Last Sat. I had a tour with Eugene as I am hoping to become a resident at the 104 Apartments within the next month in June. I had friends with me for moral support. Eugene was amazing. Very friendly, answered all my questions & questions my friends had. He was very thorough, explaining everything. We were so impressed with the building, how well kept & the vibe of the building was awesome. Manager of the property is great. He and Eugine helped us to move in asap and without any issues. However, please make changes to staff of maintenance department. It's such a scam and unprofessional. You rent an apartment and hoping that everything will work in the apartment. But no, after the first use of the sink in our apartment, we found out that our garbage disposal needs to be replaced. Why would we need to find out the first night we stayed? They did change it, but only on the third day. We weren't able to wash dishes and use the sink in the kitchen, plus it was all stinking. They did fix it, but the maintenance person left track-in dirt from shoes on the floor. Will it be acceptable if it were your home? Days later we found out that our Room Darkening Vinyl Blinds were broken before us. And they fixed it by putting tape on it. Is it even normal? It's our second week in that apartment and I have no idea what to expect next. I do understand that it's not a brand-new apartment, but you can't let anybody rent it without fixing it. read more

left this place in August and i am still getting a pse bill for this apartment when I'm on pud and live in a house away from king county! calling them is not enough seems and they don't look as busy as they claim. Management is always changing guess the turn over rate is really high for easy work! a lot of fake smiles and promises until you get your lawyers involved with letters. so when are you guys going to answer my phone calls about the pse bill that's coming to my new address and I have moved out of apartment 116 in April? read more

Update 1/27- From 1 star to 3! Trash issue has dramatically improved and I'm sure it's the result of a much needed maintenance staff change. Also, current management is open to helping make improvements. Elevators are working so I would say, the 104 is meeting the minimum requirement to adhere to it's written and advertised services and amenities. The management and the long-time maintenance employee are all nice, lovely people. They even try to hold Covid-compliant social events. Adorable! I think we would still like the rolling carts and a little improvement in the cleanliness of the entrances to the building from the garage, especially around the trash areas and the back entrance. Previous 1 star review from early January 2022- I'm embarrassed to even post this photo. The trash has been an issue since I moved in over a year ago. Maybe finally posting something and including a picture will lead to some change. Mgmt will blame snow, the holidays, Covid somehow, and it will stay this way. A few months ago, the elevator was broken for over 9 months. We had 2 convenience carts that broke and were never replaced. Now both garage doors are broken (one has been broken about a year now). Staff very rude and discourteous. When they do engage in conversation, not only is it unpleasant but short and clipped. The manager may need to take a class on hospitality, as she comes off as unapproachable. This is not a good place to live. read more

I've been living here for 15 months now. If you'd asked me 9 months ago, I'd have given it 5 stars. Unfortunately, things change. They actually seemed to operate better during covid than they do with normal apartment operations. For one thing, maintenance is a disaster. I've had a request in to seal my windows for the entire 15 months. I've had 2 different maintenance guys come in to measure for replacement screens that aren't all bent up, and the screens have never materialized. And I can't tape the windows shut cause they'll charge me for that (I know, because they charged the prior resident for doing the same thing). When my stove broke and was turning things to charcoal, the first maintenance guy closed my ticket and told me that I must have had the burner on hotter than I thought. (Cause I'm a woman, so I must not understand how electronics work....) I had to put in another ticket before someone came out and was *shocked* to realize that I was right. There are 2 elevators, 1 of which has been broken for months. At the same time, the stairwell entrance near me was broken for the first several months I lived here due to a permissions problem in the system and again recently. One garage door is broken and has been stuck open for months. My bike was stolen out of the garage, which didn't have camera coverage. And tonight I couldn't get in the front door of the building because the entry system wasn't working. The princess (team member) in the office heard me banging on the door and ignored it, sitting sealed up in the glass tower (the office). The maintenance staff does the same thing that so many deficient support teams do - close tickets before confirming that the "solution" is actually a solution. For example, my ticket about the stairwell door locking me out was initially closed when I was told to get a new fob - too bad nobody told the office, cause they didn't have one for me. Oops. They sent lease renewal notice 6 weeks ago. Guess who doesn't have renewal paperwork or even written confirmation that I'm renewed as I rapidly approach the "you better tell us before ___ date or you risk not being renewed" deadline. Me! Despite my several emailed requests for confirmation that this was in process, the best I got - and I had to stop by the office twice to get it - was a verbal notice that "I haven't gotten those out yet." Lots of residents want unreserved parking spots ($75/mo) rather than reserved ($125/mo). Even though all the spots are numbered and they could just update how many are reserved...they don't. They have a waiting list though. So you can join the other many people in the building who want unreserved. That extra $50 ensures that you have the same spot all the time, right? Except when people shopping in downtown Bothell park in your spot and the office staff tells you they're going to wait 45 minutes to call the tow truck to be nice to strangers who parked in spots clearly marked reserved. What are you supposed to do with your car for an hour? The office has no plan for that. But we do know that that $50/mo isn't paying for anyone to tour the garage for security purposes or call towing on people stealing reserved spaces. They implemented this mandated laziness program where you put your recycling outside your door at night. But only certain nights, and you better not put it out too earlier to bring your bin in too late. And you're forced to keep an extra bin that you didn't ask for. $25/mo, no exceptions, even if you live 10 feet from the recycling room like I do. I had to play 20 questions to get the rationale out of the office - turns out it's because it costs them money to clean the hallway carpet when people bring recycling down the hallway. So.... they implement a measure that saves them money, AND they charge us for it. That's double "savings" - we're paying them to save them money. Super shitty. If I wanted stupid shit like this, I would live in downtown Seattle and also pay for a zen room and a theater room nobody uses. One star is because I like the layout and materials in my unit, and 1 star is because the woman who cleans the common areas is a rockstar. The common areas are immaculate. read more

The one that made this spot even more amazing to live at was........... LEISHA HOLT! Her warmth, welcoming energy was regularly felt morning after morning without fail.. The front office was often closed and she was always ready to support anyone in that building, I really appreciate her. She always made sure the tenants were appreciated for and cared about. To say these folks took care with me is way too light a comment. I suffer from a serious health condition that results in some unusual symptoms, and recently moved into The 104. The management staff, Kristin and Shauna have just been amazing with the challenges I bring with me in making this move and setting up in a new situation. Not just in going above and beyond for me, but in doing so with human compassion and genuine kindness. And the head maintenance bro Louis was so friendly and easygoing in doing a good deal of work above what one might normally expect. It never felt like I was asking too much. Just super friendly and kind. I know this building has recently changed management, so take that into consideration when reading reviews here and elsewhere. You will notice that the more recent reviews are very different. These guys are striking a nice balance between running midsized complex while giving it a small complex feel. As far as the building and apartments themselves, they are newer and in outstanding condition as far as I can see. They are kept up well. And the location is actually fairly amazing. Bothell is going through a cool overhaul and this place is just close to everything, UW/Cascadia, freeway access, shopping, restaurants, and Burke-Gilman/Sammamish trails. It's very dog and bicycle friendly, to the point of having a mini-bike-shop in the garage, and a mini-dog-park. read more

To further update this review, the management of this building whether it was Christie or the other gal or Alexis from Hello Landing broke into the apartment last night and changed the locks on the apartment locking us out. Without notice without any warning. We have contacted legal services and are pursuing action. They preemptively called the local police department and though they claim a civil matter, the police threatened to arrest us if we stepped foot in the building we have been in for 6 months. The management claimed to not know us and then sent mocking text messages laughing at us. I am appalled by their actions and the actions of the owners of this building. After 5 days we were finally allowed to enter the apartment long enough to grab our belongings. No eviction notice and no trespass according to the police department. Matter of fact, when they went looking for the property manager, whomever she or he is, there was surprisingly no one there. Well, except one of the maintenance guys who I can only guess was one of the thieves that stole my fiancée and my property. Standard for this place. Took my to-be wedding ring along with my watches and her jewelry box and several other things we cherish. Paintings that are irreplaceable as the artist no longer does art. We were treated horribly until they finally let my fiancé into the place. After all was said and done, we are still in a hotel and still have yet to hear about how we were evicted or trespassed. Really the only thing this place was is a money pit. I found that I paid $1200 more for a single bedroom place than every other individual in this building just to be treated as though we broke in the place and stayed. So if you're reading this Ms. Property Manager, I hope you are learning that you can't treat people this way and that lying and stealing is wrong. read more

This is the first apartment complex I have lived in and I'm happy with the complex. Compared to the experiences of my friends in other places, I can say that the 104 is worth the extra price you pay for. After a year and some initial issues that have since been resolved, I plan to stay another year as I'm attending under-grad classes at UW Bothell. The convenience and features are worth the extra price to the other locations around. The main entrance didn't use to be locked all hours of the day but it is now. The garage is secured at night so I don't have to worry about night break ins that I heard about at other complexes. I commute 115 miles a week by bicycle year round and one of the amenities I use frequently is the bike room with the common set of tools and a stand to do maintenance. Space inside any apartment is always limited and having a decided location to do bicycle maintenance means I don't have to stop commuting for a few days while the bike is in a shop. There's a small workout room but it doesn't get crowded except maybe during the new years resolution period. There is enough equipment to take care of the majority of workouts. The only thing I would ask to change is the organization of the equipment so that all the cardio machines can view the TV. There's a large lounge with a large TV where you can watch sports games or use the table and island to play board games. The apartment management will hold events from time to time to get the tenants to be more social. It can be rented out for private events. I don't have a lot of experience living in apartments but for my first time, I have been more than satisfied. read more

I've been a resident of The 104 for two years. Although they went thru some staff changes it's only been for the best. A great community and friendly neighbors. If there's ever issues within the apartment or with neighbors they are quickly addressed. Making payments has been a breeze with apps and online services. The office staff is friendly, easy to talk with and always supportive and providing direction to local community events or creating their own. What I love about The 104 is the location and friendly staff in the office. They work closely with the residents building community through events. They are quick to handle maintenance issues or concerns as well as constantly cleaning the building. Free coffee in the community room. Great BBQ and seating areas around the fire pit. Small close quarters creating that home town feel. read more

WARNING WARNING WARNING MONEY SCAMS at this apartment!!! Be careful with this apartment! If I could give this place a 0 star out of 5, I would. The girl named Taylore Burgin in the office made me pay $44 for the application and $300 for the deposit at the same time when I filled out the application. She told me that $300 would be refunded to me whether my application gets or doesn't get approved. After I filled out the application, she never contacted me. I had to keep calling and stopping by and she kept telling me she was still working on my application. After I spent a couple weeks calling and stopping by, she eventually told me that my application was approved with "conditions" and wanted me to pay triple for the move-in deposit. I was never informed about this approval with conditions and the triple deposit. I was only told that either my application got approved or disapproved (and either way she said they would give the $300 back). My point here is this place tried to make me pay for the deposit when they had not approved my application. Then they delayed the time and never got back to me, then finally told me they couldn't give any money back as promised as they needed to treat everyone "equally" and it's the company's policy. I thought I would write a review on this for whoever is considering this apartment in the future. Be careful dealing with this place! If they could use all kind of tricks to scam my money, they will do it to you next! read more

This is a beautiful apartment building in a beautiful location! The floor plans are open and the appliances are gorgeous. It's really nice being so close to restaurants and stores. I wish more of the apartments had patios but the shared grilling and fire pit area helps make up for that. All the apartment amenities are really well taken care of. We did have a set of bikes stolen from the garage so be extra careful. It's a very dog friendly building which is a blessing and a curse. A blessing if you have dog friends you want to being around and a curse because an apartment full of dogs often echoes with the yips of puppies! I'm very happy at the 104! read more

I have been a resident of the 104 Apartments for a little over a year and it's been great!! My apartment is very quiet, I rarely hear my neighbors and the complex is kept clean. It took 2 days to notify residents of a recent break-in. Soon after these break-ins, I came home later in the evening only to find that the front door is still unlocked. I highly recommend staying away from this place. It looks nice and has pretty nice apartment layouts. However, the walls and ceilings are paper thin and you will literally hear everything the people next to you and above you do. To make this problem worse, this place is extremely dog friendly and pretty much everyone has a small yapping dog. In the summer when people open their windows and porch doors, one dog will bark and then all the others in the near vicinity will join in. This can happen at all hours of the day and night. Another issue with the 104 is a shady and greedy management team. I originally selected the 104 since it was next to the UW campus and I could easily walk to school. I signed a 13 month lease with the understanding that I could go month to month after the lease ended since I would only be going to UW for two months after my lease ended. What they do not tell you, is that the "market rate" of your apartment will increase $225 in one year. If you sign another 13 month lease they will only increase your rent $100. However, if you want to go month to month, your rent will go from $1325 to $1550. Plus an additional $200 monthly fee for not being on a contract. This place is already way over priced as is without a $425 increase. To top it off when my security deposit was returned, they subtracted over $200 for cleaning an already clean apartment as well as apartment turn around time. Whatever that is. Going to have to take them to small claims court for the remainder. All in all, the price for this place is exorbitant and you will not get the value you are paying for. I do not exaggerate when I say the noise from the person above me sounded like an elephant stampede and occurred several times a day. read more

If you're looking for apartments in downtown Bothell, the 104 Apartments are a great place to call home. The management are welcoming, responsive, and caring. The building is beautiful, clean, and has great common areas, like a lounge and gym, with cable:) The residents are friendly and great neighbors. Not only are there shops and restaurants all a short walk away, but the beautiful Sammamish Trail and Bothell Landing Park are too. Love my Apartment! Spacious, Concrete floors, super easy to keep clean, modern and love having a small patio. Plenty of room for my Art Studio space in my 1 BR. Customer service is excellent and they are super responsive to concerns. Location in downtown Bothell is very convenient to freeways or getting to Seattle around the lake. Sammamish River Trail is a favorite with me...totally accessible every day. Walk to restaurants and small shops downtown within a few blocks. Get to know neighbors through monthly social events. Although it is close to UW, there are lot's of "mature" folks so everyone fits in. Missing one star, only because my location on the courtyard can be a bit noisy at night. read more

I have lived here since the very first day of opening. My and my boyfriend chose this place as we are students and it is conveniently close to campus, also its new and the staff was beyond friendly. I even got flowers when I moved in, what girl doesn't love pretty flowers. Throughout my stay here I have experienced everything under the sun, such as Seahawks parties, cider parties, thanksgiving, and ugly sweater parties.I find that all these events is a great way to get residents to mingle and who doesn't want to get to know their neighbors. We are so pleased with all of the amazing services from both Laurie and Josh that we are even considering signing another lease (all depending where we have a job). Came home to find my apartment was broken into after a vacation. No forced entry... Somehow someone got a key and went all stole all my personal Documents and anything that could be sold for value. They display that mail is needed to be picked up on a big screen in the lobby for anyone to see. Police haven't done anything about this and the management didn't do anything to help. They wouldn't break my lease early and had to wait to find someone to take my lease on. They don't have security cameras in the back exits. The apartment across from me also got broken into also. They informed the tenants later after they let go of one of the managers only to say that it wasn't their fault & not to worn that someone had key access. The 104 Apartments are better than I could have imagined! I am an empty nester and moved here to meet new people and do some things outside of my comfort zone. I am a social person by nature but not necessarily so by myself. I have created a wine community and have a great time together here at the Community Room as well as in downtown Bothell. The leasing agents here, Shauna and Kristen are amazing! They are always willing to do almost anything to ensure your happiness. It is a fairly quiet place as well. There are many different floor plans to choose from. I like the fact that the majority of the places are 1 bedrooms. It is very dog friendly community! I love puppies but do not have one right now so I can enjoy everyone else's until I get one of my own. read more

I LOVE living at the 104 Apartments! The staff, Lia and Kayla are wonderful and communicate with me regularly via email. Any communication I initiate by phone or email is followed up by either one of them in a prompt fashion. The apartments themselves are CLEAN, WELL-MAINTAINED, and I feel SECURE living there. The other tenants in the building are also kind and friendly. Based on the area and the appearance of the units, I feel that the rent prices are justified and reasonable. After having a terrible experience living at Kirkland Crossing (stay away from Pinnacle properties!!!), the 104 Apartments and its management have been a breath of fresh air. read more

I moved into the 104 about four months ago after a job relocation brought me here from California. Searching for a new home is already difficult, but looking from another state makes it that much more challenging. The girls in the leasing office were really nice and made the moving process really easy. The building is only two years old so everything is still pretty new. It's also close to all the downtown places so it's easy to walk everywhere. I've only been here a short period of time, but really enjoy it so far and would recommend this to other people. read more

My boyfriend and I love living here. We moved in nearly a year ago after living in a townhouse, so I was a little nervous about apartment living. It's incredibly quiet (noise was one of my main concerns) -- there was maybe one incident of loud music late at night, but the management quickly rectified the situation and communicated the resolution with all residents. The staff that we typically work with are Lia and Kayla. They're always incredibly friendly and greet us with a smile. Can't say enough good things. read more
