If I could give zero stars - I would. The lack of accountability and lies by the owner of this gym…read moreshould alarm any customer. WHEN A BUSINESS STEALS YOUR MONEY, AND DOESN'T PROVIDE SERVICES - ITS CALLED THEFT. I NEVER GAVE PERMISSION FOR THE GYM TO KEEP OR MOVE FORWARD A 1000 BALANCE OF MY MONEY (NOT THEIRS) - MY AVERAGE USAGE WAS 285 OR 335/Month Owner lied to my face on 12/1 when she said "she would take care of it if they had billed me too much- Ken was a witness when she said it. Today, my personal trainer Ken Mills said that "you are on your own" (100% his exact words) with Anytime Fitness' billing. And he's correct. Furthermore yesterday, the owner told me that if they had been overbilling me - she'd "issue a refund" (her exact words) if that was the case. TURNS OUT...yes...they had approximately 28 sessions...about 1080 banked...for no good reason. And turns out 2 days later - she was not willing to give me a partial refund and was just going to stop billing me for 3 months. Which wasn't what she said 2 days earlier. What a joke. When I first joined the gym in 2022 the previous owner screwed up my billing - we got it fixed, my personal trainer Ken Mills said he would make sure it doesn't happen again until its been happening again and again and again Since they won't keep track of any of this - from the moment you step in that door - you better keep track of every transaction. Ken stands up for the new owner's bad customer service and billing, yet would tell you with a straight face that I was his best customer. Didn't lift a finger. Thinks the gym should be able to just keep your money as they see fit. Your takeaway, if you should work out here is, you are 100% on your own even if you pay for a personal trainer. Keep this place on a super short leash. Don't let them have access to auto bill you monthly. The money goes to the local owner's account, according to Anytime Fitness. Not corporate. Which totally explains why the new owner said one thing but 2 days later - nope! Its all shady. Simply another gym with shady people doing shady things to make sure that they maximize the amount of money they could humanly rip you off - for. Please, share and enjoy!

I moved away to Round Rock area and came back almost 2 years later and the same friendly staff are present and ready to great me. This tells my age but I am fine so I will say when I go to the FC, it's like coming to "Cheers" ( the show from the 80's). FC is one of my favorite Wellness Centers. Ty

I went under contract for personal training thru my current gym -- Fitness Connection Clear Creek…read moreAustin, Texas location. I am a 100% permanent and total disabled veteran. All of which I made the trainer aware of prior to signing the contract. After just two sessions of the trainer not respecting my physical limitations, my back locked up and sent me to the emergency room. This episode continued into three weeks of excruciating pain and limited mobility. The emergency room trip took place in December, I have not been back to the gym since. Upon reviewing my contract, I saw there is a "Cancellation Policy No Fee" clause stating, "if by reason of death or permanent disability, the customer is unable to continue the Agreement, Buyer or Buyer's estate shall be relieved from the obligations of the contract, and if buyer has prepaid any sum, the unused portion shall be promptly refunded. Legitimate doctor's office note and verification of permanent disability/permanent inability to participate in the activities or death of customer is required." I have provided official letters from my VA primary care physician, VA chiropractor, as well as my VA verification letter of my permanent and total 100% disability status for review of medical termination. The elevate fitness contact "Jon Nelson" has rejected all documents as insufficient, claiming to need further specification of physical restrictions and duration of restrictions -- other than the permanent 100% disability and restriction from anything heavier than five lbs or any activity that worsens my chronic conditions...? I have asked to speak to someone above him, as well as attempting to put in my official 30 day cancellation request -- both with no response. At this point, I could not in good faith recommend the personal training services here to anyone under any circumstances. There is a clear lack of care or concern for the actual health and long term wellbeing of their clients. Their only notable concern is profit with no regard to conducting ethical business.

They offer Olympic -style weight lifting, athletic training as well as high intensity workouts. When is the last time you worked out in a sandbox or ran on turf grass or had someone harnessed to you? The exercises here are varied so the workouts are much more interesting. The instructors are hands-on, friendly and very fit--think Olympic athletes. The classes are small so when you are here, there is a sense of genuine camaraderie among the group. Each class is also modified to meet your needs, you work to your best and the instructors will be there to guide and push you. My favorite of their classes is the HIT IT, which combines strength and conditioning and high-intensity all in 1 short hour. The class is fast paced and I always feel greatly sore when I leave. They offer a trial class for free. Registering is online and very easy.

The equipment is all top notch, including a lot of professional training gear that other gyms don't provide, because the staff has to have some expertise in order to help you use it properly.
