This is has been the better option far as Honda dealerships go in my opinion. I've been to Carey Paul, Curry Honda, and Stonecrest Honda and their customer service is far better and I will drive for that. I stay closest to Curry Honda, but will drive to Stonecrest to get my car serviced. This past Saturday I needed an oil change and had an appointment (that's all I went in for). The service then became over $400 quote. I was told about a fuel injector service that my car was due for supposedly. Me thinking I'm being told good info say I'll get it if it's needed at this time after asking if it was. I was verbally told it would be $184. The quote had the total for this service alone as $215 (I was then told labor was added in the estimate), along with a cabin filter change and tire rotation on top of the oil change. I said the cabin filter can be taken off (FYI this service is overpriced, YouTube can show you how to do this on your own). After looking more into this fuel injection service within a few minutes I went back and asked for it to be removed (I didn't sign anything for the service). I was told that the car was already having the service done. I spoke to one of the managers Lindsey who was a great help in this situation and built my trust back with the dealership to handle the services. We spoke about the charge and she explained when this service is due and if it's a mandatory service or auxiliary. Thank you to Eric W. as well for the assistance with calling Lindsey for my issue. I appreciate the help of everyone because with inflation going on the last thing I'm trying to do is pay for services that I didn't need at the mileage I'm at. TLDR: Do not trust these people. They bold-face lie without shame. So disappointed. Friday (9/18/26) I purchased a used Odyssey. During the purchase, we determined that the brakes needed to be replaced and a wheel position sensor needed to be reset. I was presented with and signed two separate "we owe you" documents. Because I did private financing, I was to pick the car up when the bank check came in. It should take no more than a week. The dealership was to complete the repairs in that time. I was even lead to believe that the van was being worked on as I was leaving. Fast forward to Wednesday (9/23/26). I call to inform the dealership that the check has arrived and that I would be picking up the van that day. I show up, hand over the check, grab my documents and head out to get the van. I kid you not, it is at this very moment they inform me that the van has not been fixed. And that I could wait for them to do the repairs. I could not wait. I, along with the sales rep, made an appointment with the service team for Saturday (9/26/26). The sales rep informs the service rep that the repairs were on the dealership. Saturday, I drop off the van and head out. Come back. Van outside, not repaired. I am told that I needed to sign and authorize the cost of the repairs. I reminded the service rep of the agreement from Wednesday. He gives me the, let me go find the sales manager. Comes back with the Service manager who doubles down. Asked for the documents I signed. The "We owe" documents that I did not have because they were never returned to me when I picked up the car. "They can do nothing without the documents" she says, like the service rep was not standing right there and confirming that the sales rep said they would. This is a game presented as miscommunication, intended to confuse, frustrate, and exhaust customers. Terrible business. I was actually dumb founded. I could not believe what I was hearing. I have decided, as is probably the plan, to forget about it. Leave ah honest review and go on with my life. But be warned. These people lie. read more

Not good rating is too high for this place. Purchased 2015 CR-V from then when they in Conyers back in 2016 brand new. Faithfully toook my car in for the required services. Last couple of times took my car in for oil changes, nothing but a nightmare. Sat in the lobby over 2hrs for oul change, no update on my car. Approach the service manager and waa told would check on it. About 30mts later my car comes out. About a mont later engine knocks. My husband checks my oile and it's blacker than a tar baby. They hadn't changed my oil. Very few miles driven, worked from home at that time. Fast forward, had to purchase a new engine. They will NEVER see my car over there ever again. Zero stars. Waited over 2 hours for a simple oil change only to be told they couldn't do it because my oil cap was rounded off and they were closing. This is the only place I get my oil changes, so I'm confused why this wasn't noticed or communicated during a previous visit. 2 weeks I reached out to Honda @Stonecrest about pricing and an appointment to get our car serviced. The first person I talked to said that he would call me back at his earliest convenience. I waited about four days and no reply. I called two other times and spoke to two young ladies. I gave them my information. For some reason, the call dropped twice and then I called back. I was told then AGAIN that someone would reach out to me. Nothing. About 2-3 days later I get a call about selling our current Honda that we were inquiring about getting some routine work done to it. I received 5-6 calls about selling the car when I NEVER was in the market to sell the vehicle. I assumed Honda was returning my calls regarding the routine maintenance. That was not the intended target. So I asked the lady why haven't they called me back concerning my questions and setting up an appointment. She was polite and concerned enough to make sure someone called me back ASAP and she got an advisor or manager to call me back 5 minutes later. Finally, I felt like I was about to get some work done to the car so I set up an appointment to get the car checked for the maintenance. I went into the appointment, found out. I didn't need any work done, and the car was in great shape. I noticed the next day that one of the hubcaps was missing off of the car. I tried calling again to speak to someone in the service department and it took two days to finally get a reply back. When I they return my call, the advisor that tended to the car when we were there was so unconcerned about assisting in anyway. He made a statement that maybe someone might have stolen the hubcap off of the car. He also said he would check the cameras to see and I'm still waiting on that call back. I asked the service department how much it would be to replace that one hubcap and I was told it would be $213, which I refused to pay. We have had the car for 7 years and never lost a hubcap until after we brought it in to get the brakes checked. I would've never written this post if there was concern about my needs or at least being attentive....again nothing!! The reaction of it all is what bothers me and that's why I had to write this post. I just purchased one off of Amazon instead for $60 I would rather go to another city far away than come to this location again EVER!! Honestly I am glad I didn't read the reviews before my wife and I purchased our vehicle. I have to say on the Sales side, for a car buying experience, everything was great. Especially, our sales rep Kevin James. He was outstanding with no pressure. Along with Kevin, every staff member we met was courteous and professional. We also liked the touch of giving you a tour of the service department and then taking you to meet the General Manager. It gave a family type atmosphere. My brother as well as my wife's co-worker have both bought cars from here as well. I can't speak to the service side yet but I can only hope that they took a serious look at all the 1-Star reviews and have since made major improvements. I take both my vehicles (CR-V and Ridgeline) here for servicing, and have no complaints on the service. I want to especially thank Kache Hannay for great service, positive attitude and overall awesomeness! What does disappoint me is that Stonecrest Honda feels they need to pass on the credit card processing fee to me. Like most people, I don't have hundreds of dollars in cash lying around, and have to use credit cards to make ends meet. I have owned Hondas since 2000 and I fell in love with the cars, they are great cars and they last! I usually get my car serviced at the dealership so that I good level of service, even though it's more expensive. On Saturday, August 10, 2024 I took my vehicle for service at Stonecrest Honda in Lithonia. Jamirah, our Service advisor was very upbeat and very customer focused. I dropped the car off for my 9 am appointment for an oil change, rotation, spark plugs, etc. the service ended up costing over $1500. When I got in the car I noticed that all my dashboard was completely lit up, I called Honda in Stonecrest and spoke to Rob who explained that while I paid for a diagnosis, I didn't pay to have the dashboard fixed. I am sorry why would you need to charge me $300 to tell me that my dashboard is lit up? Obviously that's apparent. I would have paid to fix it, not for them to look at it and say, yep it's lit up. Rob proceeded to mansplain exactly what was done with the vehicle failing to address my issue. After I expressed that I was able to read, and that I didn't need him to discuss anything but the dashboard he said,"We only diagnosed the dashboard we didn't fix it" Note we were 10 minutes from the dealership at this time. 40 minutes into the drive from Covington my car is smoking so badly we can barely see to drive. We pop the hood and smoke is everywhere. Please note the care was not smoking before this visit to Honda. It smelled of burning chemicals it was horrendous. Here are the videos of the smoke and the engine. I called Stonecrest Honda and was told, that everyone left for the day. On the internet and the door it states that the service center is open until 6:30 pm. I guess they decided to call it an early day and there was my family stuck on the side of the road. I am appalled at this level of unprofessionalism. Furthermore, I am perplexed that the one person I was able to reach insinuated that I should return to Lithonia in said smoking vehicle. After speaking with dealers up and down the east coast, I set aside my assumptions of ridiculously high Atlanta area prices and contacted Stonecrest. Can I just say what a breath of fresh air! They were in constant contact with me, working out the details, while other dealers promised to send me a quote and days later, it's still crickets. Not Stonecrest. My salesperson, Shanice, sent a great video of the car I wanted, they stayed in communication until we agreed on a price (and I was very happy with the price!) and right up to my showroom visit, I felt they were looking forward to meeting me and making me a new and happy Honda owner. At the showroom, I was taken around and introduced to all the managers to claps and smiles. They helped me get set up with Honda link, explained the warranty and even gave me snacks. After a quick test drive it was just signing papers and off I drove with a freshly washed and shiny new car priced at a fantastic price. No one tried to bait and switch or high pressure me into anything. I literally left a bit shocked at the ease of this experience. THIS is what creates dealer loyalty! If you've spoken to other dealers within a 2-3 hour drive, thinking you've spoken to the best, you haven't until you've reached out to Stonecrest. I'm singing high praises here because I normally fly hundreds of miles to get the good deal and experience. Go. Go now. Meet with these folks in this almost brand new Honda dealership and let them remove the typical stigma of the 'car salesman'. I'm so happy with my new passport. As someone concerned about the longevity of a used car this was perfect. Ok I probably wouldn't have come in if the posting didn't mislead me but i like the car and maybe I'll purchase the added warranty. Let's continue. I then ask How much is the car now that we know the lifetime warranty is NOT included in the price? The salesman again shuffled off to speak to a manager who confirmed THE PRICE OF THE CAR IS THE SAME! He then continued to try to sell me the car. I had a similar experience as well. But however, I did not have an appointment when my car decided to not start for anything. It kept saying the key was not in the car but the car would not come on. WILD! I had my car towed and dropped off. They had my car a week and had to re-do the wiring back to what the book stated to get the car to start. However, my screen no longer worked. It was like when tv would go off for the night! Anyway, I never got a reason as to WHY my car all of a sudden would not start after paying $1K. We had a meeting the following week and Rob backpedaled so fast my head spun. Needless to say, still never figured out WHY my car did what it did. Because of this what Rob did, I had a bad taste about this service dept due to his "lack there of leadership". Eventually I had a new radio put in elsewhere and they found out it was a fuse . Please do not go here. I got my honda serviced In May of 2023 for an oil change. Shortly after leaving the dealership I was headed on the road for Mother's Day and my car began to leak oil and cause my engine to fail. It was admitted that the service technician that changed my oil didn't tighten the cap all the way. I had to harass the dealership to fix my car and provide a loaner car for there mistake. I also had to pay $500 for a tow and have my honda towed all the way back to the dealership. I had to harass the financial department for reimbursement. Upon picking my car up they told me they needed to keep my honda an additional 2 weeks because my ABS, Check Engine, VSA warning lights are on (they were not on before) ever since I've got my car back from that day forward nothing but issues and my bought my car new off the lot from them directly. They hire new crew members every month. When you go inside for your appointment or try to explain your concern everyone acts clueless. My car is literally doing the same thing it did 2 years ago and the dealership is not wanting to fix there mistake. read more

The overall experience with finance department was terrible. The service was very slow, and the car was delivered with a "Test Drive" tag. Since it was a weekend, I understood there was no office to arrange the proper registration. But even on Monday and Tuesday, nothing happened. I repeatedly called and emailed to follow up on the temporary car tag. I dont know what will happen tomorrow, Wednesday. Previously, they had told me to drive the car and use it even with the "Test Drive" tag. However, I couldn't use it at work since I needed to register it in our parking lot, and without a proper license plate, I couldn't do that. Plus, the hassle of potentially being pulled over by the police and having to explain the situation was very inconvenient. A sign stating "Test drive does not qualify as a valid plate under any circumstances". ONLY a dealer's full-time employees and corporate officers may also drive dealer-owned vehicles using a dealer's plate." --- as per Department of Revenue statement. So IT IS ILLEGALl for a dealership to give a customer a test drive tag for a purchased car! I can report them to Department of Revenue for that. The customer relations manager sent an email asking me to let them know if I was unsatisfied with the service. But even after I voiced my concerns, no action was taken. By the time the bank office has already closed at 5pm or later, that's the time they will respond, resulting in a wasted day. This was a stark contrast to my experience buying a car at Toyota last year, where everything was ready when I left the dealership. I CAN NOT RECOMMEND BUYING FROM THIS DEALERSHIP as they seem very unorganized, slow, and lacking in communication. I'm incredibly frustrated that I have the car but am unable to drive it to work due to their delays and processing issues, leaving me with just a "Test Drive" tag. read more

An alignment screening is done with cameras as soon as you pull into their garage so they can tell you if you need an alignment for free. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!!! I initially reached out to this dealership on Monday, December 19 inquiring on a pre-owned 2020 Range Rover Sport that was listed for sale on their website. The representative continued to forward me to the sales department for over 10 minutes and no one picked up the phone. On Wednesday, December 21 I reached out again. I then was able to speak with Zach. I had questions regarding availability, pricing, and trade-in appraisal. Due to me being out of town for the holidays, I requested that a virtual appraisal be made on my vehicle. I sent the sales rep, Zach, all the information he requested such as pictures, vin, etc. I never heard back. Yesterday, December 26 I reached out via phone and spoke with Melissa. She stated that the vehicle was still available, and I could make an appointment to come in, test drive, and purchase the vehicle. She advised me that she would have the keys pulled and vehicle ready. So, I made an appointment for today. After confirming my appointment, she sent a text message to "ask for Zach when you arrive". Today after securing financing through my credit union, I traveled over an hour to the dealership to find out that not only was Zach off today but also the General Manager was driving the vehicle and he wasn't there. At this point, I have wasted so much time, so I decided to leave. It is evident that these people are not wanting to do business. I have been in Sales & Business Development for over 15 years, so I expect certain things when doing business, like communication. Avoid buying from this dealership at all costs. They sold a car out from under my wife and I, after we had agreed to a deal. Instead of owning up to it, they lied about it on multiple occasions, until I researched it myself and spoke with the other dealer they sold it to. Then, the car we eventually bought had an emissions issue that caused the check engine light to come on while we were on the way home from the dealership. I visited this location back in April after seeing a post about an SUV that I was interested in. When I got there, it didn't look as great as it did in the ad. The test drive was very short. Not long enough to decide if it rode well or not. I wasn't even taken on the highway ! When I mentioned to the salesman that I wasn't interested, he suggested another vehicle. I didn't want to pay more money for something I didn't like, so I declined. It seems that there was a major shift in his attitude when I told him I wasn't interested in anything. He started talking rude to me and ignoring me when I asked him about having something else shipped. I am VERY GLAD that I didn't spend my money there. The sales manager was very nice! If he was selling me a car, I might have bought it...actually. Another reason I decided not to buy was because of their poor customer service rating on YELP. I found out about it right before arriving so I ultimately decided to not even get mixed up with them....in addition to the rudeness. I ended up buying from Volvo Marietta and I received GREAT customer service from day 1!! I called this dealership three times inquiring about a new Odyssey Elite minivan. I asked them for an out the door price as I live approximately one hour away and wanted to make sure we were close in price before making the trip to possible finalize a deal... I was told a sales rep and or manager would contact me shortly to provide that information. No one contacted me back with the information I requested. A couple days passed and I called back inquired again and said I was waiting on those numbers to determine if I felt this dealership was going to give me a fair price... still nothing no call, text, or email... I called a few days later and told the sales rep on the phone that this was my third and final phone call to get this information on the minivan... he replied he would get the information over to me in a matter of minutes... it's been 4 days since that conversation and I haven't heard from anyone and I won't be calling back. When Conyers Honda moved to Stonecrest I was more than a little alarmed because I was wary of losing the excellent customer service from the Service department. Yesterday I arrived for my 4 p.m. appointment at 3:40 p.m. I was approached almost immediately, after standing next to my car, by a young woman who requested my mileage, told me Geovanni (my Service Advisor) was with a client and I would need to get back in my car to wait. I waited until after 4 p.m. for someone to come and get me for my oil change. I don't know why I was made to wait in my car when no one else was in theirs. The person who finally approached me was not Geovanni but another Service Advisor who said she could check me in for Geovanni. I dropped off my vehicle (never meeting my assigned Service Advisor) and left, after confirming my correct phone number so Geovanni could reach me. I returned to the Stonecrest Honda Service department roughly after 5:30 p.m. During this time there had been none of the customary means of communication that I have grown accustomed to and have appreciated from the Stonecrest Honda Service department. I returned not even knowing if my oil change had been completed. As I approached the service advisor who had initially assisted me, I mentioned to her that I did not Geovanni was a real person. She apologized for the lack of text, phone call and any means of communication and did her best to interpret what had happened with my car. I was (and still am) alarmed by her mention that my tires are on a "4" which, according to her, anything beyond a "3" is bad. Yet on my inspection sheet all tires are checked in the green which leaves to wonder if my tires are safe or not. She did not know where my car was because Geovanni (the imaginary service advisor) never communicated the location to either of us. Therefore, I was left following blindly out the back and then out the front. Upon reaching my car I was also treated to the placement of a new sticker in my windshield notifying my of the mileage and/or date of my next oil change. However, whoever placed the sticker there couldn't be bothered to remove the previous sticker. In addition, I was given the invoice of another customer with their personal information. The Stonecrest Honda Service department has let me down and while I was reluctant to drive from Conyers to Stonecrest to go Honda I am now determined to not return and to post about my disappointment with my experience. read more

So I made a appointment for 1/16 @ 7am. When I dropped my car off I was told it can take 24 to 48 hours to diagnose . Which is horrible for to confirm a axel needs to be replaced . I went to the shop 1/19 since, I had not heard anything . Prior to that, I had called about two days earlier but was placed on hold for a long time , so I hung up . Once I arrived , I was told several voicemails were left. I received none... The service person said , I may have the number blocked . He text me from his computer and the text went through . I asked why didn't I received a text or why didn't anyone call from another number ? By now you have had my car 84 hours .... So now it's 1/19 , I ask how much long to replace a axel ? Now i'm told my car will be ready 1/22 . I call 1/22 @7am and guess what it's not done !! Things need to be "wrapped up " it should be done by noon . This is ridiculous and I will not return , for $600 dollars and a inconvenience, it's not worth it ! I spoke with a the manager , I wasn't impressed with his people skills , he needs training, I guess he was the lead service manager . Would have rated ZERO stars if I could . . . I had a terrible and frightening experience at Stonecrest Honda with their Service Department. I took my 2014 Acura RDX to be serviced here December 2021 when the spark plugs began to misfire. I paid to have all 6 spark plugs and coils replaced. Less than a month later they began to misfire again while I was on the expressway (extremely dangerous and SCARY situation). I took my Acura back to Stonecrest Honda. They replaced all 6 spark plugs for a 2nd time (complimentary because they were under a 1 year warranty) and within the SAME week they began to misfire again. I ended up taking my Acura to Nalley Acura in Marietta where they told me non-compatible spark plugs had been put on my vehicle AND after market coils. Ended up having to spend another $1800 to have my spark plugs and coils replaced. I assumed that since Honda is the parent company to Acura that they would be able to service my car properly but my assumption cost me nearly $4,000. I will not be returning or recommending Honda at Stonecrest to any of my family or friends because I don't want them to end up in a similar unsafe condition like I was. Please take extreme precaution before taking your vehicle to Stonecrest Honda to be serviced. read more

The service was horrible. I arrived at 6:30 a.m for my 7 a.m appointment. I was the very first person in line. I was told it would take 2 hours for an oil change. At 10 a.m the service writer, Jesse, tells me that he accidentally wrote up someone else's car under my name so my car hasn't been touched yet and I would have to wait another 2 hours. I left without having any service done but they reset maintenance reminder as if they'd worked on my car. I spoke to the Service manager, Rob, who said that he would make my vehicle a priority when I come back and priority service would have me waiting an hour and a half. I ended up changing the oil myself which only took 30 minutes and not 2 hours. I will NEVER take any of my three Accords there again. Worst experience ever!! read more

I love my Honda Accord. I've been the proud owner of Honda for 30 years and bought all but one from the former Conyers now Stonecrest Honda. So in 2020 I went to purchase a Hybrid CRV. They didn't have my color options and offered me $1000 off if I went with another color choice. I thought about it. Ok but now going to give me less for my 2012 Accord which I brought from them. No I said, I'll wait or better yet switch to Toyota. But first I drive the Hybrid CRT which BTW I love the interior and exterior. This car is almost as noisy as my 2012. So I don't buy, after all my Accord has had all its regular scheduled maintenance and runs great. Months later I go in for my Fall maintenance and I'm told I need over $3000 in replacement parts. Now normally I just go with Honda and would pay the $$$. Not this time. I take to a small shop and none of the stuff is failing. I'm hurt. Honda, you were the reliable light in my life. So how many of the other maintenance repairs did I really need? We will never know. What I do know is no more Honda service for me. But I am thinking about buying a 2022 Accord Hybrid next year. And 2 years later my 2012 Accord is running perfectly. read more

The dealership ether doesn't know what they are doing or are really good at gaslighting people or don't want to sell cars. I can see why ratings on them are really low. Terrible, Terrible, Terrible Customer Service. I had a 9:30am A1 (Oil Change, Tire Rotation) service. Totally understand if they're overloaded with service requests BUT good customer service protocols would inform customer to give them an opportunity to reschedule or come back to pick car up later. Sooooo disappointed. Service attendant never came to update me or send the maintenance video. I should've known he was trifling when I asked him to get my walker out of the trunk and he walked off. SMH Will never be back here again. read more
