The first appointment I had he didn't check in with me after waiting an hour so I Left. 2nd appointment he told me the Nissan leaf was ready for me but it was dead stuck in the middle of the parking lot. Liars, grifters and thieves. On Friday 1-21-22, purchased vehicle with signed contingency rider on the sale, by the sales manager, that stated: "Vehicle to be inspected before deal is finalized." Had vehicle delivery to my home as it was a service they offered. Car not delivered 1-21-22. After numerous calls and lies, car was finally delivered Monday evening 1-24-22. Set appointment with Toyota to have vehicle inspected, 1-26-22. Inspection shows blown head gasket, nearly 3 quarts low on oil, and most likely blown rings and bent rods as head gasket would not blow out that much oil. It's consuming oil. Plugs do not look like they have been replaced and appear to be original plugs. Engine is shot. Contact Evolution cars, spoke to Jay 'The Whipman'. The 'Whipman' says he's going to tell the manager... Still no call from sales manager after 2 days. Contact Evolution cars again, they transfer me to 'Miss D' in service and she began to tell me the car should have never been listed for sale yet as it had not gone through service. That they were going to pick the car up and make things right... 3 days pass, no contact. Call and leave VM for 'Miss D'. Again, no call back. Call back Friday and was sent straight to VM. Sunday 2-6-22 returned vehicle and spoke with manager 'Roddy'. Handed him signed sales contingency rider. Confers with the sales grifter Jarod about this contingency rider. Sales grifter confirms this to be true. Told me that they were going to 'rewind the deal', asked me for my email address and they would be sending me paperwork to refund my money the following day. Paperwork never shows up, keep calling and they keep dumping my phone calls into VM and no one ever contacts me back. Called from a different number and under false name... Get Manger 'Eugene'. EVERYTHING about my car buying experience was HORRIBLE. 1st off, they charged me 1 $10,000 ober blue book value for a car that had a blown engine!! They lied about EVERYTHING from the interest rate to the 25-point inspection they claimed they did before putting up for sale. I bought a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Sahara from them on April 27th it drove it until May 2nd. it had a 3,000-mile power train warranty. It started dying at every red light and then I was rear- ended and caliber collision put it on a new frame and when they did, they found a list of things that were wrong with the car and were surprised it even ran as long as it did. They informed me that they couldn't do any more work on it because the issue is with the motor and doesn't have anything to do with the collision. It was towed back to Evolution cars, where I was told that Caliber Collision is to blame for the issues. They said they could help me, but it wouldn't be covered by the warranty. At this point, I paid the car off and paid well over what the car was worth. They took it apart twice. 1st, they said it was the pistons, but when they put it back together, it was still making a funny noise. They took it apart AGAIN, and 2 days later, they said that it was ready to pick up. When I got there to pick it up it had a very loud ticking noise (which they said was normal for jeeps) and it was blowing blue smoke (which they also said was normal) they told me it was fine and that it was just a simple O2 sensor. I told them I don't trust that they know what the real problem is, so I'd rather take it to my mechanic. 2 days later I was told my a REAL mechanic that it would cost more to fix what was wrong with the motor than to just get a new one, help also told me the catalytic converter had a whole interaction it and needed to be replaced. $11,000.... that's how much it cost me to fix it the correct way. I went to talk to the manager and he straight up told me I didn't pay all that money and that when they had me come get it from Mitsubishi it was "running." Who cares that it was ticking and barely moving and blowing blue smoke out of the exhaust, right? As long as it goes forward, they are good with selling it. I had multiple employees there warn me about their lack of integrity and that they only care about money, not the customer they also stated that if it was them, they would go run of they were me, cut my losses and go somewhere else to have it fixed.... and they work there!! This is the absolute worst place to get a car. If you're reading this in the midst of a big decision whether or not to do business with these people, RRRUUUUNNNNN!!!!! you're off to a better start than I was, I wish I would have researched this business. They just had one thing on their mind and that was my $12,000 cash down payment. Car was listed at $29,000 I paid: $12,000 down payment $8,000 payment $677.00 payment $677.00 payment $10,000 payment $7,644. Payment $11,000 motor costs. $49,998.00 is what i paid for a jeep that is barely worth $22,000 according to KBB. to top it off, they only offered me 19,000 for trade-in value and when I found a car that was 29,000 (listed as much as the jeep was listed) they told me if i brought in 17,000 and traded in the jeep i just spent almost 50,000 on i could own it. Lol, but how does that math add up? Shouldn't I just have to pay the $10,000 difference the way Carmax does? Not with evolution.... they wanted another $7,000 for what??? A convenience fee for making it easy for them to Fu** me over again!?! Even if it seems like a good deal, it's most likely a lie. I'm not sure how these theives are still in business, and if I can help.it, they won't be for much longer. I'll most likely be taking this situation to court. Honestly, the pricing, mileage, and year all seemed a little too good to be true. I asked Katrice if the listing was accurate, which she confirmed. The only thing was, there were no pictures listed for this vehicle. I asked if we could get photos after asking for confirmation of our test drive appointment (after we accidentally set two appointments). I never received a response to either question. The next response I received was "Just checking in to see if you're on your way out". This text was received at 2:22pm, our appointment was set at 11am/11:30am (we never got confirmation of which time was permanent). Next, I reminded them that I asked for a confirmation of our appointment time, and then if they had pictures. I then received a link to "pictures" but it wasn't even of the car I was going to look at. It was of some other SUV that wasn't even of the same brand. I reminded them which car I was going to see and they said they didn't even have it. My family and I would have had to go via UBER to Conyers for this place from Duluth just for them to not have it. They thought we were just going to blindly go? Honestly, I felt their listing was a little too good to be true and it felt like a lure. I'm glad we decided not to go. And if you're asking why we didn't just reach out again to confirm our time and ask again for photos- why should we have to? There are MAAAAANY dealerships to choose from. This is the worst experience buying a vehicle that I have ever had, the Georgia Consumer Protection Division, especially after paying $50k for a vehicle that is falling apart and that this dealer knew was falling apart but lied to me. When I first arrived to test drive the vehicle, i was told the vibration I felt was from the truck needing new tires, which at the time was believable since the wires were pretty much showing through the rubber. I had to wait over a week after purchasing for them to put my new tires on, and this is AFTER me calling every day to ask for an update. The service department here is a joke, every time I called they acted like they had no idea what my truck needed to come in for. When my tires finally arrived, I showed up to be told I was getting two new tires...not the 4 I was a promised on the contract I signed when I bought the vehicle. We finally got it sorted out and they put 4 new tires on, great. HOWEVER, at the same time they were putting my tires on I was told that my truck needed new engine mounts and that was the source of the vibration, not the tires. I sat at the dealer in the service department from 11am-7pm...to be told at closing that my truck does not need engine mounts, THE DRIVETRAIN NEEDS TO BE REPLACED COMPLETELY. At this time, I was told by "Ms. Dee" that they would call me the next day with an update. Several days went by with no phone calls (similar to the whole new tire situation), and at this point I started calling daily for updates as the drivetrain issue kept getting worse and worse. Every time I was told by "Ms. Dee" that she needed to look up the status and call me back. Well, those calls back never happened and 45 days later after buying the truck I still have no answers and no one will even call me back at this point. I'm about to have to make the first payment on this truck and it's almost unable to be driven at this point. I have reached out to the salesman Michael Jackson also (who I would avoid at all costs if you do choose to buy from here) and have been met with silence from him as well. At this point, I honestly can't believe this is how this place does business and that they are still in business. Especially after reading all of the other one-star reviews. Now today, I received a voicemail approximately a week ago stating that they have my title and are pending ME getting an emissions test before it is able to be released. I say to myself that doesn't seem right and call the department of motor vehicles. They inform me that is not right and is actually illegal. They give me options but all are long and I really want my title. I drive to this place to have words with them. They apologize and give me directions to get my emissions test completed for free, just to get this whole situation cleared.
