. I would most definitely book Judy again! And there was a beautiful young woman getting an updo in the chair next to me and it was magnificent! I was impressed how gorgeous it was so they definitely do great work here! They have an online appointment portal that seemed easy to use and I'll try it next time - but I was hesitant initially bc the prices seemed quite exorbitant and wanted to be sure I wasn't mistaken so I sent an inquire instead. Turns out, yes, their prices are shocking imo - for just a tiny trim of my hair and bangs (less than an inch off) it was $70!! And that's not including the tip! No shampooing or styling even! So that was quite jarring for me - but the prices seem to pretty standard in this part of Monrovia. Be prepared for sticker shock lol. But to their credit, the shop is in an excellent location, is clean, modern, and chic and the stylists do great work. There are some parking spaces directly out front but it's limited - but the surrounding area is walkable with tons of free public lots. If you do book with Let's Go - I highly recommend Judy!

We saw the place many times while shopping at dollar tree in the plaza and thought it might be fast and inexpensive. When we arrived, there was plenty of parking nearby. The place is next to many stores and the front of the stores are pretty transparent with glass windows for walls. There were three staff, all were available and when we walked in they asked if we had an appointment. As he was getting his haircut from one of them, two customers came in, one had a 4pm as well and the other was a walk in and they were both accommodated right away. One had really long hair, they even wash your hair. The other was short just like my bfs hair. My bf asked to cut the top a bit short and at times he would ask a few changes during and the stylist would accommodate . The haircut took roughly 10-15 minutes. Since I wasn't getting a haircut, if you don't want to wait, there are clothing stores, cafes, restaurants and a dollar tree you can go to explore. The haircut was good (in my opinion), it was roughly 25$ which is more than we thought. They had a sheet of prices he showed my bf and that's when we realized we should've asked for pricing before making an appointment rather than assuming. Overall, I thought the place was clean, fast, and accommodating during a Thursday evening (they probably weren't too busy on a weekday which makes sense making an appointment on weekends if they do get busy).

Good conversationalist, very comfortable demeanor and cutting style. Came in to get some options for new hairstyles for myself and my son. I don't have too much experience with salons. Price was reasonable so I gave it a shot. Location a little bit confusing to find. Basically look for the salon on 10 1st Ave, the ask for Kit, he has his own station at the back of the salon. I'm pretty passive myself, so while I came in for recommendations, I didn't push too hard. He was very accommodating, but not as assertive as I would have liked. Not his fault, just would have wanted more guidance but too passive to ask for it ha. My son and I ended up getting similar haircut, which neither of us minded. His hand/scissor skills seemed very efficient. Lots of quick, small cuts, that moves quickly. He had some concerns cutting my 7 year old sons hair, understandably. After seeing my sons mild demeanor, he was willing to cut and welcomed us back for next time. My cut was initially a bit longer on top than I wanted, he apologized (unnecessarily) and immediately went to trim the top a bit more. Very accommodating and seemed to really want to check if the client was happy with the cut. Will visit again for our next cuts. Maybe I'll be braver, maybe I'll wait till next summer ha. Very disappointing - even though he tried to give me the side angles lob I had requested, which required one side bang to be a bit shorter than other side, I noticed something was not right as he began to chop my hair DRY without washing/or even wetting before cutting. I asked him about it and he made it sound like that's how you do it. I knew that's not right but decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. His attitude was somewhat defensive as well, was quite strange and I did not feel good at all. After going home my husband noticed my hair was quite uneven especially in the back. I had to find another hair salon who dried my hair straight and showed me how botched my hair looked, I was horrified! and thank goodness this other salon wet and cut my hair with such precision to make it all even, an originally intended side angled lob looks amazing now. Very sad, I actually liked Kit but surely will not be coming back, thr trust is gone, he did not care about my hair at all, was quite evident.

And, her scalp scrub was 10 out of 10! I've gotten wash & blowouts at other salons, and my scalp will still feel dirty. But, not with Carolina! My scalp felt super clean and she hit some pressure points. The blowout was super pretty. I also talked to her about some minor greys I have and asked about her root touch ups since I was doing them previously. She was so honest and said she didn't recommend it. Instead, she recommended a hair product for cover up from the Style Edit (which she is not sponsored by, does not have a partnership with, & does not sell at her salon. I purchased through Amazon without her giving me a direct link) I've been using that and I'm obsessed! I got to save my coin and I appreciated her honesty. I also asked about glosses (which she happily does) and she recommended continuing my in-shower glossing at home to keep my hair healthy. Carolina's integrity shines. I will keep coming & report back.
