Deck after job.
Sam G.

Steve and his crew were always on time and went above and beyond everything they said they were going to do. The cleaning, staining and sealing of the stamped concrete came out better than I expected. This is the company you want to hire for your next job!

We had our entire front/back yard done due to stains on our concrete. The product Is absolutely beautiful and gets a lot of comments. You can tell the guys really care about doing a good job and can design any texture. I couldn't give 5 stars because we have had some small flaking issues. However, I would give 4.5 STARS if I could, since Steve is good about honoring the lifetime warranty and sends his guys over to repair any issues you may have.

I was especially impressed by the trustworthiness and professionalism demonstrated by both the ownership and the entire crew. Their workmanship was exceptional, and the quality of the materials used was outstanding, particularly given the reasonable price. I have already recommended Green Pride Landscaping to my neighbors, friends, and family, and I will absolutely use them again for future landscaping projects. I highly recommend Green Pride- Jesse Commons to anyone looking for a dependable company that delivers excellent quality and value.

After the job was completed in three separate areas of our front and backyard, we came home to a flood in the backyard. I sent him a video and he advised how to turn the water off because his guy did not cap something. Then the next day I go to turn one of the valves on and it's spewing water out. His guy returned to tighten it and said if this happens again, they will replace it. Well, the second time I went to use it it's against spewing water out today. He came back to tighten it again and refused to replace the gasket or anything. I will just have to call somebody else for repair. The third area that he worked on he put a new valve and our timer is not working to it. It looks like the wires were cut. I had to hire somebody else to repair that area. Basically every single area that he worked on either wasn't done right in the first place or I had call another company out to repair their work. We paid Jesse in full with a tip (before I knew all of the work was defective) so I felt that I needed to let him know of the issues. Today when I called him on the phone to go over everything he was irate, cussing, and beyond furious and could not talk professionally. He called me a liar multiple times and blamed me for the valve leaking because we did not use the timer on it. I had to explain to him and his guy even had to tell him that there's no timer connected to this area. He didn't believe us..that is when I went into telling him about the other timer not working in the other area and he didn't want to hear it. I didn't even dare tell him that we had to hire somebody else to fix it! We will not be referring him or working with him ever again. I suggest you do the same.

From our first conversation, he was extremely responsive and professional. He provided a detailed proposal quickly, answered a long list of technical and business questions clearly, and revised the proposal promptly to address the points I raised. His communication was excellent, and I never felt that I had to chase him for answers. What impressed me most was his willingness to make sure I understood exactly what was included, how potential issues would be handled, and what responsibilities belonged to each party. After spending a long time dealing with a complicated construction project, that kind of organization and responsiveness was especially refreshing. Based on my experience with Jeramie and the way Concrete Etc. handled the estimating and planning process, I would not hesitate to recommend giving them serious consideration for a concrete project.

Over the years, the grass had become difficult to maintain, and tree roots had made the surface of our yard uneven. Jeramie was on-site every day and was very communicative throughout the entire process. He offered great suggestions for the design and layout and was always transparent and upfront about the costs and the different options available to us. We really appreciated his professionalism, attention to detail, and willingness to work with us to achieve the look we wanted. Big E masonry was easy to communicate with, from Lily in the office who is always on top of things, to the man himself Big Esteban and his entire crew who were all easy to work with. Esteban, gave me a very competitive bid, but he did something else, something more unusual in todays world: He delivered a great product on schedule and without drama. he was flexible as the job progressed to make small changes and gave great advice to help me navigate the process. They added few rows without paying attention to detail of adding sufficient concrete between them. My mom had to tell the workers to fill in the gaps. Then we had to tell them to fill in the gaps on our neighbor side because we share a wall. They did lazy work. Those areas were not filled at the joints. Needless to say, years later, today I am having issues with the wall. Because of the size block they used, my wall is now leaning and starting to buckle out. The new contractor I hired said this new block that was added is not up to code and it is the incorrect type/size. They should have never used it. Contractor also said many blocks are not set correctly because the joints were not properly adhered together with enough concrete between them. I was charged $1300 to add these 2-3 rows of blocks. And this was at least 7-8 years ago. I feel like I was ripped off. Now I have to tear the wall down and do it all over again because it has leaned to far it can't be repaired. It has to be replaced. Very upsetting especially because I wanted to hire a small local business. I want to support my community. It feels like they took advantage of our lack of knowledge behind wall building and codes. That's prob the worst part.

I had a great experience working with Mark and Eminent Construction on my paving project…read more I first reached out to Mark in November 2020 for a quote to pave my front and backyard. Due to personal reasons, I had to put the project on hold for a while and didn't end up signing the contract until April 2022. For due diligence, I got quotes from several other paving contractors at the time. Material prices had skyrocketed across the board, and while his prices aren't the bottom-of-the-barrel lowest, among reputable, established companies, his pricing was very competitive. A couple of other options told me straight up to go with Eminent because they couldn't match his quote. Mark was able to honor his original 2020 pricing because he keeps a large inventory of pavers stored in his own warehouse. At first, I was a little worried that a lower price might mean cutting corners, but that wasn't the case at all--his work product is excellent, and so are his people. Once work began in April 2022, his team showed up right on time. Mark's guys are nice and awesome to work with, getting the job done quickly with great quality. My sister is extremely skeptical when it comes to contractors and service companies--she is not easy to please at all--but even she mentioned how impressed she was with the quality of their work. Midway through, I had several major changes, including asking him to redo the stairs, pour concrete out in my garage, add railings to the new stairs, and add custom railings to my existing front steps. Even though concrete isn't his main focus (he specializes mostly in pavers), he took it on and got his guys out here fast to redo the garage floor. On top of that, his metalworking contractors who handled the railings are second to none--the custom metalwork turned out incredible. His follow-up support has been just as solid. Recently, I noticed an issue with those stairs built back in April 2022 and brought it to Mark's attention. He didn't ask a million questions or give me any pushback--he just asked for a couple of pictures and had his crew out to fix it right away without any hassle. Finding a straight-shooting, trustworthy contractor is rare. I trust Mark completely and would recommend Eminent Construction to anyone.

They did an excellent job! Highly recommend this company. Quick, neat and efficient :)read more
