I drove from the Palm Springs area for this salon and I have no regrets!! Sammy, my hair stylist, understood what type of curls I wanted and was attentive to every detail. I showed her a reference photo of the type of curls, what I wanted for my bangs, and she made my hair goals come true. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and understand the assignment divas!! I've been getting perms since 2022, starting overseas in Japan, but this is honestly the best perm I've received. Shoutout to my divas, Sammy and the TT Beauty Salon team!!! read more

Came here for my fiancé to get a cut and decided eh why not let's get one for me too! Leo was my stylist and while there was a language barrier (Mandarin is the primary language) my fiancé helped me with some translation and Google Translate was also a big support. I asked if I can do curtain bang and showed a photo and I liked how he took the time to just review my hair and then spoke to the Google translate that my bangs may be a bit to short for it and showed me his portfolio on what else we can try. Through some yeses and head nodding we decided on a look! We went to the back for a wash and wow. I don't think I ever sat in a massage chair while getting my hair cut! That was nice! After this we went back to the chair to get started. We kept the length and did something like a wolf cut! Now I don't normally stray to far from my millennial side bangs but hey change is good right?! And in this case change was GREAT! Omg I was so happy how my lifeless hair had so much volume and how the front part of my hair framed my face perfectly! Throughout the cut he would stop and just analyze my hair and kept measuring to make sure we didn't go to short and at one point he told me to not be afraid but it's going to look like he's cutting a lot of my hair up top but it won't be much. Thankfully he gave me the warning because I was like omg will I go bald?? LOL When we were done he styled my hair and wow. I feel so light and I look so different! I had a fringe and my bangs were now split down the middle but it flowed so nicely! Leo mentioned I can come back and get a perm so I don't need to style it, I might take him up on his offer! My cut was about $48 not including tip and my fiancé's cut. But I am happy and would want to come back! I haven't had a proper cut in years and have PTSD from previous salons so I always opted for a trim I do myself at home but this visit made me feel amazing! read more

I'm so glad I found TT Hair Salon. I'd been wanting to do something different with my virgin hair, and after deciding on a digital perm, finding the right salon was really important to me. Booking online was super easy. You can choose the service, hairstylist, and see their earliest available appointments. I decided to just go with any available stylist and was booked with Tony. I was hoping for the best, and he gave me exactly the waves I was looking for. The process was about 5 hours, but honestly, I love waking up with effortless beach waves every day, so it was worth it! Several people helped with washing and styling throughout the appointment, and everyone was so kind and welcoming. They even offer snacks and water during the service, which I thought was such a nice touch. The owner, who is also a stylist, was really nice as well. Plus, there's a huge free parking lot, which made the whole experience even more convenient. I'll definitely be recommending TT Hair Salon to all my friends, and to you reading this read more

Tldr: Don't get your hair done by TONY. I got my digital perm done about a week ago have been debating whether or not to write a review. However, this whole appointment and the end result was too unpleasant for me to ignore. Tony was the one who did my perm and Tony was unprofessional. Please avoid having Tony do your hair. To start, Tony showed up to the appointment 15 minutes late (and his coworker was telling him his 11 o'clock was there) and then seemed very disinterested in trying to get the service started. Then, after briefly glancing at my reference photo and finding his own- Tony told me that my hair needed to go shorter and proceeded to give the most careless haircut ever. Total hack job. During the perm, Tony rolled each hair extremely tight that he even had to pause to massage his hands. The overly tight rolls bruised my scalp and Tony was so careless with placing the spacers between the rollers and scalp that I actually was tearing up because the pain was so unbearable. And even though I mentioned that it hurt Tony lowkey just ignored it?? To top it off- Tony ran out of rollers HALFWAY throughout the process so I had to wait with the crazy tight rollers for around 30 minutes (I am not exaggerating). And Tony's not the one that informed me about it- Tony's nice coworkers were the ones that continued to check in and keep me updated. Also, the whole salon had 3 digital perms going on (including mine) and they kept grabbing the rollers coming off from another client and directly using it on my hair. I don't know if that's normal but I thought every tool was supposed to be disinfected prior to using it on another client. If the digital perm turned out the way I wanted- I would not be so upset but the curls were MUCH MUCH tighter than I asked for. But mostly the experience sucked. And it sucks because I had come here previously for a regular perm and had such a great experience that I trusted the salon for another appointment. I will not be visiting this salon again. (And clearly I am very upset towards TONY for messing up my hair and being totally incompetent throughout the whole appointment. Also, maybe you wouldn't lose YOUR VAPE IN THE BIN OF DIGITAL HAIR ROLLERS if you weren't too busy vaping while doing your client's hair.) read more

I attempted to get a digital perm and was so excited! The salon is super cute and everyone is nice. I recommend the place-if you have healthy hair-I did not and Tina (who was so sweet and patient with me!) tried multiple times to tell me to not get one but I am stubborn and said I still wanted to do it:( I wish every day that I had listened to her. My hair is completely damaged but it is completely my fault. But it did look nice right after but the next day I could tell I was cooked read more

I've come here for years for perm and cuts. Glad to see their business has grown.... But the quality remains very high! Definitely recommend this place -- one small thing: you may have to wait a while, even with appointment. read more

It was my first time getting my hair done at this location and I have no complaints! I walked in on a Tuesday afternoon looking to get a keratin treatment and haircut, which usually takes about 3 hours. They were able to do all this and I am happy with the results. They offered me water and some snacks while waiting. Excellent service. They checked in with me throughout the experience. The salon is well-kept and had decent lighting with nice background music playing the whole time. I used to drive all the way to Koreatown but I'm glad to have found a local hair salon that I love! TT Beauty Salon - Digital perm by Cindy - Hair Salons Near Me - Arcadia, California

A few weeks ago, I found TT Salon and Cindy on TikTok and Instagram, and was really impressed by the results she posted. Unfortunately, my experience was incredibly disappointing. I booked a digital perm and showed her multiple reference photos, including examples of Cindy's own previous work. Before we even started, she took out her phone and immediately began recording me and the reference photos, which made me feel uncomfortable and not fully listened to. She told me that to achieve the look I wanted, I needed more layers, so I agreed. I also specifically emphasized that I did NOT want a wavy perm, I wanted large, blowout-style curls just like the photos I showed her of her previous work and more. Instead, I left with tight waves that looked nothing like what I had requested. I was honestly so shocked and upset that I barely knew what to say. My hair looked damaged, and I knew I'd be stuck with the results for many months. When I expressed that this wasn't what I had asked for, she dismissively told me the reason it didn't look like the photos was because I needed more layers, even though she had already cut layers before starting the perm. She then cut even more layers afterward, leaving my hair thinned out, uneven, and very top-heavy. She then asked if I wanted her to redo the perm, but the way she responded felt abrupt and dismissive... after spending four hours in the chair, I wasn't comfortable putting my already damaged hair through another chemical process. She still recorded before and after videos when the results were clearly different from what I had requested. Overall throughout the whole service, there was very little communication, so I had no idea what the plan was and what was going on with my hair. I felt completely left out of the conversations. Cindy called after I left and offered to have me come back so she could restyle my hair, but by that point, styling wasn't the issue, the perm itself was not what I had asked for. A few days later, after hoping the curls would loosen, I contacted her on Instagram as unfortunately, it didn't improve. She didn't apologize at all and instead only referred me to the salon manager. The manager was kind, responsive, and acknowledged that he understood my frustration and agreed that the results were not what I had requested. But after several conversations, he offered either a redo or a 50% refund. I appreciated the effort, but I paid nearly $400 for a service that did not match what I requested... and now I have to spend more money at another salon in the future to try to correct it. I also wasn't comfortable accepting another chemical service so soon after my hair had already been damaged. Overall, the experience felt unprofessional from start to finish. I came in excited after seeing Cindy's work online, but I left completely disappointed with results that did not resemble my reference photos, and am still dealing with the results. My hair is still damaged, frizzy, half straight have tight waves, just a mess. Based on my experience, I would absolutely not recommend this salon. read more

It's a cute little salon. Everyone is friendly. There's plenty of parking and it's not hidden at all. Highly recommend making an appointment as well, instead of walk in. Cindy is amazing! She's know for her perms too, but I just go for my quarterly haircut. Haircuts for women are expensive nowadays, but with Cindy, I truly don't mind. She hears out what I want done, and even makes sure throughout the appointment that I'm still okay. She really takes her time to make sure everything is even as well. I had my fair share of not the best experiences with multiple hairstylists, but never with Cindy. I look the same even after I leave the salon and wash my hair days after. read more

I've been here twice and the first time was great! Second time I booked the only available appointment left which was the last one of the day. The haircut I got this time was a bit rushed, so the ends of my hair ended up a bit choppy and less polished than usual. Overall, it's a fair price for a haircut if that's your main priority, but my last experience made me realize how the hairstylist's attention to detail really does matter a lot. read more

I had a great experience here! It was my first time and after doing some research online on good digital perms in LA I found this one. It's taken me a few hours to write this review because of how mad I am. I went to this place because of a Tik Tok video. 1. I called to make the appointment and ask questions, the guy said, I'll call you back. He instead texted me to book online. So I did. They took my credit card and I received a couple of confirmations. 2. I left work early to drive 40 minutes to get to this place. When I arrived, the guy asked how he can help. I said, I have an appointment at 4pm. He had me sit. He clearly saw me and my hair. 3. I was then greeted by a woman and asked to sit on the chair. She came over evaluated my hair, gave me a price and sent me to get my hair washed. 4. Came back to the chair and waited. At this time, another girl walked in saying she had an appointment for a perm at 4pm too. Then the woman who greeted me looked at me and asked if I had an appointment. Mind you, I already had told them I had my appointment. I'm already waiting to get my services done. WTF did she think I was doing there. Then she walked over to me and wanted to see my appointment confirmation. I showed her the text and email but she continued to ask if I had reserved with credit card, which I answered yes. She spoke to the other guy in THEIR language then that guy walked over to me. 5. He started to look over my hair and decided that he couldn't do my hair because it was dyed. I just stared at him and listened to his bullshit excuse. And kept myself from losing my shit and making a scene. 6. They offered to dry my hair which I let them. I thought, shit, it's the least they can do since I ledt work early and drove all that way. I was 100% inconvenienced! 7. I think their tik tok advertisement went viral and can't handle the demand. OR they discrimated against ME. Either way, they can go F themselves! read more

I just want to start this review by stating that Liya at TT Salon is a stylist with integrity and she is not afraid to be honest with her clients. I would go back to her without hesitation because of this alone. I booked an appointment for a digital perm with Liya well over a month ago. I have stick straight hair that has zero volume and the videos and pictures I was seeing of Liya's beautiful work was so exciting! My day arrived and I was super excited. Side note, I am currently dealing with some heavy personal things at home, so having this to look forward to was a breath of fresh air. This will come into play in this review in a moment. I arrived for my appointment, Liya looked at my hair and did tell me my hair was very fine and that I had some damage at the ends. I knew these things, so it wasn't a shock. She did a cut to remove those damaged ends and then her assistant took me to wash my hair. During that wash the assistant asked me some questions about my hair because she was seeing some damage that was concerning to her. She finished the wash and took me back to the chair. Liya came back, she spoke with the assistant, and then Liya showed me the parts of my hair that the assistant was concerned about. She was very kind and apologetic, but told me that she would not feel comfortable giving me the perm with the damage they were seeing. It was more apparent now while my hair was wet. She didn't see it as much when she did the dry cut. Of course I was disappointed, but I was not upset with Liya for making this call. As a matter of fact, I was very appreciative that she was willing to be honest with me and not just take my money. Here's where my personal issues came into play. My level of disappointment combined with stress and sadness I was already feeling caused me to cry. I was trying to hold it in, but I kind of failed. Liya again apologized, I tried to explain that I was okay and I wasn't upset with her or blaming her. I told her I was grateful for her honesty. This is why I write this review. I hope that Liya reads it or at least gets the message. While I am very sad to have not been able to experience her beautiful work on my own hair, I am so thankful that she is a person of respect, integrity, and honesty. She did not charge me for the cut and the wash either. If you are looking to visit Liya at TT Salon, I highly recommend her! She is not just out there taking people's money because of a popular trend. I am hopeful that one day I can go back and get that perm, Liya! I'm going to work on some hair repair and we'll see what happens! Thank you for your kindness yesterday. I am sorry if I made you feel like I was upset with you in any way. I certainly was not! read more

So many red flags. If you have fine virgin hair, I strongly recommend avoiding a digital perm at this salon. My hair was past my waistline when I arrived. The stylist insisted it was far too long and said a significant cut was necessary. I trusted her professional judgment, expecting a healthy trim, but nearly half my hair was cut off. The haircut itself felt rushed and uneven, seemingly done to accommodate the perm rather than with care for overall shape or length. Midway through my appointment, a previous client returned visibly upset, saying her hair did not look permed. While I didn't hear every detail, it immediately raised concerns, concerns that ultimately became my own. Throughout the service, my stylist repeatedly emphasized that my hair was "too fine," that there weren't enough curlers for my hair, and that more hair needed to be cut. If she believed a digital perm would not work on my hair type, she should have been honest from the start and declined the service. The end result: my hair feels fried, is significantly shorter than expected, and shows no real signs of a perm. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this salon. Additional notes: * The smell of cigarettes from the staff smoking heavily fills the salon. I left with a headache, and the combination of cigarette smoke and perm chemicals was overwhelming. * Stylists spoke aggressively in another language, appearing to argue about my service, which felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. * If you discovered this salon through TikTok and were impressed by how attentive they appeared (offering water, snacks, etc.), be aware that this level of service is not consistent. Unless you appear to be a social media personality. Paying over $400 plus tip for this experience was deeply disappointing. read more

I booked with Cindy after finding her on TikTok, and I'm so glad I did! I've had straight hair all my life and always dreamed of soft, wavy curls -- and Cindy gave me exactly what I was hoping for. I asked for waves that weren't too curly, and she delivered perfectly. She explained the entire digital perm process, asked thoughtful questions along the way, and made sure I felt comfortable and informed throughout. I don't usually trust anyone to cut my hair -- it's super thick, and in the past, stylists have thinned it out way too much. But Cindy understood that right away and knew exactly how to work with my texture. I wasn't planning on getting a cut, but she suggested one that would enhance the perm, and she was absolutely right -- my hair looks fuller and more voluminous now! Cindy is incredibly sweet and knowledgeable. I drove an hour to see her and would 100% do it again. She also gave me tips on how to care for my perm at home. The salon is clean, easy to find, and in a plaza with great parking. Truly such a great experience -- I'm obsessed with my new hair! read more

Incredible experience at TT Beauty Salon! I secured an appointment to bleach, color, and cut my hair within 2 days of reaching out via Yelp. They were very responsive. Parking is very easy to find. The salon is located in a large plaza with ample free parking. Upon arrival, I was given snacks and water. Tina gave a thorough consultation of my hair given that I have never bleached or colored my hair before. She walked me through several options based on the inspiration photos that I presented her and provided input on what would look best. Ultimately I decided on an ashy brown peek a boo with money pieces. For the cut, I opted for curtain bangs. I went through 2 rounds of bleach, and my hair feels very healthy. All the staff were very efficient, patient, and kind. The only caveat was that the salon continued to accept walk-ins throughout the day so they were very occupied. There had been moments when I was waiting to be attended to, but they still took their time to ensure that I was satisfied with my hair. Overall I LOVE the way my hair turned out! Strongly recommend Tina for her expertise! read more

This review is way past due. I used to go to KTown to an overpriced salon that didn't give me the perm I wanted. Liya was recommended to me by another stylist and I decided to give her a try a few weeks ago and I am glad I did. Booking with Liya was super easy. She's super nice and professional. I've gotten so many compliments on my digital perm. She is now my go to especially since the salon is near my house. Not outrageous prices like in LA . It's fair and reasonable. I've gotten two amazing digital perms from Liya and highly highly recommend her!! Just from how she cuts my hair before a perm, I can tell she has a passion and detailed eye for as a great hair stylist! I got my first perm in March 2025, and my hair was still 30% wavy 9-months later in November 2025 (except for my natural straight hair that had grown out). I considered keeping the wavy hair but decided to refresh my perm and get some curtain bangs before the holidays! I found her through researching on instagram where you can tell she's a digital perm pro that everyone goes to! www.instagram.com/liyapan_hairstylist read more

I did some research between this salon and another popular one that I found through TikTok, but found that the reviews for TT were a lot more positive and looked really clean. I'm so glad my friend and I chose this place for our first scalp treatment experience! First off, it's by appointment only. We arrived there around 5pm and each of our hair specialist used this high tech equipment to scan your scalp where you can see a zoom in image on the monitor. It looks sooo trippy and gross close up haha. Mind you, I haven't washed my hair in 3 days so it was on the oily side so you could see all the oils close up. I inquired if it was necessary to wash my hair everyday because it took me a long time to train my hair to not be oily after 1-2 days of hair wash day. She assured me it's absolutely okay to wash every 3-4 days, and said my current scalp health is pretty good. There wasn't any dandruff or build-up, just some oils. Then she suggested some Japanese brand products that were suitable for my hair and scalp in case I was interested. After that she walked me to the shampoo station which had a bed for me to lay on. She took her time to lather the shampoo into my hair while massaging my scalp and nape of my neck. It was the most luxurious and relaxing massage ever!! I definitely fell asleep a few times. After the heavenly massage and treatment, she wrapped my hair tightly into a towel and had me walk back to the front to get my hair dry. She asked if I'd like my hair blown straight or wavy curls. I opted for waves since there was no additional cost. The curling tool she used was similar to a Dyson where it wraps your hair around the curling barrel. It didn't feel as hot as my curling iron so I was interested in seeing how long the curls would last. Even when she was blow drying my hair prior to curling, it seem like it was blowing cool hair which I'm sure is better and less damaging for your hair. It was an incredible experience that I'd love to do again maybe once every 1-2 months to destress and relax. They offer a membership where you can get earn a free treatment. I noticed my curls were limp after a 2-3 hrs and was getting straight the next day. I would say this is just for relaxation purposes and not so much for styling if that's what you're hoping for. Will come back here for sure! read more

Liya is wonderful at what she does. I found her through yelp. I got the Japanese hair straightening. She took her time flattening my super curly dry frizzy hair. Before coming here, I used to go to Ceci Salon every 1.5 yrs or so in San Diego when I used to live there. After moving back to LA I had a hard time finding a place as good as Ceci Salon. Prior to coming to TT beauty I went to a place in chinatown about 2-3 years ago that was recommended to me but the guy there did a horrible job so I am very glad I found Liyi and TT beauty. It is as good as Ceci Salon in San Diego. This place also has top notch service since they provided water and snacks. This is the second salon that I've been to that did that. Also the assistants here are good too. The girl that helped me wash my hair was gentle and throughly washed my hair. I would definitely come back in the future and recommend this place. read more

I am ecstatic about my hair! After scouring the internet and scrolling through stylists' instas, I finally found a stylist that I felt can do the job. I had an initial consultation with Liya and showed her photos of what I wanted. Liya was transparent about how to keep my hair healthy and how she felt the color that she could achieve would be close to what I asked for but may be slightly off because of how many times I've already bleached my hair. She quoted me the price and which I thought was fair. On the day of the appointment, she was very attentive, asking me questions throughout the day to make sure she understood my wishes. Because it took several hours to do my hair, Liya brought me snacks and coffee so I wouldn't be hungry. She tried to make my experience as comfortable as possible. Once I saw the result, I was in love. She did everything exactly as I had asked and was actually able to achieve the look I wanted. She helped other clients while I was there, but I never felt neglected. The salon is clean, had nice music, and had many stylists on staff, so even though it was busy, all the clients seemed to walk away happy with their hair. In fact, I heard several clients say how happy they were. Liya is now my go to stylist. Highly recommended! read more
