Pressed is a coffee bookstore than my best friend has done nothing but rave about saying "their set…read moreup is just the best!" So when I drove up from SC to visit I had to see what all the fuss was about. Sadly, I took more videos than photos as umm be posting them to my author and book pages (@shewriteswithknives). So if you're wanting an interior look by me you'll have to check there at a later date. Now let's get into it. Pressed is cute. Very cute! This bookstore had a particular charm that made me want to look everywhere at once without being overloaded. I was excited to see they had less mainstream books, thus making their selection a bit wider. I somehow managed to only buy one book and paired it with a lavender matcha iced latte. On top of their book selection they have several cute stickers, hats, candles and assorted bookish knickknacks to enhance your reading experience. I'm very glad I was able to drop by.

We walked into the bright and welcoming bookstore before heading over to the coffee shop and I instantly felt a tinge of happiness! The coffee shop is very bright with floor to ceiling windows, several seating arrangement and a creative menu that had monthly specials that are boom themed. I opted for an iced lavender latte with oat milk 1/2 sweet. The baristas were really friendly and even offered me a punch card for my next visits. My coffee was great, the flavor was perfect . I hope to visit again during my next trip to Erie (unfortunately they don't open until 8am). If you're ever in the area grab yourself a cup of coffee and cozy up with a good book!

The space itself is small enough to feel cozy with plenty of seating options, including high-top and low-top tables, two couches, and a bar along the front window, which is great for people who want to spend some time there. There are plenty of outlets and two private bathrooms, both stocked with sanitary products. Drink wise, you won't find an elaborate list of over the top designer lattes here but they do have a seasonal beverage or two and a variety of syrups (rose, lavender, caramel, etc) you can add to enhance your drink. I'm a sucker for their mocha. It's so rich and delicious without being heavy or overly sweet. They also have some baked goods & some of the best ice cream sandwiches I've ever had. Recently, Ember & Forge installed a free food pantry outside, another reflection of their deep commitment to our community. It's easy to feel good supporting a business like that.

There are order tablets on each table to make ordering/customizing easy, stress free and efficient, as well as kiosks located by the bar for easy to-go ordering. All of the orders are delivered by an adorable lil cat robot named "meow meow" and he was absolutely a highlight. The drinks, entrees, and appetizers were all amazing! The ambiance and aesthetic, along with the amazing wall murals, were incredible. I would easily say that this is one of the best Asian restaurants that I've been to and it's definitely worth the trip! Needless to say, we will definitely be recurring customers.

I usually just stop in to grab a drink to go rather than dine in, but it's a nice environment overall. The menu is extensive, which I appreciate -- there's always something new to try, so it never feels repetitive. Overall, it's a reliable place for a fun beverage from time to time. Definitely worth stopping by.

You can add avocado, which is always a big selling point for me. They have various breads and rolls made in house, including a cheesy garlic. I had a chicken sandwich. One son had a hot dog, the other chicken tenders. everything was well made and served promptly. The only thing I didn't like is the sandwiches came with chips made in house instead of fries unless you paid extra, and the chips were kind of bland. Service is great. The space is lovely. I think I'll try breakfast next time we're in the area. I think it's available all day.

I ordered the Country Fried Steak Breakfast with a side of potato pancakes, which was fantastic! It was served perfectly, and the portion was generous. Prices are very reasonable. Upon entering, you can view their cases displaying all the baked goods... which looks delicious. I highly recommend it, and I will definitely be going back!
