I Do Not Recommend This Property…read more I've had repeated billing and communication problems with Chateau Woods since moving in. Unfortunately, the pattern has become distressing, especially around billing. I still live here, so I do not write this lightly. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage current and future residents to carefully review their ledger, save all communications, and double-check every charge. The most troubling part has not only been the billing mistakes themselves, but the lack of urgency and accountability in correcting them. In my experience, several issues required repeated follow-up before they were addressed, and even admitted mistakes were not handled in a way that respected my time. One particularly serious situation involved my account being referred to collections even though I did not owe the amount in question. I received a call from a collection agency and had to spend a significant amount of time contacting the collection department, following up, and trying to get the matter corrected. When I raised the issue, I was told, "We stand by our practices." I was also told I would receive written confirmation that the issue was resolved, but that letter was never provided. There have also been other billing concerns that required repeated follow-up, explanations, and corrections. The amount of time I have had to spend trying to get basic answers and written confirmation has been extremely stressful. I am now requesting complete billing statements and explanations so I can have the account reviewed carefully. Based on my experience, residents should keep detailed records, save every message, and carefully review all billing activity.

Management is friendly and fast -- most maintenance issues we've come across have been solved same-day. The valet trash service is super convenient and reliable, and reduces the clutter that often comes with apartment dumpsters. One of the best things about our apartment is the PRICE. We got a fantastic deal on our apartment for such gorgeous interiors in a great location. My only minor complaint is that the ground floor units get pretty chilly -- they're not super well-insulated so we have to keep the heat on almost constantly, and our heating bill is a bit high. I haven't experienced any noise issues like other tenants have; I think I've only ever heard our upstairs neighbors once, and that was when they were putting together furniture. Overall I'm really pleased with this apartment complex, and it's a huge upgrade from the Essex property I came from before this.

Not sure why I am charged an electricity rate when I already get a bill from PSE. Garbage is $80 a month. Water rates are high and change monthly even when not in use. Pest control is an issue and while we are charged monthly I still have ANTS!! everywhere. I reviewed this place before and with a high rating. Not sure what happened here but If I could afford to, I would move.

It's such a scam and unprofessional. You rent an apartment and hoping that everything will work in the apartment. But no, after the first use of the sink in our apartment, we found out that our garbage disposal needs to be replaced. Why would we need to find out the first night we stayed? They did change it, but only on the third day. We weren't able to wash dishes and use the sink in the kitchen, plus it was all stinking. They did fix it, but the maintenance person left track-in dirt from shoes on the floor. Will it be acceptable if it were your home? Days later we found out that our Room Darkening Vinyl Blinds were broken before us. And they fixed it by putting tape on it. Is it even normal? It's our second week in that apartment and I have no idea what to expect next. I do understand that it's not a brand-new apartment, but you can't let anybody rent it without fixing it.
