I've purchased three ATV/UTVs from them over the years and have probably spent around $40k when you…read moreinclude service, accessories, and other add-ons. I had even planned to buy another new machine from them recently. Unfortunately, the fact that they never negotiate off MSRP combined with a recent service experience has changed my view of the dealership. I brought in one of my ATVs because the front brake wasn't working and asked them to perform an oil change while they had it. I supplied my own OEM oil-change kit, which they were willing to use, and I also asked for a simple battery tender purchase & installation. They charge one hour of labor simply to look at the ATV -- $140 just to diagnose it. Not ideal, but fine. Their diagnosis: the front brake pads were worn and they recommended new brake pads, calipers, rotors, plus a left rear wheel bearing. While I can understand the front brake issue, we ride gently around our own property, so I was surprised. But the real problem was the estimate. Despite me supplying the oil-change kit, they quoted $193.50 in labor just for the oil change. That's more than a synthetic oil change on my F-150. When I questioned it, the answer was a shrug and "that's what it costs." A battery tender installation was quoted at $52 for the tender plus $32 to install, despite the fact you can buy the same item online for $15-$30 and installation is extremely simple. Parts pricing was also inflated compared to OEM costs I was able to find online: Rear wheel bearing: Quoted at $110.99 -- I found quality replacements for $14.59. Caliper assembly: Quoted at $428.99 -- found online for $36.99. Brake rotors: Quoted at $75.99 each -- I found a pair for $39.99. Labor times also seemed high, especially considering I've done some of this work myself and I am far from a mechanic. Their total estimate was just over $2,000. I declined the work and took the ATV to a local non-dealer shop. They confirmed the front brake issues but found no problem at all with the rear bearing. They were open to OEM or quality aftermarket parts -- or me providing my own. The entire repair, including parts and labor, cost $382.50 (compared to $2k with Village). On the oil change, the local shop charged $38 in labor compared to $193 I was quoted with my supplied oil change kit. The ATV now runs perfectly. Out of curiosity, I uploaded the dealership's quote to an AI system for cost analysis. Key findings included: Labor appeared substantially higher than standard practice. Calipers and bearings were significantly marked up, in some cases by $70-$180. OEM bearings are typically $40-$60, not $110. Estimated excess cost on parts alone: $250-$350 above normal expectations. I provided the full report to the dealership and discussed my own research, but management dismissed it entirely. This experience sealed the deal for me. I refused all service work and had it done elsewhere at a fraction of the price. And while their new-unit fees are lower than some competitors, the other dealers I contacted offered things like a free first service or small incentives on a new purchase. This dealership offers nothing and will not negotiate at all. They will respond quickly if you're expressing interest in buying something new from them. They will not negotiate. After the sale, I would avoid them for service. After being a loyal customer, I very likely won't be purchasing from or servicing with them again.

However, my thoughts are that the salesman makes the sale but the service department makes the returning customer and future sales. On that note, this business is suffering. As noted by others as well, the service and customer support is lacking and needs attention. As for us, immediate piece or part maybe, but service and support we probably be done in Roanoke or Purcellville, Virginia.

What I received was a Lie. if I road that bike today as I did before the issue here, I believe it would fail. By the work performed were working parts were welded to not work. VPMS followed no procedure or protocol on my bike. The shop had no respect in regard to me or my cycle that now I believe is garbage. My ability to operate that cycle safely is no longer viable. You can't access the engine compartment under the seat, which is welded to the frame, the seat. VPMS had no knowledge in the proper repair of my Kymco. None! They lied to me and still are. You open and close the seat four times when I can't open it once owning the cycle for six years. They Redesigned the Bike to Junk! I wouldn't recommend this shop for any procedure. They will lie in the maintenance of your cycle putting your life at risk and others while on the road. A Military Guy Safety Is First it's a part of Life!

Quality Staff, Quality Service!…read more We moved to the Sterling, VA area this past June and since the move, my daughter Celeste has been aching to get another motorcycle. She did her research and was blessed to find MG MotorSports less than 15 minutes for our new home. The crazy thing about her motorcycle journey is that the first time we had ever been in the Sterling area was when we attended our first ever "Finish The Race" gathering at Calvary Temple. At the time we never envisioned living here now. MG Motorsports exemplifies the true sense of community with just how they show their sense of professionalism with their customers. From beginning to end My daughter and I were impressed by the attention to detail in helping my daughter feel confident in her selection. Both Zach and Greg made themselves available for any and all questions and final delivery scheduling. I knew the hand shakes were true and a lasting relationship in this communities motorcycle world was there for her going forward. I strongly recommend to anyone interested in a quality motorcycle purchase to take yourselves to MG MotorSports

Mike, his wife and the entire team at MGMotorsports are fantastic!…read more I purchased a 2023KLR650S in July and the price was the best I could find anywhere in the country. Part of the reason I say this is because I know they couldn't have made a lot of money on this sale. Yet every single interaction was a pleasant surprise! When I called about the bike Mike answered all my questions in a straight forward manner. He quickly told me the out the door price, the history and condition of the KLR (even sent me a video of it) reconfirmed that it was ABS, the crash bars and racks were included, they had copies of the service records, only had 780 miles on it. He was patient during the process of me wiring MGMOTORSPORTS the payment. His communication was excellent. He also offered reasonable shipping from VA to OK or agreed to store it a couple weeks until I could pick it up. When it came time to pick it up Mike personally met me at a subway station and drove me to the shop in Sterling. The motorcycle was ready to go and his wife was great with all the paperwork ready. I watched and listened as they dealt with other customers and they were sincerely pleasant with everyone. When it was time to leave, Mike and an employee checked the fluids, tire pressure, ect, one last time in front of me. We shook hands, he had an employee lead me in a company truck out Sterling to the main road headed west so I wouldn't get lost. Every couple of days as I leisurely rode back home to Oklahoma Mike would text me to make sure everything was good and askif I had any questions. I know this long winded, but for once something that seemed too good to be true, WAS TRUE@ My email is rsnowder@gmail.com and I will gladly answer any questions about my experience with MGMOTORSPORTS! When I spoke with their service department, they agreed to take care of it for me.. no apology or anything about the extra time out of my week to get to and from their shop. I should have bailed right then and there. Fast forward a few years. Nothing but issues for a bike I took excellent care of and only put a grand total of 1000 miles on. I won't get into too many details here, but they kept the bike for a little over 3 months this last spring, " trying" to resolve an issue I was having with the bike struggling to start and not running correctly when it did start. After three months I complained to the owner about the absurd bill I got after his team of " professional Triumph techs" could not figure out anything and just started throwing random parts at it. To be clear, there were 3 error codes... After 90 days they didn't even mention any of those codes! The owner did right by me in terms of having them remove most of the fees they tacked on for their bull$!#@ work. It was super irritating that I was still out a couple hundred bucks for an intake snorkel (What the actual F?) and spark plugs (which I had also just replaced one day before leaving it with them) The real final coffin nail for me was that the final call from the service guy was unacceptable and infuriating: "Given enough time, we probably could figure it out, but we just don't have time to deal with your bike right now". I have never been more angry or disappointed by a business. I essentially just threw 10K+ into a fire. I will never purchase a bike here again and I will instruct everyone I encounter to avoid them for bike purchases and especially repairs.
