The leasing office agents here are extremely helpful and always upbeat and willing to hear out any issues and do everything in their power to aid in finding a resolution. Fast, friendly, and effective maintenance crew, amazing landscaping and colorful apartment units with generous floor space. -Also Lee at the front desk is an absolute all star at his job :) read more

Elizabeth was so helpful during our process. She responded almost immediately to my texts for phone calls. I asked her 100 questions and kindly answered them all and didn't make me feel like I was bothering her. I was having issues with the application and again, Elizabeth was just a phone call or text away to help. She definitely made it a smooth process all the way around. She made viewing the apartment easy and simple. Thank you , Elizabeth! read more

The maintenance ppl that work here are amazing. The office sucks u can't get a hold of anyone when u need something, but when they need something from you they r there in a flash. Office been closed since covid and still hasn't opened up. Anywho, the maintenance guy named Brandon always does a great job ,and beyond what I need. Never had such kind maintenance ppl. Thank you read more

This place is a total scam, lacks any ethics and overly expensive for such a cheaply built apartment complex, and all amenities are very poor, I.E small gym (not a lot of equipment), small pool that has too many people trying to swim in it and is always down for maintenance, etc. I lived here for almost a year and the noise from my original neighbors upstairs was enough to prevent me from getting 6-8 hours of sleep, on pretty much any night. It got better with the next residents but it made me need find somewhere else to live. The place had a cheap carpet that was not damaged at all by me and came with paint spots, stains and was improperly cleaned (I have worked as a professional carpet cleaner) and without any explanation, photos, evidence, communication, nothing but they are trying to charge me over $1000 for it on top of several other unexplained charges and will not respond to emails or answer their phone. They will hide behind their 80+ page agreement and those 80+ pages so they can get as much money out of you as possible and it's very unlikely give you your security deposit back as they will make up charges that far exceed $600. Only good thing about this apartment complex is they had a very cool and nice maintenance crew and some nice staff workers all of whom are probably underpaid for the work they do because this is a soul-sucking business but outside that, be very very cautious about renting here, especially if you own a pet. I could go into much more detail but overall I'm so glad to be out, this place was miserable to live in for me and they are trying to make it miserable for leaving, despite never missing a payment or causing an issue. Very disappointing. read more

I want to give a Shout Out to this complex, it's a beautiful place to live always clean and they have the Best Maintenance Team. This property is well cared for by a smart competent eager friendly group of maintenance guys. Keep up the Good Work and I'll live here forever!! THANK YOU!! read more

Absentee management who never are available to answer their phones, are never in person at the office, and fail to timely communicate with renters. Maintenance issues that linger without being properly fixed the first time. Aged appliances and cut corners. You shouldnt pay to live here, especially not the crazy rents they charge. read more

Shout out to Allan and Hector! I saw them out at 7:30AM last Friday, shoveling the parking lots and hills leading to the main road. THANK YOU! read more

My family and I have been living here for 1.5 years and we like it here. Though the inside of the apartments may feel older, such as the cabinets, closet doors, room doors, and the appliances but with the helpfulness of the team here at Stonehedge it balances everything out. They also have a great maintenance crew who will try to come on the day of your work order. They try their best to get the job done on the same day and if they can't finish it, they let you know when they can come back and they always do. I really do like and trust the maintenance team here. In Summer 2015, the windows and sliding doors were all newly replaced, which makes it less cold in the winter and that's a plus! Before my family and I moved here, I would temporary visit my sister, who has lived here for 5+ years, and the previous Manger (2014) would snoop around and question my 10 year old nephew about me and my sister's family. I have to say that was really unprofessional of the previous manger, but today we have a new, kind, and great manger and her name is Tavia. . Thank you Stonehedge Village for being so kind and friendly to my family. read more

I can not say enough FANTASTIC things about Stonehedge Village. The town homes themselves are the largest sq ft age around and the price point is affordable especially with all the extra amenities! The staff is really what makes it wonderful LEE & TAVIA really treat you like family! The maintenance workers are so friendly and outgoing. The staff really goes out of their way to help and it's noticed they go above and beyond for their tenants. I LOVE living at Stonehedge Village!I always recommend this neighborhood to ALL my friends and family! read more

The smoking. They don't tell you it's a smoking apartment community, but it is. Apparently, they value the right of some tenants to smoke over the right of other tenants to live without secondhand smoke billowing in their windows and doors. Also, the lights are so bright in the parking lot outside, you can't sleep in those rooms that face the front. Otherwise, it's fine. But look elsewhere if you value your health and/or ability to sleep. read more

Talking to the manager won't do any good- she finds a way to blame things on the tenant that complains, and nothing will change. We can't leave our window open for long in the spring/summer or the apt fills up with smoke smell. This is a smokers' apartment complex. read more

I lived here for 9 months after transferring from a sister property. I couldn't have been happier with the front desk team who was always helpful, and even dropped off HelloFresh at my front door so my food didn't spoil when FedEx delivered it to the wrong address. Maintenance was on-site within hours of a request, and were happy to help fix any issues, including changing out an entire fridge because the door had a crack in the plastic. The apartment was quiet, the grassy areas were well maintained, and the staff was extremely helpful. 5 stars. read more

Nothing beats this community in the entire area! The units are excellent in size and layout and are downright reasonable in price considering all that is included. We were impressed from the start with Assistant Property Manager Lee Gillins, he treats people with enormous courtesy and respect, it was literally the first time ever that we felt as though we had a person advocating on our behalf to get the best possible home for our needs. We feel that we have the perfect arrangement here, the staff is simply outstanding, the property is well maintained and scenic, the units in excellent working order, you can not do better! I would recommend this community to anyone, you will be impressed!! read more

Please please please, do not rent here. Despite their attempts at getting rid of mold, they don't work. Mold grows in the closets, in the corners, and even inside the bathroom toilet seats (this is with me bleaching them hoping it'd kill the mold.) On top of the mold, I've experienced sexual harassment from the maintenance crew. I'm afraid to be around them, so if you are a female, please consider going elsewhere for a place of residence. The only office staff that is even remotely friendly, is Jennifer. She's been amazing ever since we moved in and hopefully one day she'll be with a better company. Throughout the years, ants have lived inside the apartment despite our best attempts at getting rid of them. Just, don't rent here. Find a better place that isn't owned by Essex. read more

Its all about the maintenance team here! They are AMAZING and fast as well as professional and super friendly! Thank you guys for taking such good care of us! read more

I am surprised about the bad reviews as my experience has been the opposite here. I have been here closing in on a year now and still no complaints. Management has always treated me well, maintenance has been great the few times I have needed help and always respectful and courteous. My neighbors have all been wonderful as well. I am still very happy here. Overall nice neighborhood, beautiful layout of the complex (think more townhouse style than apartment complex). read more

Just want to say a BIG THANK YOU to Allen in maintenance at the Stonehedge Apts. He is always friendly & professional ... and always willing to help when needed. Thank you Allen. Mike Leverett V101 read more

GOOD STUFF: - timely responses when you ask questions, maintenance needs, and general issues *not always solved, but to be positive, same-day responses* - i was allowed to move into a different apartment when i had a neighbor that i was told was being discriminatory against me (i had to pay the difference to move, but they allowed my rent to stay at the same cost). NOT SO GREAT: Management does not have the power to actually address issues (the common response is "i can't control who has guests over, can't control if people are loud, i don't keep track of who is here) which tends to be frustrating when this is the response to... .well, pretty much everything when quality of life is questioned. As an example, my neighbor likes to have 6 friends park in our parking lot (the max amount of cars per apartment is 2), and then leave for softball tournaments in one vehicle, so parking close to where you live is not always available. also, when these guys all come back, i can only assume we help him pay for water, sewer etc since it's pro-rated per occupancy, and i assume he doesnt have 7 people on his lease). however, since it's not their "job to know who is there/who isnt"; there's nothing they can do about it. You will be told to call the security service, and that's that. Why i won't renew my lease or live here again: - lack of holding people to their leases, which you will have to deal with as a tenant. it's not "their problem" (i.e. if you like to be loud and not give a crap about living in an apartment community or being courteous, LIVE HERE!!! you can do anything you want and not be held accountable!!!) - dog poop EVERYWHERE my kids try to play (dog friendly, as a result though, this may be a bonus if you don't like cleaning up after your large breed dog!) - if you bring something to management's attention, you'll feel like it's your fault for noticing something, or complaining about something. - VERY THIN WALLS - you will hear your neighbor cough, snore, and make other "noises". - i will not be renting from any essex property in the future, nor will be renewing my lease. counting down the months.... again. read more

Called in inquiring about breed restrictions because on their website the only restriction listed was "pitbull". I have an Alaskan Malamute. Apparently Malamutes are a breed restriction even though they are not listed. No big deal, I'm used to the rejection, I'll look elsewhere. I thanked the woman for her time and she asked me if there was any way I could get someone else to take care of my dog......I had to ask if she was serious....What dog owner would give up a precious life just so that they can rent an apartment? It became very clear to me that this complex does not care about anything but making money off of people. I've never been asked that before. I was honestly shocked. Bad sales practices.... read more

My life is so much better now that I have moved out of this place. There is hardly any natural light and mold grows everywhere. They don't fix things in a timely manner and things fall apart on a regular basis. Most importantly, it's not worth the money we had to pay and they screwed us over with our deposit and charges at the end of it all. read more

I really want to give a shout out to Allan the maintenance man! Over the last 2 1/2 years he has been incredible and always fixes things immediately! I want to personally thank Allan because it's nice knowing that if anything goes wrong he can fix it:) read more

I've lived here for 6 years. In two different units. In all of those years I've had one bad (noisy) neighbor. The neighborhood is usually very quiet, and though management has changed a couple of times, I've seen nothing but friendly people working in the office. The maintenance crew has always been very quick to respond to work orders, which have been few and far between because they're already nice units. It's a huge property, very dog and kid friendly with a giant field right next to the pool. The gym isn't super spectacular but it's all you really need to get a full workout in, i use it about 3 times a week. Honestly as far as apartments go, this place is great. I don't understand what everyone is complaining about. read more

Renting this apartment has been one of the worst decisions I have ever made. My unit was previously rented by drug dealers, and they turned it over in a week. Nails stick out of the carpet, drawers aren't on tracks, in fact, they don't even have tracks, the kitchen floor has had to be repaired multiple times, and each time they have managed to make it worse, the maintenance men sexually harass the tenants, the office is openly and blatantly rude to everyone, they have extremely poor money management skills and every month they forget how much to charge you, and leave notes on your door asking for $1-15 dollars more that is not due, and the worst part of it all is that I contacted corporate to try to and get some of these issues resolved, and I was ignored multiple times. I simply don't know how these people have managed to stay in business. read more

my family and i have lived here for over 6 months and are extremely happy with the management team as well as the maintenance guys and the grounds crew! this apartment is more spacious than my previous condo and you cannot beat having all this green space around us! if i need assistance or have a question, the awesome stonehedge team ia ready and willing to help. these bad reviews dont sound in the slightest to me like they are legit so i still think its a 5 star place and great for families! read more

Jennifer was extremely helpful and thorough as a leasing agent and willing to help us with other Essex properties as needed. We found the property very attractive, but the apartment was too small for our needs. Unfortunately, we toured during the afternoon when most people were at work, so I can't speak to other reviewers' issues. read more

Decent apartments in Kirkland/Bothell area, but there are better options out there. I'll start with the positives. It is a great location. Lots of grocery stores and restaurants just down the road and Kirkland waterfront just a 5-10 minute drive. We lived here for 2 years and always felt safe. There seems to be a lot of families and older people living in the complex. Office staff was helpful whenever we had questions. The apartments are pretty spacious and ours was 2 floors which was nice. The area is private and provided a nice view of a forest like scenery from our balcony. Now for the issues we had. They significantly increased our rent each year we renewed our lease. Initial rent was in the $1200 range. After the first year it increased to over $1300. We opted to renew and the following year saw another increase to over $1500. We finally had enough and found a new apartment. Our apartment did not warrant these prices after the increase. It was not updated, as many of the other apartments in the complex had been. Kitchen, bathroom, and appliances were all very outdated. It was old and run-down. We would have no problem paying higher rates for an updated apartment, but it seemed very unfair. In our new apartment search, we found much higher quality at those prices in the same area. Additionally, we were not happy with the amount we owed at move out. We are a clean young couple. We spent an entire weekend cleaning the apartment from top to bottom and left it in what we thought was the condition we got it in. Typical to any apartment complex, we expected the usual carpet cleaning and oven drip pan fees. Of course they managed to charge us ridiculous added fees for cleaning and "partial repainting." Even with our deposit we owed over $100 extra. read more

i am absolutely agree, they screw with deposits at the end, and mold everywhere, nowhere natural light, very expensive, and everything breaks, they don't fix things, i wont recommend anybody to rent this apartment. read more

I have lived here for almost 3 years and I am happy of the changes this property has made over this time. Locks on the pool gate so that non-residence don't sneak in with all of their buddies. The maintenance workers are not only extremely professional, they treat you like family and are very nice and funny too!! The Management come up with great Holiday fun that has made this complex a great and secure community!! I have just adored these ladies - they have always been wonderful and inviting as soon as you walk in the door. :) When issues of drunken and disorderly guests at 3am had occurred - they are first to contact the resident associated and let them know this is not appropriate. I trust that when irresponsible people try to push that these Property Managers will show them the door!!! We all deserve to have a safe, fun, clean and positive community and I feel Stonehedge Village rises to a higher standard to bring this to us!! I highly recommend living here - it feels like home, not an apartment complex. It will be a great transits ion from here to a house!! read more
