Lazy staff, Ever worse maintenance. We had a security camera because of tons of theft and was told we couldn't have it up. Then the manager had the balls one day to request footage from said camera after someones apartment was broken into.. People are incredibly noisy & "Management" won't do anything to fix the issue, People sneak in at night and illegally dump their trash in the dumpsters and YOU get to pay for it... read more

This place is infested with fleas and management tells us it wouldn't be feasible to treat the area. Why are we charged a monthly pest fee? If you have a dog DO NOT MOVE HERE. The rabbits in the area are likely the source as they roam free and they are absolutely everywhere. They've been "considering" fixing the hot tub at least since we moved in February but they said it's too expensive. Maintenance has been quick to respond and friendly. The area is visually pleasing and has a decent walking trail. The gym is smaller than the pictures may suggest. You can get maybe 3 people working out at once and more often than not someone is in there working out. read more

I've lived a lot of places over the years. I actually just counted about 20. I've lived in Southern California (San Diego, Orange County, LA, etc), Seattle (Ballard, North Seattle). Out of all of the apartments and condos this is my favorite. Been here for a little over a month and I'm sad to say I won't be able to stay longer, because I Iove living here. I lived in a few different areas down in Seattle and this place is so much more peaceful it is difficult to explain how much I appreciate it. The grounds are nicely kept, staff is super helpful. Dog friendly too. My only gripe, and this goes for anywhere a large number of people live together, is that some people don't separate their trash from recyables and vice versa, putting them into the wrong waste container. Either they are too dumb or lazy or both, but I see this everywhere. I am in a ground floor 1 bed unit and couldn't be happier. It's a very roomy apartment, at 750 sq ft. Tall ceilings are a nice touch. Hard flooring, which I much prefer as a dog owner. Nice new appliances, tons of counter space. The kitchen is really fantastic for someone who likes to cook and eat. The washer and dryer are so efficient it's almost magical how quickly clothes are clean and dry in such a short amount of time. And they are quiet too! The place is just off Bothell Everett Hwy, so its far enough away to avoid road noise but shopping is right across the street, I make little walking trips to Fred Meyer once in a while. 405 freeway is literally down the street. Plenty of places to eat, shop, gyms, etc.. Everything is close by. There is a nice little walking path and it passes by the creek and pond. It's great. read more

I created a yelp account just for this review. Plan to pay an extra months rent in move out cost. The apartment was fine while we were living there. However, when we went to move out, they took our entire security deposit and charged us for any and every little thing. I would recommend finding somewhere else to live. read more

I just moved in and so far in the first month it's been super quiet. I rarely hear my neighbors, even with normal every day noises they're very quiet and barely noticeable. Tons of open parking - even when I get off work at 2 am. It's on a busy road, but somehow you hear nothing and it feels like you're tucked out of sight. The area seems very safe. The apartment is beautiful. Flat too shoved, USB outlets in the kitchen, island countertop, deep sink, FULL sized washer and dryer (literally cut my laundry loads in half and they work well), on top of that there's a laundry room with extra storage and a small pantry! The rooms are very spacious. The only downfall so far is the typical no lights in the rooms thing, but I've already got lamps so that's an easy fix. 10/10 best place I've lived so far. read more

Approval and move-in were simple and fast. Move-in costs were reasonable despite the high rent cost. Quiet neighborhood. Nice and spacious with updated appliances. Close to the transit center and withing a few miles of downtown Bothell. Restaurants, and grocery stores within walking distance. Great location for working professionals. read more

I really enjoy living in this community, moved my self in August of 2017 from Florida and just this month moved my wife and 2 children as well. the Management leaded by Aimee is on top of any needs of the buildings and facilities keeping all in top notch and that is very importan as a resident. There are continues community get together for us that are organized by Aimee and her team. Their always friendly attitude and smile makes it very inviting to approach with any questions. Turns out the end of a contract is not the end of a contract with these guys. They auto renew your policy if you don't give them 20 days notice. Very inconvenient when you move out and turn in keys and think you're done. read more

I love living here! My apartment is beautiful and large (Crest floor plan), the community is well maintained and kept clean. If I ever have maintenance needs (which do happen no matter where you live) they're always so prompt to fix it! My dryer broke one night and they came the next morning super early and fixed it (I had wet clothes that I needed for that day). My dishwasher broke and they replaced it right away. I don't have mold problems nor do I hear lots of noise from my neighbors. Midway through my lease I moved from a one bedroom (which I LOVED) into a two bedroom (friend-saver floor plan) and they were so helpful and accommodating. The complex staff are amazing. I love chatting with the ladies in the office, they're incredible, and the maintenance staff are very friendly. Parking can be a problem but I pay for a covered spot so that it's not an issue for me. The location is amazing, on the Bothell-Everett Hwy just 2 blocks away from the 405 on-ramps. Yes rent is high but welcome to Seattle. You're missing out if you don't at least stop by and take a tour! read more

My first review still stands true but this is for the move out process. Everything was fine, we turned in our notice to vacate - we then received a bill for all the remaining charges - I started to add them up. It was several hundred dollars over (I want to say around $300 but can't quite remember) what we were suppose to be charged. We were charged full pet rents for the month we were moving out, they prorated our renewal price and not our lease price.My husband ended up going in to talk with them as we couldn't reach them. They did agree that it was wrong and just said "our system is new and doesn't always add up" - how many other people were overcharged? Then came the move out inspection. I had our carpets cleaned and there was very little on the walls. They said we had to replace the entire carpet and padding - as well as pay for the apartment to be repainted. The move out inspector literally ran his finger over the walls in the place and that's how he determined it needed to be painted. I had lived in 5 apartments before this during college (you can only imagine what college kids do to a place) and we were never charged to paint it. They said we were "lucky" because it was a 10 year carpet and on year 9. So that was all prorated but we had to pay for ALL the labor for it to be replaced. That part didn't make sense. So in the end we had our $700 dollar deposit taken and we owed them just over $700 on top of it. The place is nice to live in but be prepared when you move out to lose your deposit and pay more. read more

My husband and I lived at Providence for over 3 years and had a great experience there. It was our first apartment together and we couldn't have asked for a better first home. Aimee was always very professional and friendly, and quick to answer questions we had. The apartment itself was very spacious compared to others we had looked at for the same price. We were on the third floor and LOVED the high ceilings, it made it feel that much bigger. Although we rarely used the gym, it has everything you could need, and we loved having the pool during the summer. The trails along the side of the complex were also great for evening walks.. even though it is in a busy part of Bothell it feels very secluded. The only reason we left Providence is because we decided to purchase a house, otherwise we would have stayed in our apartment. My only complaint is the noise from neighbors, although I feel like that is dependent on the neighbors you have.. and could happen at any apartment complex. The rent also kept increasing each year, but that seems to just be the market here in Washington right now. Moving out was very easy and we were happy to get the majority of our security deposit back. We definitely recommend living here! read more

I have lived across multiple apartments in Seattle and here are unbiased pros and cons Pros: 1. Location: Very close to freeway (without freeway being a nuisance) and other necessities 2. Maintenance: In 2 years have never had to remind about a service request. You raise it in online portal and they are fixed in 24 hrs Cons: 1. Terrible quality of construction and noise proofing. Not just noise from floors above, you get to here on your neighbors conversations through the walls. Not to forget toilet flushes from your upstairs neighbors in night. 2. Office staff: With exception of Beth, staff are passive aggressive. I know other reviewers are complimenting staff. But response would be wait for few months after moving in. 3. Price: On higher end compared to new communities not half a mile away 4. Amenities: The stupid club house with just a couch (no kitchenette and table chairs) is $50/day to rent. Providence, please compare yourself with your neighboring communities. They have well equipped club houses. And they don't charge a dime. read more

The staff here is the greatest. They are friendly, helpful and always pleasant. Aimee and Jodi even make complaining a good experience. Daniel and Scott handle even minor issues promptly and efficiently and are so nice. I'm impressed with the upkeep and grounds maintenance at this complex. This is probably the worst apartment experience I have so fare. The late fees $150.00 then every day $5 dollars. The late fee start on the 3rd which most apartments start on the 5th. All other charges so high. I will never recommend any body to rent this apartment. The manager won't even help you out. The apartment smell so bad too. read more

I just wanted to say that we really enjoyed our apartment at Providence Apartments. Management was very helpful with our relocation. The apartment worked well for us. We were on the third floor, and our view made us feel like we were living in a tree house. Our stay was short, which we knew it would be, as we were moving into a house. Staying in the community is good but The interesting part is when you move out. When we moved out we were charged over $1000. Even though we payed $170 for their peace of mind professional cleaning that is supposed to cover stains. There were food stains on carpet, I wonder what their professional carpet cleaning can remove. Very little marks on the window sills we had to pay for the painting costing over $200. In total we ended up paying for painting and the new carpet costing over $1000. We rented many apartments and never got charged more than $150. Be prepared for the huge move out costs. read more

Run, don't walk....I repeat, run, don't walk as far away from this complex as possible. Management here is ludicrous, unaccommodating, and just plain insults my intelligence. I recently moved out last week and management tried to overcharge me on anything they could. I spent hours cleaning, and still charged me a cleaning fee when the place was spotless. They then tried to charge me for utilities that they said were not paid for?? Yeah right!! When I insisted on showing them my records they folded up their cards on that one, saying that oh yeah, utilities were paid. They are a greedy bunch, not looking out for the best interests of their tenants, soley their pocketbook. I am SOOO happy to be moving out of here. My one year stay here has been horrible. I have been to management regarding my lease, fixing things in my apartment, and anytime that I interact with anyone in that office, it is as though they are doing me a favor by speaking to me. Adios!! Like I said, do yourself a favor and do NOT move in here. They don't even have cookies in their office. read more

I moved in in February with my boyfriend. I love living here. It has gorgeous grounds, amazingly friendly staff. I actually enjoy talking to the managers of this property. The maintienance men answer our requests quickly and they are so nice and friendly. Parking is first come first serve except for the undercover parking. I always come home to a spot even when I get off work at 11pm. The only reason I marked it down a star is that is it 100% no smoking. okay okay okay hear me out before you get all MOM status on me. I am a full time student and I work full time meaning I am barely home, but I would like to have one cigarette on my porch at night. I pay 960 a month plus water sewer garbage.... I had someone report me for smoking on my deck... its funny because my downstairs neighbors smoke weed every night and IT STINKS!!!! and the front desk wont do anything because they "can't prove it" I can't smoke my completely legal cigarette once a day? but they can smoke an illegal substance all night! Not cool in my book... other then that I adore this place I guess I will just have to keep walking off property for my nightly cigarette. read more
