Ryan K.

I went here to grab something quick for lunch. So I went to the deli to find something. I had a choice of prepackaged subs, popcorn chicken, or quesadillas. I wasn't feeling the chicken, I had a bad experience with a supermarket sub previously, so I decided to try my luck on the quesadilla. Bad choice. It always seems that these places keep these things stocked for multiple days and the flavors and smells linger into each other, causing them to taste undesirable. Also, I had to return a Redbox movie and the machine was off and no one could help me.

Stop & Shop prices are getting ridiculously high. A couple times I got made milk but had no problem with returning it.

The store is convenient to my work commute and had all the foods that I need. Decent pricing and fresh produce.

For international foodies, I would definitely recommend coming here to explore Portuguese,…read moreBrazilian, Latin, and Caribbean foods. There's a very reasonably priced self-serve buffet at the back. The food is authentic and made from scratch. I love the flavorful Portuguese rice, which is packed with veggies. The Homestyle beef dishes and empanadas are amazing! Unfortunately, the selection of dishes is very unpredictable. They haven't served the beef dishes I've tried in weeks. Often, the quality and selection of hot foods are poor. I was told by the workers to contact Sonia the cook to inquire about the menu. The egg custard and coconut custard pies are good, unbeatably priced at around $5. I discovered, for the first time, delicious Majarete corn pudding (made and distributed by The Family Cake Co., a local RI bakery), which is a popular dessert in Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, and Cuba. I'm addicted to this!! The Majarete is located in the same cooler as the custard pies. I also come to this store for scallions and cilantro, which are only .69 cents per bunch. Usually very fresh. There's a dining area in the front close to the restrooms. Coffee is complimentary, though not tasty like Dave's. Sometimes there are complimentary treats at the tables, as well.

I had a bad experience last week, figured I'd give it another try. Meat is shades of green and grey. The cashier that wears winter hat and a scarf I think it's a teen boy has terrible customer service skills did not say hello, thanks, goodbye, etc. Didn't even glance my way, continued talking to his friend the bagger. Antique feel, I felt like I walked into my childhood 1970's grocery store I believe there's paneling on the walls lol

Market 32 is our closest grocery store, yet it is always one of our last choices. Our pecking order…read moreof supermarkets in our area is as follows: 1. Wegmans 2. Whole Foods 3. Market Basket 4. Stop & Shop 5. Market 32 6. Price Chopper/Hannaford We realize that quality and selection with some of these grocery stores can vary by location. For example, a Price Chopper can be much nicer in one town than in another (Price Chopper Webster, MA is a very nice PC). But in our area, we stand by these standings! We use Market 32 as a giant convenience store for on demand staples like hamburger patties and rolls, milk and eggs. That said, some of these items are much more expensive than Market Basket. And when it comes to produce, we're always disappointed with Market 32 quality, and often the price too. Bok choy is a good example. Market 32 Bok choy is often $2 more a pound than at Market Basket, and limp, like it's been on a Price Chopper truck for a few days too long. And the cod we tried, was very fishy and compares poorly with cod loins from Wegman's. Market 32 prepared pizza was very disappointing, though I tried sushi here once (I was starving), and to my chagrin, it was pretty good. On the plus side, this Market 32 is quite new, quite clean, and usually quite quiet. But other than on-demand necessitates, we have much better choices if we're willing to drive an extra 10 - 15 minutes.

She listened to what I wanted, and when I showed her a photo of my daughter's dress, she made great suggestions. The next day, I was surprised to receive a phone call from Sharon. It turned out that my daughter's date had also ordered a prom flowers at Dave's and Sharon was calling to ask if it would be ok if she deviated a little from what we had discussed so that their boutonniere and bouquet could match. I oof course said yes, and I was so impressed that Sharon had taken time to call me and I was equally impressed with how much thought she was putting into the flowers. Both the bouquet and the boutonniere were absolutely beautiful with dainty lavender roses, white hydrangeas, lovely accent greens, and a beautiful bow. The service I received here and the quality of the flowers was outstanding - far better than some full service florists. I'll definitely be going back here for future dance flowers, and I'd like to give a huge shoutout to Sharon for her thoughtfulness and the beautiful flowers she provided for prom.

The fresh seafood selection as well as butcher section are fantastic! I enjoy their meats like steaks and pre-made burger patties. This particular location is always clean and well stocked and I like that they have free fresh coffee while you shop. With brand names as well as local products, Dave's is what I look for in a local grocery market.

Not the cleanest Stop and Shop by any stretch nor the friendliest Stop and Shop when it comes to…read morestaff. You won't have a problem finding what you need since after all it's a supermarket and these stores tend to be the same. I was disappointed though with the cleanliness of this store. Items not in the right spot, garbage on the floor. Speaking of the floor, it looked as if it hasen't been swept or mopped in days. The staff seemed as if they couldn't be bothered. Instead of trying to help find an items they just pointed aimless down the store and said "ask that person there". The individual manning the self-checkout was talking to another employee about what they had plans for that night while our machine required assistance since the bar code was recognized on an item we purchased. It reached the point where I needed to walk up to the two employees as say "I'm sorry but is this job interfering with your conversation?" In sum, we were in a pinch and up in this area of the state. That is the only time I would willingly enter this store. Other than that situation I wouldn't willingly come here until the clean up their act a bit.
