Stopped in here on way to the casino. Fast, friendly service...burgers were great and beer was cold. Will go again I'm sure.

BEWARE OUT OF TOWN CONSUMERS!!!…read more I ordered from this place on July 3rd, the food was good... fast forward to July 6th my mini wanted a repeat, we ordered pasta and I order the fish sandwich with fries. This order took place over the phone. I was asked what I wanted on the fish, I said whatever comes on it, the gentleman taking my order over the phone said oh you don't want anything on it, I said you don't put anything on the fish? I then said put cheese, tartar sauce and pickles on the fish. I asked for hot sauce on the side. The gentleman gave me my total and said my order would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived early, requested the pickles be put on the side as well, and then paid (I noticed the price changed. I was handed the receipt and saw I was charged $0.50 for each condiment that generally comes customary on a fish sandwich. The food was good but I hate establishments that nickel and dime patrons without clearly stating the specifics. *I was going to leave a stellar review for the place initially as the food was pretty good, after my visit on July 6th, my family and I will never dine here again when we are visiting in the area. As far as the ambiance, it's a "mom and pop" dinner set-up without the charisma, warmth and customer service of a "mom and pop" establishment.

Went here with a group. Some liked their meals and others did not. After reading rave reviews about…read moretheir cheesesteaks, I ordered one. It did not live up to my expectations. It was okay, but nothing special. Two people who ordered seafood, including stuffed shrimp, did not enjoy theirs at all. My husband took a bite of something on his plate, and before he could ptotest, a busser had removed his plate right out from under him without even asking if he was finished. But perhaps the worst thing was when someone asked for melted butter to dip their seafood into, instead of the oil blend dip that was provided, and was told they didn't have melted butter. Yet butter was provided for someone who ordered a baked potato. Maybe that was not real butter? Or maybe it was whipped buttet. Regardless, it seems ludicrous for a restaurant to be unable to serve melted butter for seafood dishes. As one of our group lamented, it's probably better to order seafood only at a seafood restaurant. However, if the management of this restaurant reads these reviews, please know that real butter should be an option, not only for seafood but for things like pancakes and waffles. And while I'm at it, real maple syrup for breakfast items would be appreciated, instead of that corn syrup imitation syrup stuff.

Last night, on my actual birthday, I walked out…read moreof Amato's carrying two steaming boxes that basically turned my 2025 into a perfect year in one bite. First, the Large Cheese. This is the pizza your childhood dreams of when someone says "pizza." The crust is thin but has that magical leopard-spotted char on the bottom, the kind that makes a satisfying crack when you fold a slice. Sauce is bright, just tangy enough to keep you reaching for another bite, and the cheese... dear lord, the cheese. It's a molten blanket of whole-milk mozzarella that stretches like it's auditioning for a slow-motion commercial, then snaps back with that perfect oily sheen. No grease pool, just pure dairy glory. I ate three slices before I even made it to the car. Zero regrets. Then I opened the Sicilian and actually said "holy sh*t" out loud in my kitchen. This thing is a glorious brick of happiness. The corners, those fabled corner slices, are basically fried cheese cubes hugging a pillowy, olive-oil-soaked interior. The bottom is crisp like focaccia that went to war and won, and the sauce on top has that slow-cooked sweetness with little specks of herb that make you feel fancy even when you're eating it straight out of the box with your hands like an animal. The cheese caramelizes right at the edges, turning mahogany and nutty. I'm 99% sure this pizza added years to my life. I've had pizza in New York, New Haven, Naples, and Detroit. This random Tuesday-night birthday pickup just kicked every single one of them down the stairs and took their lunch money. If you're within 50 miles of this place and you don't go get these two pies, I'm sorry, but we can't be friends anymore. 11/10. Would sell my remaining birthday cake for another one right now. Go. Right now. Thank me later.
